Bella Hadid Used This Bathroom Tool For Her Flawless Grammys Hair
Bella Hadid is fierce AF. Whether we’re watching her strut her stuff on the Fashion Week runways or catching her steaming up our screens as a music video vixen (you’ve seen In The Night with The Weeknd, right?!), Bella’s super bold style is always on display and seriously on point. Last night’s Grammy Awards were no different: Bella (somehow) effortlessly balanced looking edgy and chic, complete with perfectly polished hair — but there was a totally unexpected hack to achieving her super sleek locks.
A basic toothbrush was hairstylist Mark Townsend’s tool of choice to tame Bella’s baby hair and flyaways. We’re not talking about some fancy shmancy toothbrush either — Mark opted for one of those really simple, inexpensive plastic ones that’s tightly packed with bristles. Beyond the toothbrush tool, Mark’s Instagram proved that he turned to affordable, drugstore hair care brand Dove to prep (by using a serum) + finish (by using an extra-hold hairspray) Bella’s Grammy’s hairstyle.
If you’re taking a cue from Mark and Bella and are after that smooth, glossy look — aka one that’s completely free of flyaways — spritz a toothbrush with a strong-hold hairspray and then brush down those pesky hairs that pop up. You can use this technique on your hairline and around your part and can even throw the toothbrush (with a cap on it!) and a travel-sized hairspray in your purse for touchups on-the-fly.
