Rashida Tlaib’s sons dab in celebration of their mom’s first vote. Tlaib’s first day on the job was full of more broadly historic firsts — including, possibly, the first time a congressperson’s young children have dabbed on the House floor. The moment occurred when Tlaib stood to cast her vote for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, marking her first vote as an official member of Congress. And, as is usually the case when kids dab, it was extremely cute. (Photo by Chip Somodevila/Getty Images)
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rocks a suffragette-white pantsuit. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 29, has been a breakout political star since she announced her candidacy in 2018, and the New York representative has already shown she won’t shy away from making a statement. She took her oath of office in a bright white pantsuit — a signature color of the suffragette cause — and bold red lipstick. Slay, AOC. (Photo by Zach Gibson/ Getty Images)
