Adults Are Disneybounding to Get Around This Strict Disney Parks Rule

Even though we’re *technically* adults now, we’re always down for an awesome adventure at one of the magical Disney Parks (especially since Disney World got a whole lot boozier last year too, so… yeah). But while Walt Disney himself originally said that Disneyland is supposed to be a place both kiddos and adults can enjoy equally, there’s still one rule that keeps us grown ups from truly embracing our inner child. According to the Disney website, guests over 14 years old are not allowed to wear costumes at any of the Disney Parks.

We totally understand why Disney officials would create a rule like this (nobody wants their child going up to a total stranger dressed as Tinkerbell and thinking she’s their favorite character IRL), but it’s still a big bummer for those looking to showcase their creativity and broadcast their Disney spirit during a magical vacation. To sneak around this unfortunate rule while respecting its intent, a bunch of extremely creative Disney fans decided to create a phenomenon they called Disneybounding — AKA using normal clothes and accessories from your closet to give the impression of a character without going into full cosplay mode. Because we loved the idea so much, we decided to showcase some of the best recent Disneybounds we could find on Instagram.

1. Belle: Using simply a denim dress and a long-sleeve white tee, a young Disney fan completely transforms into this beloved Disney character just in time for the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast.

2. Minnie Mouse: A pair of gorgeous kicks, an iconic polka-dot dress, and matching Minnie ears make this Disneybound as sweet as can be.

3. Perdita and Pongo: The classic 101 Dalmatians gets a Disney Parks upgrade with these two stunning ladies rocking some killer polka dots and matching collars… er, we mean chokers.

4. Gus-Gus: A yellow turtleneck and a sweet teal headband transforms this stylish chick into our favorite Disney mouse. We agree, Brynne: Gus was totally the real hero of Cinderella.

5. Mad Hatter: We’re mad for this adorable Alice in Wonderland Disneybound from Briana. Seriously, can we wear this colorful #OOTD every day of the week please?!

6. Gaston and Lefou: This gender-bending Disneybound of Beauty and the Beast characters is definitely one of the best we’ve seen all week. (Eating five dozen eggs before you leave for the parks is encouraged but not required.)

7. Ellie: If you haven’t already fallen head over heels for this sweet Up character, maybe an adorable Disneybound will change your mind. Plus, we love that this look is super-simple to create with the clothes that you already have in your closet.

8. The Beast: This outfit is so stylin’ that it*actually* makes us want to burst out into song (“Tale As Old As Time,” obviously) and re-watch the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast in theaters. You go, girl!

Would you consider Disneybounding on your next magical vacation? Tweet us by mentioning @BritandCo.

The live-action Snow White hits theaters March 21, but the movie's already started plenty of conversations. Actress Rachel Zegler went viral for her comments at the 2022 D23 convention, where she said the original cartoon was dated — and that their version of the iconic character "is not going to be saved by the prince, and she's not going to be dreaming about true love," as she toldVariety.

"She’s going to be dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be and that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave and true," she continues. Okay, I totally understand where she's coming from, but the internet responded with an insane amount of backlash, calling the new project "toxic" and even sending Rachel death threats. Um, definitely not cool. Well, after clarifying she was never asking viewers to choose between leadership and romance, Rachel Zegler finally just spoke on all the drama.

Here's what Rachel Zegler had to say about all the live-action Snow White drama.

Rachel Zegler calls 'Snow White' an "honor."

In an interview with Vogue Mexico, Rachel Zegler opened up about Disney's live-action Snow White, and all the controversy following that initial 2022 interview. “I interpret people’s feelings about this film as passion for it and what an honor to be able to be a part of something that people are so passionate about," she says. "We’re not always going to have the same feelings as everyone around us and all we can do is give our best.”

“It’s really important for audiences to know that Disney has found this beautiful, delicate balance between taking the animated classic that everyone knows and loves from 1937, and at the same time introducing it to this new generation,” she continues. “Her superpower is her heart, there’s no supernatural power that Snow White possesses beyond her love for humanity, for all living creatures and her fundamental belief that there’s goodness in everything, that’s something I really think the world could use more of."

Good is exactly the word I would use to describe Rachel's past characters; every single one is kind, loving, and empathetic — and dreams that the world can be a better place. Snow White is a fitting next step in her filmography.

Rachel Zegler points out how the princess she resonated with as a child was Belle because “she had brown hair and it was hard to find someone who looked like us in these types of movies."

She's hoping this iteration of Snow White will open up a whole new world (oops, wrong movie) for girls who don't often see themselves in leading roles. “Now I see what a beautiful experience it was for little Black girls around the world to see Halle [Bailey] play Ariel in The Little Mermaid,” she says.

“I hope that through my own narrative in my films, I can also show the world what I believe in. The fact that West Side Story was my first film project and that it was a story about migration from Puerto Rico to New York, I think that was a statement of intent more than anything else,” she continues, adding she wants to “do everything I can to work with more women, because I think it makes an incredible difference in film production.”

