We’re No Diggity, No Doubt Obsessed With These ’90s Hip-Hop Totes
We feel a super special connection between those makers who share in our unyielding affinity for all things ‘90s. As if we wouldn’t want to be besties with OhGoshCindy, the betty behind the watercolor portraits of the Clueless cast or the minds at Greenwich Letterpress who dreamed up the idea to stamp the names of ‘90s power couples into No. 2 pencils. But no one has made us wanna shoop more than #KOLLOQUIAL, the brand/hashtag responsible for pimping out organic canvas totes with classic hip-hop lyrics.
Some of the most quotable musings from acts like Snoop Dogg, Coolio and Salt-n-Pepa are hand-embroidered in a cute cursive font on its line of $48 carryalls. Lyrics like “Whoomp! (There it is)” and “No diggity, no doubt” make cameos. The latter just might be our fave — after all, we did have an impromptu all-team dance party to the Blackstreet jam just last week.
Before you start bustin’ out your Benjamins, note that most of these badass bags are currently sold out :( But #KOLLOQUIAL promises a second round of show stoppers soon, and even previews a few pieces featuring cuts from tracks like “Big Pimpin’” and “Good Vibrations.” Just whatever you do, Don’t Call It a Comeback.
