Alanis Morissette Goes Mermaid in This Nude Underwater Baby Bump Pic
With so many celebrities expecting babies these days, it’s becoming harder to come up with a unique baby bump pic idea. Audrina Patridge took things to extreme heights by posing on top of a skyscraper and Erika Christensen’s Hawaiian vacation baby-bump pics were total locale #goals. And Alanis Morissette, who is currently VERY pregnant and no stranger to making seriously soulful art, has decided to take a dive for her baby-bump pic. Or rather, she’s opted for a gorgeous underwater shot that is worthy of any expecting mermaid mama.
The 42-year-old “You Oughta Know” singer, who already has a son with rapper Mario “Souleye” Treadway, is expecting her second little one, and from the looks of her belly, it could be any day now. Posting the pic to Instagram, the soon-to-be mama-of-two added the caption, “’You have to be extra gentle around ladies because they are the most helpful people in the world ’cause they make persons’ -Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway” Yes, that quote would be from Alanis’s obviously wise five-year-old son. So sweet!
Showing the singer fully submerged in a bright blue pool, Alanis is wearing nothing, but has her legs bent up and her hands over her breasts to discretely cover any bits she might want to keep private. Floating in an almost fetal position and seen from the side, her belly is on full display, as is the serene smile on her face.
