Though they were a little off when it came to thinking it’s lip balm. The creative director of e.l.f., Achelle Richards, told Elite Daily that the secret compartment actually contains a lipstick sample. The sample is the same color as the lipstick inside, so instead of adding the color to the sticker on the bottom of the tube for you to check, you can actually pop off the compartment to see the full sample.
Ready for more? Apparently e.l.f.’s matte lip colors come with a sharpener in the bottom.
