Get a Sneak Peek at the New Alexander Wang for H&M Collection
High-fashion is having a majorly sporty moment. From Gisele riding waves in a surf-themed film ad for Chanel’s No. 5 perfume to Cara’s own streetwear-style collection for DKNY to Karl Lagerfeld designing a $175,000 Louis Vuitton punching bag, beanies, shower slides and sports bras-as-tops are all very in. And after the hugely anticipated collaboration between Alexander Wang and H&M was (fiiiiiiinally) revealed in full this AM, it seems like it’s an aesthetic that’s here to stay.
The collection, which will be available starting November 6, features undisguised athletic pieces designed to be as #OOTD-worthy as they are workout-ready. WANG-branded cropped sweatshirts, mesh-paneled leggings, scuba dresses (our fave) and bralettes are standouts in the largely black and gray line.
Accessories stay in that same arena: beanies, duffle bags, tube socks and even a yoga mat round out the gym-to-nightclub vibe. And it’s one that, while hyper-styled, you should seriously consider when you’re buying these pieces. True, you could break out the apparel one piece at a time like you do with any separates, but these aren’t just any separates. Consider this apparel a uniform and yourself, a player on Team Wang. Trust us, it’s hard to not show team spirit in head-to-toe sweats with Rihanna as your first round draft pick and literally everyone else in the fashion set on your bench.
So ‘fess up: which pieces are you intent on snatching up? Tell us which looks you’ll be wearing this fall in the comments below.
