Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo Reveal the Sex of Baby Number 2!
Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo aren’t wasting any time growing their family, revealing in September that they were expecting their second child less than a year after welcoming their first, daughter Dusty Rose. Now, in an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Levine is dishing on when the new bundle will be here — and whether it’ll be a little brother or sister for Dusty.
“It is a girl; we are having another girl,” the Maroon 5 frontman told the host. When DeGeneres asked how she was feeling, Levine was not shy with the glowing praise for his wife.
“She’s awesome. She’s just like a champion of the world,” Levine said. “She’s killing it. You wouldn’t know she’s almost seven months pregnant.”
Though Prinsloo isn’t due for another two months, DeGeneres couldn’t help but ask if the pair is going to have even more children.
“Probably. I want a lot,” Levine said. “I thrive with chaos. I really, generally enjoy and love it.” He added that his wife was on the same page, and as an only child “wants like 100 babies” to keep each other company. Levine then admitted that Prinsloo’s baby-ful dreams might be a tad too many for him.
DeGeneres describes 13-month-old Dusty — who the host famously named — as “a little zen baby,” which Levine admits he finds confusing. “Because her parents — we’re, like, maniacs. She kind of calms us down,” he said. “She looks at you like, ‘Okay. Relax.’ It’s good. It’s important.” By the sounds of it, having those 100 kids might not be so bad after all!
