The fabulously feminine style has been popping up everywhere lately, from the racks at Zara to the #OOTD pics dotting your Insta feed. Equal parts elegant and of-the-moment, they’re incredibly versatile. Whether you have a penchant for gingham prints or are a stickler for solids, the 11 options below are guaranteed to get you noticed this season.

The absolute last thing I want to do in the summer heat is put pants on, so I'm opting for white midi skirts when I need to look cute and presentable, but still wanna be comfy. It's honestly the easiest outfit combo, too — I just add a top or a tee, throw on some sandals, and voila! I've got a chic look that's breathable and summer-ready. To help you put together your own breezy outfits, I picked out the best white midi skirts, from Bridgerton-esque tiered skirts to essential satin skirts! You're definitely going to want to add these to your cart...

Nordstrom

Halogen Midi Skirt

This midi skirt is a bit more elevated, so you can wear it to formal events or dinners this summer — the options are endless! This pick is also on sale, down from $99 to $69, and we love a bargain! I would style this with dainty sandals like above and a silk tank! Trés chic!

Nordstrom

Nordstrom Tiered Maxi Skirt

A tiered maxi skirt is the key to unlocking the boho chic or cottagecore vibe that's so popular this summer! You can wear these with sneakers like above for a more casual look, or just throw on a pair of flip flops for the beach.

(🔥 Hot tip: I like to sometimes wear these as a tube dress to switch it up!)

Abercrombie

Abercrombie Scalloped Straight Skirt

This scalloped, linen midi is super flattering with its straight fit! It's also a very elegant style that I'm super into right now. The bonus? It's actually on sale for $49.99, and it comes in purple and black as well! This one is sure to sell out quickly!

Amazon

Amazon Button Midi Skirt

Amazon offers so many great summer pieces, but for a much more affordable price point than most! The buttoned up style is definitely on trend at the moments, and who can really beat this bargain? They offer this best-seller in multiple styles as well, so you can peruse the site for different options!

Zara

Zara Midi Skirt

This cute skirt is 100% cotton, which we love for breathability! Plus the pleats at the bottom give some extra volume, making this skirt a standout in your closet! This way, you're able to dress it up for the evening and dress it down for the day. Versatility is key for an everyday essential like midi skirts!

Zara

Zara Satin Skirt

Everyone needs at least one midi satin or silk skirt in their wardrobe, and I happen to love this one from Zara! I have it, and genuinely wear it so many different ways and to many different occasions. I love how it can be styled effortlessly with a white tee and sandals like above! And for under $50, it's a great deal to unlock multiple new outfit combinations.

Old Navy

Old Navy Crinkle Maxi Skirt

Another fabulous under $30 option that's on sale at Old Navy! This crinkle skirt will be great to throw on during a hot, summer day to make you look elevated, but still comfortable. I love wearing skirts like this on casual days because I can easily work in them, and then make my way to dinner in the evening right after. Another 10/10 option!

Banana Republic

Banana Republic Smocked Waist

Smocked waist skirts are great because they can be really flattering around the hip and waist area, especially when worn with tanks or crop tops like above. This one is available at Banana Republic Factory, which means it's super discounted from its original price — love! This will be a summer go-to for sure!

Nordstrom

Farm Rio Lace Skirt

Umm, did someone say cottagecorebecause this definitely fits the aesthetic! It looks straight out of Pride and Prejudice with the stunning crochet and lace detailing. Since it's on sale (and Farm Rio hardly ever goes on sale), I think I'm going to have to grab this one myself for the ultimate Mamma Mia summer!

No matter what kind of day you're having, Marissa Cooper's having a worse one. Mischa Barton's The O.C. character went through the ringer during the first three seasons of the teen drama (remember how she overdosed in Tijuana...and also saw her parents post-hookup after their divorce?).

And during her time on The O.C., Mischa Barton struggled with drug and alcohol abuse. She was arrested for a DUI in 2007 and eventually received involuntary psychiatric hospitalization in 2009 after allegedly threatening to end her own life. And in a new interview, Peter Gallagher (who played Sandy Cohen on the show) says he's "just so grateful" for "the fact that she’s still alive."

  • Mischa Barton starred alongside Peter Gallagher in The O.C. from 2003-2006.
  • The actress has revealed the "trauma" of being a star at that point in her life.
  • Peter recently opened up about how he's thankful "she’s still alive."

The O.C. follows Ryan Atwood, who moves in with the Cohens after getting kicked out of his mom's house, and starts a relationship with Marissa shortly after. While Peter Gallagher played Adam Brody's TV dad instead of Mischa's, Sandy was a definitely father figure for Marissa, and it seems like Peter felt that same responsibility off camera.

