Pep Up Your Movie Night with Party Popcorn
It’s February and it’s still cold outside, so it seems like the perfect time for a cozy movie night. But rather than popping the same ole, plain ole popcorn, why not pep it up with some Candy Melts® and sprinkles? The result is seriously delicious.
But don’t stop there. We also created some ridiculously easy polka dot napkins and popcorn bags to really take it up a notch. We think this duo would be perfect for your Oscar party on Sunday, February 24th.
Ingredients:
– Microwave popcorn (butter flavor)
– Wilton White Candy Melts®
– Wilton Rainbow Nonpareils
– Wilton Gold Stars Edible Accents
– Wilton Cinnamon Drops
Supplies:
– Pencil
First, let’s get that popcorn popping.
Spread popped popcorn onto a baking sheet.
Then round up your Wilton supplies.
Melt the Candy Melts®, then drizzle over 1/3 of the popcorn and top with the Rainbow Nonpareils.
Then repeat with the Cinnamon Drops…
And finally the Gold Stars Edible Accents. Set aside to firm up.
Now it’s time to make your party really pop with some polka dot party accessories.
Use the pencil and gold paint to pep up the popcorn bags.
Repeat the process to turn your napkins from drab to fab (but could turquoise napkins ever really be drab?).
Now that’s a party napkin.
Fill your bags with popcorn.
And serve your party popcorn to your guests (or keep it all to yourself)!
