5 More Shows Every Bones Fan Should Stream STAT
Anybody else counting down to the Bones season finale tonight? Never before have any of the previous 10 finales disappointed us (side note: Can you believe we’re on season 11 already!?), so we can’t wait to see what happens to Bones and Booth tonight. We’ve heard that there’s an incredible plot twist, so plans for tonight are officially cancelled and the snacks are being prepared. But, as soon as the show ends, we know the wait until season 12 is just going to feel tooooooo long. So, to help the next few months pass a little more quickly, we rounded up five more shows to fill the watch-list void.
Much like Temperance Brennan, The Closer‘s Brenda Johnson, played by Kyra Sedgwick, is more than meets the eye. The tough lady was trained by the CIA and now works for the LAPD solving sensitive murder cases. Stream it now from Amazon. (Photo via TNT)
IF YOU LIKE FEDERAL WORK AND PERSONAL LIFE MIXING, WATCH IN PLAIN SIGHT
Mary Shannon gives back. The show follows her character, a US Marshall in the Witness Protection Program, who is a witness herself. As she works relocating people, her own personal life starts to unravel. You can watch it from Amazon. (Photo via USA)
IF YOU LIKE WATCHING THE FBI WORK, WATCH WITHOUT A TRACE
When New Yorkers disappear without a trace, it is up to this special FBI squad to track them down before 72 hours have passed (the deadline for when rescue is still likely). If you love when Bones gets full of action, you’ll love this one. The show is available from Amazon. (Photo via CBS)
IF YOU LIKE DUOS SOLVING MURDERS TOGETHER, WATCH ELEMENTARY
This modern take on Sherlock Holmes has one big twist: Dr. Watson is played by Lucy Liu. Take the crime-solving duo vibes of Bones, put it in modern New York and add in the dark history of Sherlock’s addictions. It’s a clever show that will grab you until the mystery is fully solved. You can stream Elementary from Amazon and Hulu. (Photo via CBS)
IF YOU LIKE DAVID BOREANAZ, WATCH ANGEL
If the reason you tune into Bones is David Boreanaz AKA Seeley Booth, get more of your favorite actor in his 2000s show Angel. Because the show is a Buffy spin-off, you may think Boreanaz’s role would be incredibly different. But it’s not. He’s still got the same goofy charm that makes you smile, roll your eyes and (before you know it) binge through five seasons. It’s available from Amazon, Hulu and Netflix. (Photo via TNT)
