America Ferrera Just Made Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Fans MAJORLY Excited
We love Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants as much today as we did when it was first released way back in 2005 (not to mention the 2008 sequel). And while we eagerly await the third installment of the film franchise, three out of the four stars happen to be busy with babies (yep, Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn are all mamas now). Though this may mean that plans have been paused, that doesn’t mean that our hopes for a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 3 have been completely dashed. In fact, America Ferrera has something to say about the sitch that will make fans MAJORLY excited.
Honored with the Ally for Equality Award at last night’s Human Rights Campaign gala, America Ferrera told E! that working with her gals on Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 3 would be “amazing.” And what does that mean for the movie? Ferrera explained, “It’s an idea and a conversation. I love my girls. We’re very much a part of each other’s lives and if the movie happens it would be a great thing.” Um, YEAH!
She added that because the four “made a decision to love and support each other off-screen and onscreen” (which we could NOT love more), she can state for a fact that the friends “would love to get paid to hang out with each other. That would be wonderful.”
Now we just have to wonder what kind of pants the ladies are wearing these days and where those slacks might take ‘em.
