12 Statement-Making Street Styles You *Have* to See from Lollapalooza’s Canadian Sister, Osheaga

While Chicago braved the rain at Lollapalooza, 135,000 music lovers in Montreal put up with their own share of thunderstorms and monsoon-like conditions to enjoy unforgettable performances by Lorde, Muse, The Weeknd, and more at Lolla’s Canadian sister, the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival. Equally as impressive as concert-goers’ willingness to deal with ongoing showers and waaaay too much mud were this year’s festival fashions (once the ponchos came off, of course). As these 12 fierce street style snaps prove, if there’s one thing Osheaga fans love, it’s the opportunity to show off their boldest statement-making looks for all to see. Which look is your favorite? Fishnets 2.0: Taking a page from Kylie Jenner’s lookbook and rocking black fishnet socks with loafers, this is one music fan who upped the ante by pairing her fishnets with... more fishnets! The white see-through dress on top of a simple white bathing suit screamed Instagram, and can we talk about how adorbs her backpack is?
Pin-Up Vibes: We spotted this fab look from a mile away! Proving that you can indeed pull off glam at a festival, this lovely gal gave us major Dita Von Teese vibes with her picture-perfect curls and bold lip. The Queen of Pin-Up would surely be proud.
Fancy Overalls: We saw our fair share of overalls throughout the weekend, but none quite as fierce as this pair. The all-over floral print delivered serious Hawaiian vibes, i.e. just the thing we all needed after rain, rain, and more rain.
Sparkle Overload: A little bit rock and a little bit glamorous, this fierce look stopped us in our tracks. The super sparkly multi-colored romper was pop-star-approved while the studded leather jacket and leather belt (complete with plenty of floor-length frills) added a major dose of edge and originality, letting her personality shine bright!
Hair Goals: By far our fave ‘do of the fest, these blue ombre fishtail braids accented with daisies deserve a spot on your beauty radar. Paired with classic black from head to toe, this lovely lady let her hair do all the talking, and we were SO there for it.
PJ Style: Pyjama-inspired looks are taking over the runways (we see you, Gucci!), and what better way to be uber comfy and on-trend than with a bold floral set that could easily double up as a stylish napping ensemble in one of the many hammocks on-site? These two besties also get bonus points for sporting complementary florals and not just #twinning.
Rock-Star Chic: "Where can we get one?!" was our first thought upon spotting this pink satin trench in a sea of black and gray looks. Then we saw the rest of the outfit and we were sold. Mesh T-shirt: Check. Sequin skirt: Check. Statement necklace: Check. Dr. Martens: Check. This is the definition of effortless cool and we’re in love.
Friendship Goals: Who says group costumes are only fitting on Halloween? These five BFFs transformed into their own version of a fierce superhero crew (move over, Power Rangers!) by rocking matching kimonos in various shades paired with glittery cat masks. Bonus: They can defs recycle this festival look come October 31, making it a real win-win.
Gaga-Approved: There’s no doubt Mother Monster herself would approve of this cutout KISS T-shirt layered underneath a black mesh tank and paired with a black cap complete with Mickey ears. We mean, it’s a look Gaga would totally rock herself, both on and off stage. Yas!
Blush Party: Dropping temps didn’t stop this babe from showing off her best party-ready look made up of satin blush shorts and a shimmery halter top covered with huge sequins that made us want to break out our best disco-inspired dance moves.
Camo Sisters: Forget flower crowns; the biggest trend we spotted at this year’s festival was, hands down, camo pants. From orange to classic green and pink, they popped up in all sorts of hues. The perfect mix of tough and feminine, we have a feeling this new take on military apparel is going to continue well into fall.
Bejewelled Queen: This is how you channel your inner Rihanna! The see-through bra paired with strategically placed jewels is not a look everyone would be bold enough to rock, but this confident #bossbabe totally owned it.
