These 2023 Concerts Have Already Emptied Our Bank Accounts

2023 concerts illustration with tickets sunglasses and disco ball

Now that live music has been revived from its COVID-induced hibernation, we've been enjoying taking friends and partners out to see live shows. We can finally hear the tunes that we've been blasting on our playlists out in the real world. It's such a joy to sing and dance along to the music, meet new people, and witness our fave artists bring the energy in person. The vibrant buzz that concerts deliver is truly incomparable, and the festival fashion and concert style is also fun to take in as well. Concerts are especially more enjoyable if one of our favorite artists are performing, and there are so many of them coming to our city this year (*cries in empty bank account*). Check out just a few of the tours and 2023 concerts we are looking forward to the most this year!

Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour

Music and fashion icon Beyoncé announced her 2023 Renaissance Tour on February 1 with an absolutely jaw-dropping Instagram post. The subsequent aftermath and joyful panic has our timelines going crazy. We loved her latest album too much to not withdrawal some money for a ticket. Even if we have to sit in the nosebleeds, it’ll be all worth it for Queen Bey.

The Re:SET Concert Series

The Re:SET Concert Series is most definitely the most unique show on our 2023 concert schedule, and for good reason. Appearing in twelve US cities, the series presents a group of our most-loved artists at the moment. Some of the talent playing across the country this summer includes: Boygenius, Steve Lacy, James Blake, and Toro y Moi, who we would’ve immediately got tickets for if they were playing a headline show on their own. We just can’t miss this in our city, since the artists present will be forming a powerhouse, fun-filled show!

P!NK's Summer Carnival Tour

Since we were basically raised on classic girl jams like “So What” and “Raise Your Glass”, you best believe you can catch us at P!NK’s 2023 shows. She’s a total powerhouse vocally, not to mention a strong, beautiful woman we can always look up to. We also can’t wait to see which styles she’ll rock on stage, since she’s always pioneered her own, unique personal style.

Weyes Blood

Weyes Blood’s 2023 tour kicks off on February 22 in the US, and we’ve already secured our spot at one of her shows. The iconic sad girl ballad, “It's Not Just Me, It's Everybody” hasn't left our heads since its release, and seeing her ethereal self perform it live is something we need to witness. She's also joining Phoenix and Beck on their Summer Odyssey Tour, which will make for an unforgettable experience. Now, it’s just time to await the tour date so we can revel in her beauty.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour

We realize queen Taylor has broken the ticket system and already sold out the majority of US stadiums for her Eras Tour, but just because you didn't get tickets doesn't mean you can’t enjoy the shows. We anxiously await the countless videos, pictures and TikToks (because you know the mega fans will be posting) we’ll be seeing this year during her iconic tour, post-Taylor’s Versions. If you were lucky enough to get tickets (and we’ll pretend we aren't jealous), this is obviously the #1 live show to look forward to in 2023.

Coachella 2023

Though it’s not just a single show, Coachella 2023 is one of our most anticipated live music events this year. Not only are the headliners amazing, (hello, Frank Ocean, where have you been hiding?) there are countless other artists that will be there. Remi Wolf, Rosalía, Charli XCX, Kaytranada and Domi & JD Beck are just a few of many talents we’re keeping our eyes on this year. And though it's an investment, being able to experience the music is going to be worth it.

Kali Uchis' Red Moon In Venus Tour

There's not a day where miss Kali doesn't cross our minds, and we can't complain about that. Kali Uchis is touring the US this year for her Red Moon in Venus Tour, bringing her beauty and encapsulating performance to tons of cities. It's time to start studying her discography, from summer tune "Telepatía" to her new song, "I Wish You Roses."

Big Thief's Summer Shows

Big Thief's style has always kept us feeling comforted. The group's unique songwriting style at a live show is not to be missed, which is why we've got one their summer shows lined up for our 2023. Being able to listen to the wistful sounds of songs like "Change" against a warm summer backdrop will just complete the season.

More Shows We're Looking Forward To

If we learned anything from the Great Ticketmaster Fiasco of 2022 (complete with Senators quoting lyrics to each other during the ticket platform's legal hearing?), is that it's way too hard to get concert tickets these days. For popular artists like Taylor Swift, ticket-selling platforms have so many hoops to jump through and qualifications to meet that it's easy to miss a concert, even if you're a mega-fan.

But thanks to these resell sites, Taylor Swift fans around the country (affectionally called "Swifties") are connecting with one another and making sure that tickets are sold for face value instead of an upcharge — even if it's the day of the show. While you brush up on the latest Taylor Swift theories, and read the Emily Henry book that matches the vibe of your favorite Taylor Swift album, check out these social media accounts that can help you score your own tickets to the Eras Tourin 2024.

