Someone Has Finally Released a New Nail Polish Collection for All Different Skin Tones
When it comes to inclusivity, fashion and beauty industries have often been slow to the punch. Companies are finally re-defining the shade “nude” with inclusive ballet shoes and lingerie. And now, a socially conscious beauty company is releasing a trio of nail polishes for all different skin tones.
That’s right: no more mixing colors to find the perfect naked hue! A beauty brand that’s dedicated to inclusivity, Mented Cosmetics, is filling the void with its new collection of nudes in three diverse shades: Pinkish, a soft pink; Yes We Tan, a “truly nude nail shade;” and Brown & Bougie, a rich brown.
In their company bio, Mented founders KJ Miller and Amanda E Johnson write that, “We created Mented Cosmetics because we believe every woman should be able to find herself in the world of beauty. We know you’ll love being put first — because when it comes to beauty, no one deserves to be an afterthought.” And their new collection definitely stays true to that sentiment.
What’s more, the lacquers are vegan, cruelty-free, and made right here in the USA. They sell for $8 apiece or, for $15, you can snag the entire limited-edition collection.
