Made Us Look: Spell Out Your Name in SHELVES!
If you’re anything like us, you love plastering your name and/or initials on anything and everything. Especially when it comes to home decor. While label makers are great, there are definitely more creative (and subtle) ways to leave your mark. Luckily for us — and Scandinavian design lovers — Brooklyn-based design team CHIAOZZA has the perfect solution: The Alphabet Frame.
These beyond beautiful shelving displays are all handmade from wood and painted with acrylic paint. You can display small objects or books on these playful shelves, although they’re pretty much a piece of artwork in itself, so it’s totally acceptable to hang ‘em up bare. They’re also easy to install on any wall — simply hang on a nail.
Each 16-inch-tall letter of the alphabet can be customized to your liking, as you can suggest colors for your letters. They cost $200 and you can buy them on Etsy in a trio ($600), which is great if you have three kids or if you want to display your initials… or if you just really, really love the first letter of your name. These are so freakin’ awesome, we wouldn’t mind splurging on shelves to spell out our entire moniker.
