All right, youngsters, if you have no idea what this Halloween costume is about, it’s time to put a movie night on the calendar and take in the 1992 wonder that is A League of Their Own.
First off, the cast includes Tom Hanks, Rosie O’Donnell, Geena Davis, *and* MADONNA. Secondly, it’s a straight-up empowering piece of female sports history that tells the fictionalized account of the real-life All-American Girls Pro Baseball League. And it makes for a cute and easy-to-put-together family Halloween costume!

To add that Rockford Peaches touch, create “R” patches for the hats using red and white felt applied with felt glue. For the grown-ups, we also created “City of Rockford Peaches” patches by drawing the logo on paper. We opted to not include this on Anokhi’s costume because we knew she would peel it off within seconds ;)
This is an easy costume to recreate with a big family or group of friends, and it’s definitely work-friendly.