Here's how to get Taylor Swift concert tickets before the Eras Tour ends on December 8, 2024.

How much are Eras Tour tickets normally?

While a variety of the resale tickets on larger platforms are in the thousands, there are plenty of fan-to-fan resales for under $1k! But the good news is Rolling Stone reports ticket prices have actually dropped in the last day and you can find some for under $700.

When is the Eras Tour over?

Kate Green/Getty Images

The Eras Tour ends on December 8, so if you're wondering "How many dates are left on the Eras tour?" — there are only three! This weekend, she'll be at the BC Place from December 6 through the 8.

When will Taylor Swift go on tour again?

Kate Green/Getty Images

Whoa there, the Eras Tour isn't even done yet! But as a Swiftie myself, I understand how sad it is when a tour comes to an end, and the anticipation around seeing Taylor onstage again. We don't have an update on future tours just yet, but thanks to the Eras Tour book, we do know there's something new around the corner. After all, Taylor ends with "See you in the next era."

And with her feature directorial debut, Reputation (Taylor's Version), Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version), and a potential twelfth album, it's time to buckle up and lock in Swifties! It looks like we're just getting started.

How long is a Taylor Swift concert?

John Medina/Getty Images

Taylor Swift's portion of an Eras Tour concert is three hours long, but there are openers too! In total, you'll be in the venue for around five hours. For my concert day (the stadium is over an hour from my home), I started getting ready at 10am, and left around noon to accommodate public transportation, traffic, and lines. I was in my seat at exactly 6:30!

Is Taylor Swift having a concert in Miami?

Kate Green/Getty Images

Yes, the final leg of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour kicks off with her Miami shows on October 18! She'll be at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami from October 18 until October 20.

Taylor herself posted a video to Instagram with the caption, "Back in the office… 😎" in honor of the concert. We can't wait to see what tricks she has up her sleeve (maybe a Reputation (Taylor's Version)announcement?)

Who is opening Eras Tour 2024?

Theo Wargo/Getty Images for iHeartRadio

Sabrina Carpenter opened for Taylor Swift at the Australia shows in February and March 2024, then Paramore opened for the summer shows in Europe. Gracie Abrams is the fall opener in Canada and the final US dates!

Every Gilmore Girls fan knows that Luke and Lorelai were always endgame. Despite the fact they had to watch each other get into different relationships (while I love Max, I'll never be able to stomach the way Christopher acts ugh). But there's one moment in an early Gilmore Girls episode that teases Luke and Lorelai getting married, and even though I've watched it countless times I never caught it before!

Here's that Luke and Lorelai wedding detail you probably missed in Gilmore Girls season 2.

Lorelai teased her wedding date way before 'A Year in the Life'

@dianaathome Caught on my 11523rd rewatch 🤯 #gilmoregirls#gilmoregirlstiktok @valeriescateyescream ♬ original sound - Diana @ Home

Gilmore Girls season 2, episode 3, "Red Light on the Wedding Night" opens with Lorelai and Rory tasting Fran's cakes at Weston's Bakery ahead of Lorelai's wedding to Max. And when Fran insists the girls stay to figure out exactly which cake flavor they like the best, sticking firm to the idea that there's nothing more important than your wedding day, Lorelai doesn't bat an eye when she says, "Well, it ain't Guy Fawkes Day." And TBH, Fran's confused response is exactly how I felt the first time I watched this episode.

We all know Lorelai gets cold feet when she realizes she's not actually in love with Max and bails on him before the wedding. After all, it's definitely more memorable than Lorelai's joke, which I've always taken to be a throwaway line (she really does have a random sense of humor). That is, until @dianaathome on Tiktok pointed out that Guy Fawkes Day, a British holiday celebrating the failed Gunpowder Plot that happened in 1605, takes place on November 5 — the same day as Luke and Lorelai's wedding in A Year in the Life.

I can't believe I never caught this! And I'm not the only one. "I don't know if I'm more impressed that someone snuck this in or that you found it!" one user commented, while another says, "It is Helen Pai and Dave Rygalski's anniversary. [Luke and Lorelai's] original wedding date June 3rd is Helen Pai's birthday!" (Helen Pai is the real-life, albeit loose, inspiration for Lane Kim!)

Now, while this is a super fun connection to find, a lot of Gilmore Girls viewers are realizing just how much they dislike Lorelai's behavior in the actual scene (as in, eating all the cake knowing Sookie was already preparing one). And it's sparked a ton of conversation.

"I felt so bad for [Fran]! She put all the effort and make all those adorable and tasty cakes and the two of them are like “Hehe screw ethics we get to eat free cake!”since Sooki was just going to make one for free," one Reddit user says. "Maybe it’s the service industry in me talking but I can’t get over how annoyed I would be."

