Ariana Grande Is Rocking SILVER Hair and It’s Outta This World

In Hollywood, it seems like celebs change their hair every other week, but sans for a brief flirtation with platinum blonde and the addition of bangs to her famous ponytail, Ariana Grande’s look has remained pretty consistent in recent years. Until now, that is!

The 24-year-old just took to Instagram to unveil her most shocking tress transformation yet with a silver-haired selfie we had to see to believe.

btw i (it's grey)

A post shared by Ariana Grande (@arianagrande) on

“BTW I (it’s gray),” the singer wrote of her new ‘do.

While it’s entirely possible that the look is courtesy of a wig — Grande has been plenty vocal about the fact that she wears hairpieces as a result of serious damage from years of bleaching and dyeing her hair red for her role on the Nickelodean show Sam & Cat — her hairstylist, Chris Appleton, also took to Instagram to take credit for her new look.

“LOVE the silver vibes on @arianagrande,” captioned her shared snap, along with another on which he wrote, “Who loves @arianagrande silver hair as much as me?”

Considering that Appleton is also the man behind Kim Kardashian West’s recent silvery platinum transformation, if there’s anyone who could safely pull off the dye job on Grande, it would be him.

Whether the new look is permanent or otherwise, however, it’s definitely stunning! Looking gorge, Ari.

I've been thinking about how much money I spent on things I didn't love — like overrated beauty finds — and I have a few hair products that met their untimely fate in my garbage. I wanted to love them because of the brand, but some of them were unnecessary based on price or the formula not agreeing with my coils. Regardless, there are a handful of products I definitely wouldn't buy again this year. And while some of them may work for you, here are all the overrated hair products I just cannot recommend.

Scroll to see all the overrated hair products I definitely regret buying.

1. Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil

This is one of those hair products where the formula actually works well. I loved how silky it felt on my hands and it provided my hair with amazing shine. However, I also receive the same effect from Carol's Daughter Goddess Strength 7 Oil Blend... without dishing out $30.

My hair's not super picky about oils I use, so I personally don't feel like I need to spend a certain amount just because one brand name is more popular than another.

Sephora

2. Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Super Moisture Conditioner

I purchased this conditioner and fell in love with how soft it made my hair. All it took was two dime size amounts worked into my strands for my hair to let me know it truly appreciated it. The problem is that it costs $39.00! It was definitely a splurge at the time I bought it, but I can't see myself spending that amount every other month.

My alternative is 4U by Tia Moisturizing Conditioner.

3. dae Mirage Mist Leave-In Conditioner

This leave-in conditioner left me wanting more because my hair absolutely hated it. It's meant for all hair types, but it just didn't do anything for mine. Instead of reducing frizz and dryness, my hair actually felt hard after using it. Before you think it was user error, I purposely didn't put anything else on my hair after washing it.

I don't think I need to say it, but my little test resulted in this being tossed in the trash. I'll just stick to my 4U by Tia Curl Refresher Mist Hair Spray if I want an extra boost of hydration and shine.

4. Wavytalk Professional Hair Dryer With Diffuser

This is going to be controversial because I've been talking about spending too much money on styling and conditioning products, but I actually prefer the T3 Aire 360 Multi-Styler & Blowout System over this. I have thick natural hair that felt like it was being yanked whenever I used this dryer's comb attachment. I've experienced postpartum hair loss so I'd like to keep as many strands on my head as possible.

Personally, the T3 Aire Multi-Styler & Blowout System cuts my drying time in half while also providing a soothing experience.

Sephora

Overrated Fragrance — Yes, I'm Serious

5. Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliation Shampoo

Am I being picky about something like fragrance? Why yes, I am. I'm fully aware that I have allergies and asthma so it doesn't take much for something to trigger an itchy nose or claustrophobic airwaves. Also, at this point I know I probably should just stay away from Briogeo as a whole.

I digress... I tried this shampoo and should've known better than to use something that reminds me of the charcoal face wash I use sometimes. It also smells like it which is a huge turn-off for me. Hard pass on this!

Sephora

6. Gisou Honey Infused Hair Perfume — Floral Edition

I think a part of me liked wasting money last year because this hair perfume gave me the ick last year. I don't even like floral scents so I'm not sure why I decided this purchase would be a great idea. I'm sure someone will love the blend of honey, wild rose, and vanilla, but I did not.

Kate Middleton has been top of mind for a lot of people over the last year after the princess announced in March 2024 she was battling cancer. "The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown," she shared in a video update. "This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved." And in honor of Kate's 43rd birthday, Prince William posted the sweetest tribute honoring her strength and perseverance.

Here's what Prince William had to say in Kate Middleton's birthday tribute.

Prince William celebrates "incredible" Kate Middleton's "strength."

Kate Middleton turned 43 on January 9, 2025. In honor of the big day, Prince William took to Instagram to celebrate, praising his "incredible" wife.