This princess's future is bright and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper are historically private when it comes to the ins-and-outs of their relationship, but Gigi just gave us a peak behind the curtain in a recent interview with Vogue. Gigi gave some rare details on their "very romantic" relationship, and she finally revealed how she actually met the Silver Linings Playbook actor. Here's everything we found out!

Scroll to find out how Gigi Hadid met Bradley Cooper!

Gigi told Vogue that she and Bradley met during a birthday party for one of their mutual friend's children — sounds pretty normal, right? I mean, so far as normal gets when two major celebrities show up to the same party. But still, Gigi deems it normal.

“You want to give yourself a normal experience of dating, and even for my friends who aren’t public figures, that’s hard. Where do you go? And, what? You just start talking to people?" she said. "And then there’s another added layer of privacy and security. You want to believe that people are going to have your back and not call TMZ or go on Deuxmoi or whatever, but you just don’t know.”

Since meeting, Gigi said she and Bradley are "very romantic and happy" — something she definitely values in her relationship. “I think just getting to the point where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential, and then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve…and you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be," she explained. "I just feel really lucky. Yeah, lucky’s the word."

And at the end of the day, Gigi said that Bradley gives her "so much" encouragement and belief. She said, “For those people you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself."

We love to see a mature, supportive, adult relationship like this thrive! Here's to seeing what's next for these two love birds!

It's out with the old, in with the new at Walt Disney World this year! After expanding EPCOT to include Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, as well as adding Tiana's Bayou Adventure to the Magic Kingdom, the next park to get a refresh is Animal Kingdom.

The last time Disney's Animal Kingdom got an exciting refresh was with the addition of Pandora, AKA the world of Avatar, in 2017. So, let's find out what's leaving — and what's coming next — at Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom in 2025!

Scroll to find out which Walt Disney World attraction is closing in March 2025!

Walt Disney World

"It's Tough to Be a Bug!" will officially close "permanently" on March 17, 2025, according to Walt Disney World. The iconic attraction is leaving after nearly three decades and is set to be replaced by a new 3D show, "Zootopia: Better Zoogether!" in the winter.

Situated in the Tree of Life Theater, located in Animal Kingdom, "It's Tough to Be a Bug!" first opened on April 22, 1998. Inspired by A Bug's Life, the animated Pixar film, this attraction is a 4D experience that has received mixed reviews.

One TripAdvisor review says, "Not really worth the wait for how short the show is. A little scary, but some cute effects with the steam and water. A couple kids were crying." However, another review called the attraction "brilliant" with "totally unexpected laughs."

Parkgoers wear bug-eye glasses and watch as Flik navigates bug life in 4D. You'll sense creepy crawlies on the ground, you'll smell a stink bug, and watch as the bugs prove how tough it is to be — you guessed it — a bug!

The Summer I Turned Pretty fans, we finally have an update on our favorite show! Prime Video just announced that season 3, starring Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, and Gavin Casalegno will be coming in July — and that this season (which has 3 extra episodes, FYI!) will be the show's final season. But while fans weren't too surprised by the announcement (Jenny Han only wrote three books, after all), there's one detail of the official season 3 poster that has TV fans in a tizzy.

Keep reading for a breakdown of the craziest The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 theory yet.

'The Summer I Turned Pretty' fans can't wait to return to Cousins

The official TSITP account posted the poster for season 3 on March 7, confirming the next episodes were dropping in July. "Summer is just a season away," the caption reads. "The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 premieres this July on Prime Video."

And fans immediately flooded the comments cheering for Team Conrad or Team Jeremiah, saying everything from "Prepares to defend Conrad for one last summer" to "WHERE ARE ALL THE JELLY SUPORTERS COME ON GUYS WE NEED TO STAND UP FOR WHATS RIGHT."

Even Spotify's Instagram picked a side by commenting, "team conrad we have WAITED for this day."

But some eagle-eyed fans picked up on one detail about the poster that's different than season 1 and 2: Belly's by herself.

@thesummeriturnedpretty

We'll always have summer ☀️

♬ original sound - the summer i turned pretty

While the poster for The Summer I Turned Pretty season 1 features Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah with the summer house in the background, and the main poster for season 2 features the trio sitting on the beach, The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 poster features Belly standing by herself in front of a bush of hydrangeas. Because, y'all, Belly is in bloom.

She's not the same girl she was at the start of the series — and even if she still has a ton of questions about life (don't we all?) she has way more confidence. She's not lost.

And could the fact Belly stands alone on the poster be a clue to the end of the series? "this poster screams belly choosing herself in the end and I’m all here for it!" one X user tweeted.

@_cooper_koch_ The summer I turned pretty season 3 Belly and Conrad 😍 #foryou#pourtoi#fyp#edit#tiktok#viral#thesummeriturnedpretty#belly#conradfisher @Christopher Briney ♬ Gorgeous - Taylor Swift

Although I will point out Belly's yellow dress actually made its rounds on social media last year when videos of Lola Tung and Christopher Briney filming together went viral. So we'll have to tune in this July to figure out who Belly ends up with for sure ;).