Another goes so far as to say this scene is why they "I like to think this is the reason she wouldn’t sell the Dragonfly to Lorelai & Sookie. Revenge."

If Fran's cake tasting really was free, then eating her out of house and home just for fun is definitely not cool, Lorelai. (Although I still think it's not as unrealistic as her showing up to Chilton in a tee and shorts).

Did you catch this Gilmore Girls Easter egg the first time around? Let us know on Facebook!

From announcing her tenth album Midnights during an acceptance speech to breaking ticket-selling records to gearing up for her feature film directorial debut, Taylor Swift continues to surprise us. And that includes her Eras Tour, which kicked off in Glendale, Arizona on March 17, 2023.

At one of her Texas shows, she surprised the audience by swapping a song on the setlist for something she had never performed live. "You think you can just go online, you think you can just scroll and know the setlist, you think you can just come prepared," she said onstage. "Let it be said about the Eras Tour: we're tricksy."

In addition to her self-proclaimed "setlist hi-jinx," every night of the tour has seen at least two surprise songs. And some fans have seen even more since Taylor started doing mash-ups, a move which means the surprise song segment can have as many songs as she wants!

All in all, even if your favorite song didn't make the original setlist, you might still get to hear it (even if you're streaming the concert on TikTok). While we relisten to The Tortured Poets Department (and wait for Reputation (Taylor's Version)) here's everything she's played on the tour.

Chloe Williams/Brit + Co

One of Taylor's most recent mash-ups, “The Prophecy" & "This Love,” is one of her most emotional yet because of one very specific lyric change. Instead of singing "The Prophecy" as written, asking why she seems to be destined to be alone, she blended the lyrics with the ethereal, romantic "This Love" to proclaim how her new romance with the KC Chiefs' Travis Kelce has changed everything.

"These hands had to let it go free / and it changed the prophecy," she sang during the Eras Tour surprise songs. I'm so emotional!!!!

Does anyone sing Taylor Swift's Eras Tour surprise songs with her?

Mike Coppola/Getty Images for iHeartRadio

Taylor Swift will occasionally bring out her opener to sing the surprise songs with her, like she did with Sabrina Carpenter in Sydney, Australia! After crazy weather preventer Sabrina from performing her set at the beginning of the concert, Taylor brought her out for a medley of "White Horse" from Fearless (Taylor's Version) and "Coney Island" from Evermore.

How does Taylor Swift choose surprise songs?

Chloe Williams/Brit + Co

It seems that Taylor Swift's surprise song choices are somewhat last minute and based on what she wants to play, but we're thinking that two of her songs from Houston are more than meets the eye — er, more than meets the ear?

Twitter users recently brought up Speak Now (Taylor's Version) when images of Taylor filming in Liverpool went viral. The other two people in the photos appear to be Joey King and Taylor Lautner, who both played a role in the original Speak Now: Joey King was featured in the "Mean" music video and Taylor Lautner is the subject of

And we're talking about Speak Now (Taylor's Version) again after the April 22 concert because of her surprise songs. After all, "A Place In This World" (which is featured in Joey King's Ramona and Beezus) and "Today Was A Fairytale" (which is a part of Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner's Valentine's Day) feels very intentional. Turns out, we were right because she brought Joey and Taylor onstage during the Speak Now (Taylor's Version) launch party to premiere the music video!

In addition to playing requests from her openers during the surprise song segment, Taylor seems to choose songs based on her celebrity attendees. The Summer I Turned Pretty's Jenny Han and Lola Tung attended the May 27 show, where Taylor played "False God," which was featured in season one.

And during her last performance in LA, Taylor Swift chose "New Romantics" from 1989 and "New Year's Day" from reputation. This is very telling because for one, "New Romantics" was the only song from 1989 that she hadn't sung yet, and it came right after the 1989 (Taylor's Version) announcement! And based on this frame from the "Karma" music video, we might be getting reputation TV after 1989 TV. So "New Year's Day" was the perfect follow-up!

November 19 and 20, at the end of Taylor Swift's time in Rio de Janeiro, she played two songs from Reputation: "Dancing With Our Hands Tied" and "So It Goes..." (both of which are two of my all-time favorite Taylor songs and are very under-appreciated). This leaves "I Did Something Bad" as the final Reputation surprise song, and Swifties are convinced we'll get the announcement before the end of November. Fans also pointed out both "Me!" and "So It Goes..." feature a 1,2,3 countdown in the lyrics — and there are only three shows left before Taylor takes another break. It's the perfect time for an announcement if you ask me!

Did you know the colors you are surrounded with can enhance your mood and energy? Think about the color palette in your closet right now. What colors are you most drawn to? Before you freak out if black or gray are your go-to colors for your daily wear (guilty!) maybe after reading this, it will inspire you to step out of your comfort zone and try to work with new colors. What if I tell you that your astrological sign has a designated color palette to support your journey?

