We love avocados and we love chocolate (duh), but pairing the two together is a move that still feels somewhat forbidden. It’s a dessert trend that in-the-know foodies have been giving a go for quite some time, whipping up delectable desserts like avocado mint chocolate chip and chocolate avocado mousse, but the unexpected flavor combo is about to go a whole lot more mainstream thanks to Compartés Chocolatier.
The same geniuses responsible for bringing us rosé chocolate and J.Crew-clad chocolates, the company is now producing Avocados + Chocolate Bars ($10) for the masses.
Described as a “white chocolate dream,” the bar pairs Compartés white chocolate with real avocados from the California Avocado Commission to bring us the bite-sized treat. Enclosed in a green avocado-printed package, it looks just as good as it’s sure to taste.
It’s not Compartés’ only creative endeavor, either: Other wacky chocolate flavors include Potato Chip Crisp ($10), Cereal Bowl White Chocolate & Cereal ($10), and a new Tequila Lime bar ($10), just in time for Cinco de Mayo.
