Audrey Hepburn’s Crazy Eyelash Trick Will Freak You Out

When it comes to unusual beauty tricks, we kind of thought we’d heard them all. We’ve used red lipstick to cover under-eye circles, baby powder to set makeup and we’ve even poured beer all over our hair for shinier, more luscious locks. But there is one old Hollywood hack that we’re just now hearing about, AND it’s one that was used by Ms. Audrey Hepburn herself.

Lauren first used an eyelash curler and applied two coats of mascara. Then she used a sewing pin near her eye’s waterline and “pulled the pin through to the top, separating each individual lash. This defines each lash and helps distribute the dark mascara pigment more evenly.” While the results look awesome on Lauren, we have to say that we’re wary about deliberately placing a sharp object so close to our eyes. If you tend to fall heavily on the clumsy side, here are a two other lash separating techniques that aren’t quite as risky.

1. Lift off Lash Comb ($10): Just like the pin (but a little bit less sharp) the metal bristles of this brush will work to separate those freshly coated lashes.

2. Disposable Mascara Wands ($7): Most of the clumps in your mascara come from build up on your mascara wand. To help get rid of them and add even more separation, apply your mascara like normal and then use a clean mascara wand (like one of these disposable ones) to get rid of any excess build-up.

Pretty Woman is an iconic movie, full stop — and almost nothing is more iconic than Julia Roberts and Richard Gere's spicy piano scene. You know the one. Well, Richard Gere just spilled on that sensual scene over 30 years later, and what he shared is pretty surprising! Here's what he had to say on the TODAY Showabout that moment!

Everything Richard Gere said about his iconic performance in Pretty Woman's piano scene!

If you don't exactly remember the scene, let me break it down for you. Edward Lewis (Richard Gere) is dressed to the nines, playing the piano in the hotel he's staying at. When Vivian (Julia Roberts) enters the scene, Edward dismisses the hotel staff so he can have the room alone with Vivian. She makes her way to him, he takes off her dress, and well...that piano becomes the scene of a very intimate moment between these two.

WELL, according to Richard, that scene was improvised completely. Shocked? Yeah, we were too.

Richard explained that he and director Gary Marshall were looking for ways to make Edward "a little more interesting" by chatting about what the character would do while he travels for work. It was Richard's idea that he would find a piano late at night to play while his only audience would be a cleaning guy or two.

They decided to run with the idea, and boom! We got one of the most memorable romance scenes of all time.

Not only was the entire scene improvised, but Richard also shared that he improvised the song he played as well. He even got a "composed by" credit for the tune! Sadly, when people ask him to play the song for them, he can't seem to remember what he made up! To him, he "just played."

We wish we could "just play" our way into the cinema zeitgeist forever like that! Bravo, Mr. Gere! 👏

Steven Spielberg a certified movie star-maker, but when he works with celebrities who are already established in their own right? The movie's sure to be a smash. ICYMI, Josh O'Connor (Challengers, Knives Out 3) and Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada, Oppenheimer) just joined Spielberg's newest movie from Universal, and I lost. My. Mind. I've been a fan of Josh's since before he was on The Crown in 2019, and as much as I'd like to gatekeep him, I'm thrilled to see him getting the accolades — and roles — he deserves.

Keep reading for everything you need to know about Steven Spielberg's new movie — and who's joining Josh O'Connor & Emily Blunt in the cast.

Steven Spielberg's new movie from Amblin and Universal is coming to theaters soon, but other than the release date (the movie's currently scheduled for May 15, 2026), we have, like, no information. If anyone was going to keep their scripts super top secret, it'd be Spielberg!

Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, we do know the movie will have sci-fi themes, and the story is from David Koepp, who worked on Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Josh O'Connor and Emily Blunt join names like Colin Firth, Colman Domingo, and Eve Hewson. (Colin, is this why you aren't in Bridget Jones 4? 🤨).

This movie cast is absolutely stacked and I'm already thinking about how it will play out against Christopher Nolan's new movie, which stars Zendaya, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Anne Hathaway, and Matt Damon and comes out in July of the same year. Slays upon slays. After watching some of worst movies of 2024, I'm counting down the days until May 2026.

I'm super excited to see Spielberg come back to the land of summer movies after films like West Side Story and The Fabelmans both hit theaters in December of their respective years. In case you somehow haven't seen Steven Spielberg's movies, I can't pass up the opportunity to recommend The Goonies, E.T., and The Color Purple, in addition to those December flicks. And the fact all of these hits were done by the same guy? Almost too good to be true.

What was your reaction when Josh O'Connor and Emily Blunt joined Steven Spielberg's new movie? Let us know in the comments, then tell us how you reacted when you found out Anne Hathaway would star in Colleen Hoover's Verity. (I'll let you in on a secret: I screamed).

Scream 6 was one of the hottest movies of 2023, and we've been looking forward to Scream 7 since the credits started rolling! Even though we won't see Melissa Barrera return, I'm super excited to see Neve Campbell return as Sidney Prescott — and it looks like in addition to Friends star Courteney Cox stepping back into Gale Weathers' shoes, we'll also be seeing a beloved Yellowstone universe star taking on a brand new role.

Is Sidney going to be in Scream 7?

Scream 7 Cast

Yes, Sidney Prescott will be in Scream 7! “Sidney Prescott is coming back!!!!” franchise lead Neve Campbell says on Instagram. “It’s always been such a blast and an honor to get to play Sidney in the ‘Scream’ movies. My appreciation for these films and for what they have meant to me, has never waned. I’m very happy and proud to say I’ve been asked, in the most respectful way, to bring Sidney back to the screen and I couldn’t be more thrilled.”

The actress was not involved in Scream 6 due to salary inequity. "As a woman I have had to work extremely hard in my career to establish my value, especially when it comes to ‘Scream,'" she told Variety ahead of the sixth movie's release. "I felt the offer that was presented to me did not equate to the value I have brought to the franchise."

Who else is in the cast of Scream 7?

Brownie Harris/Paramount Pictures

In addition to Neve Campbell, we'll see Isabel May (who you'll recognize from the Yellowstone prequels 1883 and 1923) appear as Neve's onscreen daughter. We could also see Courteney Cox reprise her role as Gale Weathers, via Variety.

However, we won't see onscreen sisters Melissa Barrera or Jenna Ortega in Scream 7. It was announced in November 2023 that Melissa would no longer star in the franchise following her posts on the Isreal-Hamas war, while Jenna's absence has been attributed to Wednesday season 2 scheduling conflicts.

Scream 7 Release Date

Scream 7 will hit theaters on February 27, 2026. This is an unexpectedly perfect release date because nothing sends a shiver down my spine like winter (and Ghostface of course).

Scream 7 Plot

We don't have an official plot for Scream 7 quite yet, but I'm feeling confident we'll see Sidney Prescott and (hopefully) Gale Weathers take down another Ghostface. Scream 6 co-writer Guy Busick has the sole writing credit on this new script, as well as Melissa Barrera's 2024 movieAbigail.

Is Scream 7 confirmed?

Brownie Harris/Paramount Pictures

Yes, Scream 7 is officially happening! After Scream 6 (which was released in March 2023) became the highest-grossing movie of the whole franchise, a sequel was announced in August of that year. Kevin Williamson, writer for the original 1996 Scream, will direct.
