Back-to-school essentials, work-to-weekend dresses and crazy-colorful basics. Those are the types of clothes we’ve come to expect to see on the racks at Target (and they’re largely to blame for our shopping trips never just resulting in a basket full of Green Works cleaners). Even designer collaborations fit into the Red Bullseye’s peppy vibe — just with a bit more POW! But the latest style line from luxury brand Altuzarra breaks the mold completely, making the mass retailer’s red and white aisles feel like the most high-end boutique to ever hit your local shopping center.
The 50-piece collection features rich fall hues, luxe patterns (snake skin!) and plush fabrics in silhouettes that could only be described as sexy. The boudoir-style dresses, velvet two-piece suits and pencil skirts with thigh-high slits (+ the over-the-knee boots you’ll NEED to wear with ’em), all look in line with what you’d expect to see in the pages of glossy September issues. But this being Target, it comes without the Vogue-level price tags. Every piece in Altuzarra for Target is less than $100 — even those structured trench coats — and we expect basics like the contrast cuff button ups, sheer blouses and slinky scarves to be on the lower-middle end of the $18-$90 spectrum.
Feeling completely seduced? Yeah, us too! Then follow suit and mark your cals for September 14 when the lavish collection will be available in stores and online. We’re setting our alarms extra early so we’ll be fully shopped and back in bed in A-branded intimates (lace mask included!) before the sun comes up.
Will you be lining up for this new high-fashion collab? Which Target designer line has been your all-time favorite (or is this one it?). Tell us in the comments below.