Color therapy, or “chromotherapy,” can supplement your well-being. Integrating astrology will also help you pinpoint the colors you are most attracted to and how to become more in tune with yourself. Astrology is a fantastic modality for gauging self-acceptance while also becoming your best self, and color therapy is the therapeutic means to rebalance and power up your goals.

Working with the colors assigned to your zodiac sign can support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Read on to learn how color therapy works and which color palette best suits your zodiac sign!

Here's how to make color therapy work for your zodiac sign — and feel good doing it!

What is color therapy?

Helena Lopes

Color therapy is a holistic, non-invasive modality used for the body. Historical figures such as Pythagoras (circa 2,500 years ago) applied “color light” therapeutically, while “color halls” were used as a means of treatment in ancient Egypt, China, and India. The modern medical pioneer patron of color therapy was Niels Finsen of Denmark in 1877. He discovered that visible light was how ultraviolet or red light energy could heal wounds, bacterial infections, or scars. Sounds familiar? In this present, infrared light therapy is used for pain relief, improved sleep, inflammation, facials, detoxes, and more. Knowing this, you can see why color and light restores our mind, body, and emotional needs.

There are many ways in which you can work best with color therapy. To implement physical changes, you can update your selection of colors in your clothing, nail colors, makeup palette, or home decor. For the mind and emotional system, you can work with colors through visualization practices like art, meditation, or a color therapy lamp.

How Can Color Therapy and Astrology Work Together?

Color therapy works by frequency or wavelengths of colors, which can have a physiological or psychological impact on our well-being. Using appropriate colors guided by your zodiac sign can rebalance or harmonize your body’s energy centers. How can color therapy integrate with your zodiac sign? It begins by knowing and working with your Sun sign, granting you more confidence and understanding regarding your direction. It extends our overall vitality and spreads endless radiance in our lives. It fuels our well-being and emits light wherever it touches in the birth chart. In principle, our Sun sign is our destination point, our identity. Now, the Sun Sign is where we can reach that higher level of understanding about our process and how we will experience fulfillment in this life. Incorporating color therapy guided by astrology can help you obtain confidence, and when you feel balanced, you make sound choices.

How Colors Align With Zodiac Signs

Brit + Co

Observing the astrological signs, they are all categorized within the elemental values. Starting with fire, the signs Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius are placed within this element. These signs hold precedence over the esoteric realm of spirit as they are meant to initiate, inspire, and teach. Fire tones are within the spectrum of golds, reds, and oranges.

The signs Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn reside within the earthy realm. They are supportive, detailed, and persevering in nature. The earth element enables humanity to take a firm stance involving patience or consistency. Deep greens, grays, and navy are colors that hold a grounded energy for these signs.

The signs Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius inhabit the air element. Those who hold this element strongly have the skill to circulate a constant flow of ideas, remain stimulated, and effectively communicate. Air energy guides humanity in the exchange of information, negotiation, and evolution. For clarity, the colors that best support these signs are yellows, pastel blues, or electric blues.

Ending with Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces, these signs embody the water element. Natives with a strong water element are receptive to others' feelings and can be intuitive. They can also conjure creativity, withstand intensity, and dive deep into the world of dreams. Colors such as purples, deep reds, or soft greens can help these signs invoke self-love and confidence.

Energetic Healing Visualization Technique

Mikhail Nilov

  1. Position yourself comfortably or sit in a lotus position. Place your left hand over your heart area.
  2. Take a deep breath through your nose, then exhale slowly through your mouth. With each breath, feel your body becoming more relaxed.
  3. Focus on the soles of your feet and imagine an energetic pull grounding you, anchoring you in the present moment.
  4. Take another deep breath, feeling a nurturing energy rising from the ground, reaching up to the soles of your feet. Allow this energy to gently move upward, relaxing and energizing your body—feet, calves, thighs, core, shoulders, arms, neck, face, and head.
  5. Imagine a bright, glowing light in the sky above you. This light represents your Higher Self.
  6. See the light spiraling down toward you, entering through the crown of your head and flowing through your body. As it moves, it changes into a vibrant color that resonates with you.
  7. Take another deep breath and allow the colored light to fill your core center. Visualize it growing brighter and expanding with each breath, filling your entire body.
  8. Imagine the light forming a dome or egg-like shape around your body, extending outward, cleansing your physical and energetic space.
  9. Release any tensions, worries, or negative energy, visualizing them fading away into the ground. Trust the process of transformation.
  10. Continue this visualization as long as you need. When you feel light and neutral, place your hands in a prayer position and silently offer thanks.
  11. Visualize the light around you returning to its source, and when ready, gently open your eyes.

This practice can be done 1-2 times daily, ideally in the morning or before bedtime.