"I’ve always felt very protective of her," Peter told The Independent. "First fame is toxic. First fame can kill you. She was 16 years old when she started working with us, so just the fact that she’s still alive, I’m just so grateful."

“You can go to therapy every day for the rest of your life,” Mischa said in a 2023 interview with The Sunday Times. “There’s just a certain amount of trauma [from] all that I went through, particularly in my early twenties, that just doesn’t go away overnight.”

Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage revealed that season 1 overdose not only served as a cliffhanger, but gave “network executives an escape hatch on a performer they had been wary about” (via People). But Mischa Barton got her big break, becoming "how people knew the show," and (thankfully) Marissa recovered — only to die after a car crash in season 3.

As hard as that season 3 ending is to watch, Mischa did have the opportunity to watch it with Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke for the first time on their rewatch podcast. "It needed to be a thing, after everything she's been through, but if it's here I'll watch it with you," Mischa says.

"I couldn't do it, Mischa, I couldn't do it," Rachel adds. "But I'm going to do it if you're going to do it."

Mischa says even though being written off the show "was a little bit of a bummer," it wasn't necessarily a surprise. "The character was just doing too much," she told Vanity Fairin 2023. "And I think they ran out of places for her to go. It was not the best thing in the world, [but] there wasn’t much you could do at that point. It was whether she could sail off into the sunset, or die. At that point, I guess it’s better to have the more dramatic ending.”

Denim skirts are a closet staple, but they're having a little extra moment in the sun right now. Some of us were forced to wear denim maxi skirts to church, so the idea of them being considered overtly fashionable has been shocking to say the least — but I'm starting to come around...suddenly, finding them among my favorite jeans sparks joy. And though I'm a midi skirt girl through-and-through, the magic of a denim skirt is that you can style them from mini to maxi (if you dare). Searching for your version of the perfect denim skirt? You've come to the right place!

Mini Denim Skirts

Abrand Jeans Pleated Denim Mini Skirt

Challengers was one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year, and quickly inspired the tenniscore trend we're seeing left and right lately. What better way to kick off our denim skirts roundup than with a mini pleated design?

It's made with comfort denim, has a low-rise fit, and a raw hem that creates a superbly edgy look — with a hint of tennis-clad class.

Future Collective with Jeneè Naylor Belted Button-Front Denim Mini Skirt

I didn't know denim skirts could look so chic until I saw influencer Jeneè Naylor's take on them! This button-front design is great for the stylish individual who wants to wear something that doesn't feel super causal.

It's designed with midweight and recycled cotton along with a belt that allows you adjust the fit of the skirt's waistline.

Levi's A-Line Button Front Mini Skirt

Sometimes you just need a simple A-line skirt that feel perfect for those ultra casual days. Prior to welcoming midi denim skirts with welcome arms, I loved wearing A-line skirts. They seemed to elongate my more petite frame, so I kept them in rotation!

This skirt is easy to wash (thank goodness for machine-wash care instructions), and has the classic front-button I'll never get tired of seeing.

Anthropologie Pilcro Denim Mini Skirt

In case there's a chance that you're tired of blue wash denim, let this neutral cream-colored skirt elevate whatever look you're going for. It's mostly made of cotton with a few additions like elastane and polyester, making it a super cute choice for those really sunny days.

Midi Denim Skirts

Hudson Reconstructed Skirt

This 5-star rated denim skirt is the mother of all midi skirts, if you're looking for a longer length. It's unlined, has five pockets, and a front slit that won't threaten to expose your goodies. This skirt is the perfect universal piece that goes with everything from graphic t-shirts to button-up blouses.

Levi's Side Slit Skirt — Artist Divided

Levi's obviously had to make the list more than once because there's no denying that this brand truly lives up to its iconic denim offerings. I've had the same pair of Levi's jeans for almost eight years, so believe me when I saw you need this side slit piece if you want a durable denim skirt. It has a 90's inspired fit that will help complete your "I wish I could've been an extra on the set of She's All That" dreams.

Pistola Denim Alice Midi Skirt

This is another brand whose denim is immaculate. If you're not a fan of the way denim usually fits, you'll rejoice knowing that this midi skirt is beyond comfortable. The front slit is also at a comfortable level that you'll enjoy and the wash of the skirt has that vintage feel you'll come to appreciate. Plus, this is actually Pistola's best selling denim skirt, so that should speak for itself too.

Banana Republic Pia Denim Midi Skirt

Want something edgy and feminine? Go for Banana Republic's dark wash denim midi skirt. It's designed in Italy, so you'll be getting a skirt that has amazing quality with all that European style we know and love.

