Here Are the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominations
Awards season rollout continues! Following the nominations for the 2019 Golden Globes and the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards for film and TV, the Screen Actors Guild revealed its nominees for the 2019 SAG Awards ceremony, which will air on January 27 on TNT and TBS.
Crazy Rich Asians breakout star Awkwafina and Orange Is the New Black‘s Laverne Cox announced the nominees from the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on Wednesday, December 12. The 15 categories honor the best performances in both film and television over the past year, and the film nominees are often considered good indicators of how the Oscar nominations will go. This year, A Star Is Born leads the pack with nods in four categories, followed by BlacKkKlansman and The Favourite, which have three noms each.
In television, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Ozark were tied with four nominations, followed by Barry, GLOW, The Handmaid’s Tale, and The KominskyMethod, which each earned three.
Check out the full list of 2019 SAG Awards nominees below, and check back for more information on the telecast as its January 27 air date nears.
