10 Ways to Style Cowboy Boots (+ Giveaway!)
It’s no secret that we’ve got a serious country twang here at Brit + Co. Not only does Brit herself hail from Texas, but all of us Californians are still dreaming of the wild wild west. When the fine folks at Country Outfitter approached us with the idea of giving away a pair of authentic cowboy boots, our first thought was “YES!” and our second was, “How many ways can you style a pair of cowboy boots for everyday use?”
As is our nature, we’ve come up with 10 ways, but we know there are many more… to boot! After checking out our styles, be sure to enter our contest for a chance to win a gift card towards your very own pair of gorgeous cowboy boots!! The boots used in the looks below are the Lucchese Peanut Brittle Madras Boots and the Durango Crush Sultry Slouch Boots.
1. Summer Meets Fall
We’re pretty happy that the whole shorts-with-tights trend is still around. It’s definitely the best way to make summer style feel fall fresh. (Boots: Sultry Slouch)
2. Sandy Goes Denim
Yes, we’re talking about Sandy from Grease. When her black-clad self goes country, she throws on a denim vest, cowboy boots, and statement earrings. (Boots: Peanut Brittle Madras)
3. Classic Trench
How do you spice up the classic black dress and trench look? Cowboy boots! This look is great for work to cocktail hour. (Boots: Peanut Brittle Madras)
4. Black & White
Sometimes keeping things simple is the best way to let certain accessories shine. This has a romantic country vibe with the limited color palette of high fashion style. (Boots: Peanut Brittle Madras)
5. West Coast Wolf
Tap into meme fashion with a neon wolf number. A shirt in the front and dress in the back, we love the changing hemline of this frock. (Boots: Peanut Brittle Madras)
6. Casual Vibe
This look comes straight from any college campus. Jeans, a tank undershirt, bright bag and a comfy sweater. (Boots: Sultry Slouch)
7. Disco Rodeo
Just because you’re hitting the country doesn’t mean you can’t rock a sparkly disco vibe. Accent with a big leather belt that complements your boots. (Boots: Sultry Slouch)
8. Bold Boho
Who says the bohemian look is limited to earthy tones? For a new twist on boho chic, pair a flowy top with bold red pants. (Boots: Sultry Slouch)
9. Country Flow
When the classic country girl goes a little bit hippie, this is what you get. Gorgeous eastern-inspired textiles with a crocheted halter. And how bangin’ is that silver statement necklace? (Boots: Peanut Brittle Madras)
10. Vintage Vixen
To get this look, you’ll likely have to hit a thrift store. We found this lovely purple number and knew it would look just perfect with a pair of boots. (Boots: Sultry Slouch)
11. Cowgirl Bride (Bonus!)
Obviously we couldn’t forget about how well cowboy boots go with wedding dresses! Brit rocked her own set of Lucchese boots last year at her Pixel Cowboy wedding. Any other cowgirl brides (or brides-to-be) out there!?
Now, what about that contest? Country Outfitter is giving away a gift card for $150 to one lucky Brit + Co. fan!!
