Anyone Cran Make Our Cranberry Pear Ginger Fizz
As we tackle Thanksgiving classics over the next couple weeks, one thing keeps stumping us. Cranberry sauce. Sure, it can be delicious, but it’s hard to get too excited about a new way to prepare it. We thought about spiking it with red wine, mulling it over the stove, or turning it into a tart. But none of those quite fit the Brit + Co. bill. The obvious answer? A cranberry cocktail, of course!
Ingredients:
– 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
– 1 bottle ginger beer
– gin (we used Hendrick’s)
– 1/2 pear
– 1/2 lime
– simple syrup
– rosemary for garnish
Could these ingredients look more festive?
First, we’ll get our muddle on. Each drink takes 4-5 cranberries and a few slices of pear. Muddle those fruits up.
Next, add a little bit of lime juice and simple syrup. You want about a teaspoon of each.
Add a jigger of gin, fill with ice, and get ready to shake it!
Shake with ice in a shaker.
Use a strainer to pour into a champagne flute. Add ginger beer, and you’re almost done!
The last thing to do is add your garnish. We tossed in a few cranberries and sprig of rosemary for that classic holiday flavor.
Repeat for as many glasses as you like and you’re done!!