I personally love the panel seams that are evenly placed on the skirt which creates an irresistible depth of dimension that makes me want to buy it. Also, there are lovely belt loops included so you can add a contrasting taupe or cream belt to it!

Maxi Denim Skirts

NA-KD Slit Detailed Maxi Denim Skirt (Light Blue)

I love that this skirt has a classic feel that whispers sophistication. Now that I think about it, mini and midi denim skirts always needed a big sister, and this maxi has no problem taking that role on.

Wear it with a slightly oversized blazer and a pair of mules for that relaxed business casual look that can get through a day at the office. It's not recommended for people under 5'5" to wear maxi skirts, but a quick trip to a tailor can quickly debunk that idea! 😚

MANGO Long Denim Skirt

You still need a truly casual option when it comes to a maxi denim skirt — which is the perfect job for this little MANGO number. It has a true relaxed fit and wash that makes it easy for you to wear this on the days you don't have to clock into work.

Similar to the outfit above, all you need is a colorful tank top and pair of sandals you love to complete your lazy Friday OOTD.

Madewell Denim Carpenter Maxi Skirt

Want to be stylish while you present your latest project at work? Slip into Madewell's carpenter maxi skirt that's all business and takes nice cue from the '70s.

You'll love strutting around in this silhouette and may even feel like it's your lucky skirt when you totally rock your work day.

Princess Polly Deneuve Denim Maxi Skirt Skirt Mid Wash

This is a skirt that'll easily take you from frolicking outside during summer to having Halloween-themed date nights during fall. The mid wash feels like something you'll reach for during the last few weeks of August and even during October while the four pockets gives you plenty of space to put your lip oils in.

Former Disney Channel star Dylan Sprouse and model Barbara Palvin are certainly living the sweet life after tying the knot in Palvin's native Hungary. The couple, who have been together for nearly five years, have always been pretty low-key — except for the occasional and undeniably adorable Instagram post (and a stunning wedding!). We are simply ~obsessed~ with this celebrity couple, especially after they pulled out all the stops for their couple's Halloween costume. Keep scrolling to see some of their best moments :').

For Halloween Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin stunned as the Phantom and Christine from Phantom of the Opera. Dylan wore a mask and a black cape, while Barbara wore a beautiful white dress. While the costume is obviously a nod to the musical, it also totally reminds us of their day as bride and groom.

"In Sleep He Sang to Me," Barbara said in a post, quoting the musical's titular number. "@dylansprouse my forever Phantom."

Who did Dylan Sprouse marry?

On the couple's wedding day (July 15, 2023), Barbara wore a Vivienne Westwood wedding gown to celebrate her Hungarian nuptials, bringing together their nearest and dearest for an intimate(-ish) celebration. Barbara and Dylan tied the knot on her parent's property, which conveniently doubles as an event venue, with plans to host an larger wedding in California in the fall.

"This past weekend was supposed to be an intimate event, but we ended up having 115 guests in the end because there are a lot of people we care about, and we wanted them all to be there," Barbara told Vogue.

When did Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin get engaged?

Barbara Palvin on Instagram: "♥️"

After months of speculation surrounding the couple's engagement, Dylan and Barbara confirmed their engagement in conversation with Sprouse's twin brother, actor Cole Sprouse, for V Magazine in June, sharing that they got engaged last September.

"We didn't necessarily feel the need to be fully transparent with the public about that aspect of our engagement," Dylan said. "What we wanted to do with Stephen [Gan, V editor-in-chief] and the V team is make something that was kind of tongue-in-cheek about the nature of private versus public. We're playing with the idea of perception."

Barbara noted that the lovebirds wanted to announce the news "on our time," adding, "When some people leaked the information that we got engaged, our PR team was like, 'Hey, so you guys should do maybe a post about it or talk to this magazine or talk to that magazine…' That really annoyed me because I knew we were building this story up. So, I'm very happy that we ended up doing it our way."

According to People, the couple met back in 2017 after a party when the Suite Life On Deck star slid into the model’s DMs (and as they say, the rest is history). The duo made their relationship Instagram official back in 2018 with Barbara’s sweet birthday tribute for Dylan’s 26th birthday.

Let’s be real here for a second though, we all knew they were endgame the minute Dylan went above and beyond to support Barbara at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show that same year (remember this viral video?). Three days after the fashion show, the Hungarian model told Vogue Australia that she hadn’t had a boyfriend in six years, but had now found “the perfect guy” in Dylan (we aren’t crying, you are).

How old are Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse?

Barbara Palvin was born on October 8, 1993, making her 31 years old. Dylan Sprouse was born on August 4, 1992, meaning he's 32 years old. So there's only a one-year age gap between them!
