Amazon’s Latest Home Collection Is Like a More Convenient (and Affordable) West Elm
It was only a matter of time. Now, while you’re sitting around buying everything else for your life from Amazon, you can throw a stylish new couch into your cart too. Yep, Amazon is officially in the furniture business, and its new Rivet line has us, well… riveted. It’s filled with sleek, mid-century modern pieces that look a lot like those you’d find in West Elm or in Target’s Project 62 furniture line, but with all the perks and convenience of Amazon. Scroll down to take a look.
Sold exclusively on Amazon, the line comes with free shipping for Prime members and a one-year guarantee. You can even return items for up to 30 days at no cost to you. So if that chair or couch isn’t as comfy as it looks, you can send it right back. Prices aren’t dirt cheap, but they’re competitive. This Rivet Farr Lotus Accent Chair, for example, upholstered in an aqua fabric, is $649. Sofas start around $800 and max out at around $2000 for sectionals.
Their new line also offers furnishings for every room of the house. You can snap up industrial lighting, wall art, neutral rugs, and more — everything you need to furnish your pad is just a few clicks away.
Rivet touts its small-space solutions, which appear to be designed with city dwellers in mind. If that’s not your jam, they also launched Stone & Beam which is more modern farmhouse style (à la Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper).
So if you’ve been dragging your heels to get your place in shape, you’re pretty much out of excuses. Decorating your space is now as easy as ordering books.
