Adele Has a Secret Twitter Account for the Most Hilarious (and Relatable) Reason
It’s hard to imagine adoring Adele more than we already do, especially after her epic Beyoncé-lovin’ Grammy speech and her reason for hiding in a box at her own concerts (seriously, SHE HIDES IN A BOX AND GETS ROLLED AROUND!). But now we’ve found out that the superstar singer has a secret Twitter account, and the reason behind it is hilariously relatable.
Fans of Adele will know well that she, obvs, has an official Twitter account, and while those posts *do* come from the singer herself, it turns out that they don’t *directly* come from Adele. That is, they have to be checked and censored first. Why? Because she’s been banned from her own account for something that we’ve pretty much all done.
Back in 2015, Adele revealed to the BBC, “[When] Twitter first came out I was, like, drunk tweeting, and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times. So my management decided that you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone, but they’re all my tweets. No one writes my tweets. They just post them for me.”
However, according to The Sun, during her Brisbane, Australia show, Adele revealed a secret, saying, “I was looking on Twitter last night. They don’t know I have a secret account. Well obviously they do now because I said that. By ‘they’ I mean my management.” O RLY?! We can’t help but wonder what that secret account might be named (maybe @BeyFan1, @AngelosMom, or @ELEDA?) and what she could possibly be posting. Tipsy or sober, it’s surely quality content.
Do you have a secret social media account? Let us know @BritandCo! We won’t tell! *wink*
