This 101 Dalmatians Engagement Shoot Is Making Our Hearts Melt
When you go for a Disney themed anything, there is always a risk of it looking a little bit like an 8-year-old’s birthday party gone wrong. But when it’s done right, it can look totally magical — one look at these Disney princess wedding dresses or this spooky Malificient ceremony proves that. Just in case you need another example about how to do Disney right, look to Tony Collier and Corinne Jones, who just shared the cutest101 Dalmatians engagement photos we’ve ever seen.
Shot by Melissa Biggerstaff, the series perfectly mimics that iconic meet-cute at the beginning of the 1961 classic when Londoners, Roger and Anita, are brought together by their mischievous pets. The photos start just like the movie: both parties are minding their own business until their pups decide to bring them together. Their leashes quickly become all tangled and twisted and the two accidentally fall into the park’s lake only to end up in a fit of giggles.
The couple shared the photos on Tony’s Imgur account. He wrote, “My future wife’s favorite movie is 101 Dalmatians, and for our engagement photos she asked if we could recreate this one iconic scene (using our respective family dogs of course, Mookie & Izabelle). How could I resist?”
According to Cosmopolitan, “The two met in 2009 at the University of Illinois while dancing at a formal. After graduation, they went to work at Walt Disney World, Tony training at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Corinne teaching youth groups about the railroad.”
Could this mean Tony and Corinne also have a 101 Dalmatians wedding in the works? We definitely have our fingers (and paws) crossed.
