OpenTable Just Revealed the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America
Important announcement: It’s February already. Besides the super exciting fact that 2016 is a leap year, the arrival of the second month also means Valentine’s Day is swiftly approaching. If you’re looking to celebrate with a super creative date idea this year, we get that. But we also understand how nice a classic romantic dinner can be. If you’re feeling more like stuffing your face with a $100 lobster plate than bungee jumping off a bridge, we suggest you take a look at OpenTable’s recently released list of the 100 most romantic restaurants in America.
OpenTable gathered five million restaurant reviews submitted by verified diners for more than 20,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Listed in alphabetical order, California has 15 winning restaurants, followed by New York and Virginia with eight apiece. Colorado is home to seven and Arizona, Florida and Texas each hold six.
So, what kind of food can you expect to find represented here? American and French cuisines dominate the list. However, Italian restaurants and steakhouses were also popular picks. A few restaurants specializing in fondue also found their way onto the list.
Check out the full list here and then – if you want to have any chance of spending Valentine’s Day at one of these places – go make a reservation immediately.
