4 Ways to Snag Reese Witherspoon’s Casual Brunch Style

Summertime weekends in the city are made for brunching. There’s nothing better than grabbing a girlfriend or two and ordering up a stack of fluffy pancakes and a bellini. Reese Witherspoon knows what’s up. The actress and Draper James founder was spotted out to a casual brunch last Friday where she snapped this adorable photo of herself holding a giant mug of coffee (she likes big mugs and she cannot lie!) next to a brightly colored pot of roses.
From her bright lip to her chic sunnies, we want to steal everything in this Southern Belle-approved look — down to that cup of delicious looking coffee — and we’ve figured out how to do it. Here four simple steps on how to copy her look for your own Sunday brunch tomorrow.
1. A bright fuschia lip: This lip color definitely makes a big statement. We can’t see Reese’s eye makeup behind her sunglasses, but we’d advise to keep your glam low-key to really let the fuschia pop. Snag a similar color, like Lancôme’s Fuschia in Paris ($25) on the left or MAC’s All Fired Up ($16) on the right.
2. Nude cat-eye sunglasses: Cat eyes and nude? Her sunglasses are super on trend for the season and a must-have. You can score yourself a similar pair from Tory Burch ($165) on the left or from Chloe ($296) on the right.
3. Classic chambray shirt: This closet staple never goes out of style. Seriously. You can dress it up for a night out with a miniskirt and heels, and down with a pair of denim shorts. (Canadian tuxedo, anyone?) If you don’t have one yet, you can get a similar one to Reese’s from Frank & Eileen ($198) or Topshop ($65).