"To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable," he says in the post. "George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you. W."

And well wishers flooded the comments. "Happy Birthday Catherine, wishing you a wonderful year ahead surrounded by family and loved ones," one user says, while another adds, "Happy Birthday Princess of Wales! What a gorgeous photo. Wishing you a wonderful year 😍 xx"

And the tribute comes after revealing Kate was doing "amazing" following her cancer battle.

The birthday celebration comes after the prince shared an update on Kate in early November that had us all breathing a sigh of relief. “She's doing really well thanks. And hopefully, she is watching tonight. So cheering me on," he said before the Earthshot Prize awards (via People). “She's been amazing this whole this whole year. I know she will be really keen to see tonight be a success."

"From what I understand, Catherine is doing very well," royal author Robert Jobson added in an interview withHello!that same week. "She is back training at the gym and doing all the things she wanted to do."

Emma Stone made waves when she showed up to the A Real Pain premiere in September with a wig (fans are convinced she shaved her head for Yorgos Lanthimos' new movie Bugonia) — but she made an even bigger statement when she showed up to the 2025 Golden Globes with a chic new pixie cut! The bold hair choice is equal parts chic and edgy, and basically confirms 2025 will be a year of vintage style. I'm totally here for it!

Emma Stone paired her new 'do with a strapless, bright red, custom Louis Vuitton dress, complete with a belt featuring a bow detail. Considering red was THE color of 2024, I think this was the perfect shade to welcome the new year, and it complements her auburn hair and natural lip super nicely!

"Emma Stone’s gorgeous Nutmeg Pixie! 💃We wanted to keep her natural and close to her own color, and just like natural hair, cameras and lighting will change how its photographed," hairstylist Tracey Cunningham says on Instagram. "I glossed her with @schwarzkopfusa vibrance allover 8-0/10 + 7-55/10 + 7-57/10 + 9-7/10 with 6 vol for 20 mins and then on top I layered another gloss 0-77+0-55+0-77 with 6 vol for 5 mins. And afterwards she washed it out to with @olaplex No 4 and No 5!"

Emma Stone reportedly shaved her head for her new movie.

At the premiere of A Real Pain, Emma Stone showed off the edge of her wig to Kieran Culkin's wife Jazz Charton, but it's not the first time in 2024 Emma's hair (or lack thereof) was the center of attention.

The actress was seen walking around London in August of 2024 with a beanie hiding her buzzcut, and all the secrecy has really got me wondering — will her hair in the movie be a totally new color? Or will it feature funky patterns? Only time will tell.

What kind of hair does Emma Stone have?

Despite being known for her red hair, Emma Stone is actually a natural blonde. "Weirdly, I identify myself with
red hair a bit more," she told Elle Canada in 2013. "I felt like myself for a while when I first dyed it blond, but the grass is always greener, you know? – or always redder or blonder on the other side...Studios are paying to change it, so it’s a fantasy to have all these different hair colours."

“When I dyed my hair red again, my best friend since I was 11 walked into my apartment and said, ‘You know, you look funnier as a redhead — you looked like such a b—ch when you were blonde,’” Emma joked in a 2011 interview with NJ.com.

What do you think of Emma Stone's new pixie cut? It wasn't the only memorable moment from the awards show, either. Demi Moore's acceptance speech brought us to tears and Zendaya showed off her new engagement ring! 2025 is already off to a very good start.

After almost 17 years of marriage, Jessica Alba just officially split from her husband, Cash Warren. TMZ reported that the actress and film producer have been separated for a while now, and this article seems to make everything even more official. Here's everything we know so far about the breakup — including how long it seems like the pair's actually been split up.

Here's everything we know about Jessica Alba's split from husband, Cash Warren.

On January 8, 2025, sources spilled to TMZ about Jessica Alba and Cash Warren's separation. The sources shared that the couple is allegedly "moving forward" with a divorce, so unfortunately it doesn't seem like this split is a short-term solution.

TMZreported that both Jessica and have gone in public without wedding rings recently — Jessica as recent as the Golden Globes afterparties on January 5, 2025. Apparently, one of the last times the two were spotted publicly was back in November 2024. Outside of that, the couple celebrated their son's birthday at Universal Studios together in January, but it's unclear how official the separation was at that point.

According to PEOPLE, Jessica and Cash got engaged in 2007, after meeting on the set of Fantastic Four back in 2004. They got married and stayed together for 16 years, welcoming three children to their family: Honor (16), Haven (13), and Hayes (7).

Back in 2021, Alba told PEOPLE that they tend to "over-communicate" in order to best support each other and their different needs. She said that they don't have a "secret" to making it work — they "just need to check in with each other."

Whatever happens next, we hope that Jessica, Cash, and their kids are able to find peace and happiness throughout this major transition.
