This $28 Amazon Clothing Rack Is So Convenient For Organizing My Clothes

inexpensive clothing rack

The best thing I've invested in since being a renter is a movable and affordable clothing rack. I'm one of those people who refuses to measure things only to act surprised when something is bigger than I thought (i.e., the sectional sofa in my living room). Since I'm slowly learning my lesson about what's feasible and makes sense in an apartment, I'm happy to share how much the Sywhitta Clothing Rack on Wheels has changed my laundry routine and then some.

In case you need a little weekend shopping inspo, be sure to add this Amazon clothing rack to your cart for quick shipping!

Prior to buying this clothing rack, I had a larger one that featured three shelves and matched my former office's aesthetic. Unfortunately, it was damaged when we moved to our current apartment, so I took it as a sign that I needed to downsize.

After doing a ton of research on Amazon, I came across my current clothing rack — a simple, yet aesthetically-pleasing design that would match my white and gold desk perfectly!

Besides that, this clothing rack makes it 10x easier for me to wash clothes because I'm able to truly see what I want to wear for the next week or so. If you would've taken a look at my closet before I decided to find this more organized solution, you honestly would've screamed. There were clothes, shoes, and accessories covering every inch of it...to the point I'd often get overwhelmed by own my stuff. That used to make laundry day a pain in the butt, but I've put that behind me with this clothing rack!

But aside from the aesthetic, more obvious functionality, and the price (let's be real), the cute little features are truly what sold me on it more than anything. Let's get into the features and how they help me truly keep it together during laundry day.

My Favorite Features on Amazon Clothing Rack

Side Hooks

My hat obsession is real, so the first thing I knew I needed in a clothing rack is an area to store the ones I typically reach for on a routine basis. Though this clothing rack doesn't have built-in shelves on the side, it does feature two hooks that you can hang your lightweight coats, bags, or hats on.

Depending on my mood, I alternate between which of them I'll hang on the hooks. My goal is to never place more than 50 pounds on each hook, so if I have a coat on one side, I'll keep a hat and a bag on the other hook. Organization aside, with these hooks, I don't have to scramble to look for the coat I've been wearing regularly when I can easily see it hanging on the clothing rack.

Though it's under $30, the hooks on the clothing rack are pretty sturdy and haven't popped off in the year I've had it.

Sturdiness level: 5 out of 5

Two Anti-Slip Beads

My former clothing rack didn't have anti-slip beads ,so I'm going to be 100% honest when I say this: I don't think they really help me minimize the chaos of laundry day. They're nice if you're afraid your clothes are going to slide up and down your clothing rack, but I don't feel like they do anything that's groundbreaking.

Rating: 2 out of 5

Bottom Shelf

This clothing rack only has one shelf, so I use it to home the heels I tend to wear the most. I actually have a separate shoe rack that stores my sneakers and sandals, but it was mandatary to have something with a bit of extra storage — I can't help it that Carrie Bradshaw taught me how to love a shoe! Jokes aside, I'd say that the wire port of the bottom shelf isn't as sturdy as what I'm used to, but it's ability to hold platform heels upright and well definitely says a lot.

Before I actually started placing my overflow of shoes here, I used the bottom shelf as a place to store my dirty clothes so I'd know what needed to be washed. I'd fold them so they weren't thrown haphazardly in my laundry basket so I could see what was being washed in case I wanted to do an outfit repeat (no judgement!).

Rating: 4 out of 5

Sywhitta Clothing Rack on Wheels

Overall, I think this is a great clothing rack that budget and space-friendly! It's not going to give you all the features that a more expensive one will, but don't count it out! It'll help you keep track of your favorite clothes and accessories while making laundry day less chaotic.

My Lady Jane is one of the most fun TV shows of 2024. It's perfect for fans of The Buccaneers and Jane Austen. It's nothing but romance, fantasy, and really beautiful costumes. Plus the fact that Edward Bluemel & Emily Bader are MAGIC together is just the cherry on top. I had a blast watching every single episode, and so did the rest of the internet! I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share these hilarious reactions to My Lady Jane.

I was definitely not expecting Guildford to be an Ethian but it did add a certain Shrek-like quality to the series.

Enemies to lovers fans, our time is now!

People love to complain FOR NO REASON.

A prince and an outspoken, confident woman fall for each other? Horses? Capes and swords and daggers? Say no more.

Tension, excellent writing, lovable characters. Oh we are SO back!

It's always a good day when we can watch My Lady Jane.

Thankfully we can rewatch the show as many times as we want. And yet, I still want more!

Little sisters truly make the world go round.

If I'm honest, every episode had me swooning.

Oh to quit our day jobs and wander a magical countryside instead.

I'm truly convinced My Lady Jane has altered my brain chemistry!

This series truly had me feeling ALL the emotions...

...including pain.

Dare I say, Jane and Guildford saved romance.

Some Gilmore Girls fans relate to Lorelai and Rory, and all of us have a favorite when it comes to Jess, Dean, and Logan (or Tristan). But if I'm honest, my favorite Gilmore Girls character isn't a Gilmore at all — it's Kirk! Not only is he funny, dedicated, and memorable, but he makes every single scene he's in better. Which, in turn, makes the town of Stars Hollow better, too!

He's Hilarious

Lorelai Gilmore might be known for her quick wit, but if you ask me, no one holds a candle to Kirk when it comes to hilarity. He just seems to be a magnet for chaos (poor thing), whether it be dressing up for Stars Hollow's Festival of the Living Art or running around naked because of a night terror. But even the simplest task (like asking Ms. Patty to stop snacking before paying for her groceries) becomes funny when it's left up to Kirk.

He Isn't Afraid Of Reinvention

By the time we meet Kirk in Gilmore Girls, he's had at least 15,000 jobs (according to Kirk himself), and he isn't slowing down anytime soon. Rather than feeling unhappy with a lack of consistency, it seems our favorite Renaissance man thrives on trying a new career every 2 days. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

He Doesn't Take Himself Too Seriously...

Another reason Kirk from Gilmore Girls does so well with new experiences is that he doesn't take himself too seriously. He's unafraid to stand out from the crowd, and even if he gets nervous or awkward around other people, he has an insane amount of confidence. He is himself at all times, and throughout all seven seasons, he never changes for anyone. Now THAT's a great lesson from the show!

...But He Takes Everything Around Him Seriously

However, that being said, Kirk definitely takes everything around him very, very seriously. He treats every assignment, mission, and job like it's life or death. While it seems to grate on everyone's (cough, Luke's) nerves, it's really just a sign that Kirk cares about doing his best.

He Gives 100 Percent

There is no one — and I mean NO ONE — doing it like Kirk. Dressing up in costumes for town traditions, joining musicals, creating his short film. He never goes halfway on anything, and at the end of the day, it just makes Stars Hollow better than ever.
