‘The Bachelor’ Episode 3 Recap: Puppies, Wrestling, and Heartbreak

Let the games begin! This week’s episode of The Bachelor kicks the competition into high gear, with one ill-fated solo date and two only slightly better group dates that force the remaining women to put on a show — not just for Arie, but for actual crowds of people.

Bibiana and Krystal are still angry at each other after last week’s confrontation, so of course they’re both on group date number one, along with Maquel, Jacqueline, Lauren B., Tia, Marikh, and Bekah M. Their anger might actually come in handy for this date, though, because it involves them pretending to beat each other up in a ring. That’s right — it’s the Bachelor-GLOW crossover you never knew you needed. (Or just never needed, period.) Jacqueline very astutely observes that this might not be the best idea for a group of women who are already butting heads, but when has that ever stopped them before?

To aid the ladies in their challenge, producers have brought on two of the original GLOW wrestlers, Ursula Hayden, AKA Babe the Farmer’s Daughter, and Angelina Altishin, AKA Little Egypt. They are not impressed by the six bachelorettes — Angelina calls their attempts “pathetic” — but the hostility appears to be mutual, especially after the GLOW women make fun of Bibiana’s name at the expense of her mother. Bibiana is (rightfully) enraged, so she and Tia (who is upset about being yelled at by the wrestlers) take a much-needed break from the action. Ultimately, though, because they still want that group date rose, they get back in the ring.

The rest of the GLOB (Gorgeous Ladies of The Bachelor) show goes off mostly without a hitch, so Arie and the women celebrate with a little party. As per usual, everyone’s scrambling for a little one-on-one time, but Krystal grabs him first, which prompts some not-so-subtle side-eye from the other ladies. Bibiana even complains to Arie about it during their alone time — has that ever not backfired? — and in the end, he passes over both her and Krystal for the date rose, giving it to Bekah M. instead.

Arie’s wine country date with Lauren S. is up next, and it seems at first like it’s going to be a good one. They’re bonding over their early bedtimes and laughing a lot, but things take a turn for the super-uncomfortable at dinner. Lauren S. can’t stop talking — at one point she inexplicably mentions her mom’s eye infection? — and Arie is completely checked out. He’s literally just eating his steak and pretending to listen. And he’s not even pretending that well. She knows the date is going poorly, but the more she tries to save it, the worse it gets. Eventually, Arie picks up the date rose like he’s going to give it to her, only to tell her he can’t because he doesn’t see a future with her. Weird misdirect. She’s a little disappointed, but she also admits she’s not herself around him, so it’s probably for the best.

Time for group date number two! This one is a dog show, where the women — Ashley, Becca K., Caroline, Chelsea, Annaliese, and Jenna — have to train a group of dogs to sit and jump through hoops in what seems like 10 minutes. Annaliese, who broke down over a traumatic bumper car experience on last week’s group date, is struggling again this week, because of a traumatic experience with a dog when she was a kid, which the show REENACTS in faux flashback. (Is anyone else starting to think they’re just planning dates around her childhood traumas?)

She ends up with a pretty stinky job — scooping up poop — but the rest of the girls don’t fare much better. None of them can get the dogs to follow their commands, so they’re basically just walking around onstage in costumes and gesturing their hands in an attempt to distract the audience (and guest commentator Fred Willard, weirdly). At one point, a kid at the show just starts bawling, which pretty much sums up the entire experience. Chelsea ultimately gets the date rose, but the date itself goes in the “L” column.

Back at the mansion for the pre-rose ceremony cocktail party, Bibiana is setting up a romantic mini-date for her and Arie, complete with a bed and a telescope for stargazing. Before she can find him, though, he stumbles upon the setup with Lauren B., and then TURNS BIBIANA AWAY when she tries to interrupt them to tell him that they’re enjoying the date she planned. To add insult to injury, he invites both Chelsea and Bekah M. to join him (separately) on the bed, while Bibiana is still waiting in the wings. All of this could have been avoided, of course, if one of the people behind the scenes had given him a heads up, but then there wouldn’t be any unnecessary drama to watch on TV.

Meanwhile, Annaliese is freaking out because she’s one of the only people who hasn’t kissed Arie “Pillow Lips” Luyendyk Jr., so she pulls him aside and asks him to kiss her, to which he replies, “I just don’t think we’re there yet.” What he really means, though, is that they’ll never be there, so he sends Annaliese home before the rose ceremony. That means there’s just one more elimination coming, and Bibiana is the unlucky lady. Don’t worry, girl — there are bigger things ahead for you.

Reboots and rewatches are all the rage right now, and for good reason. They're nostaltic, they're cozy, and they really make me wish I was a teenager in the 00s. In addition to Scott Patterson saying he's "always hopeful" for Gilmore Girls to come back, Keri Russell just revealed how much she'd love to revisit Felicity, too!

  • Keri Russell reveals she'd "totally do" a Felicity reboot — on one condition.
  • Scott Foley also says "it would be really nice" to get the cast back together.
  • Felicity ran from 1998-2002 on The WB and is now available to stream on Hulu.

    Are they rebooting Felicity?

    youtube.com

    - YouTube

While promoting The Diplomat season 2, Keri Russell said she'd love to bring the series back if the story made sense. “I would totally do that if it was the right stuff,” she told E! News. “Mandy had a good pitch for it, actually. A really good pitch for, like… life wasn’t going great and, you know, didn’t work out. And she was supposed to be all these things. And then she bumps into someone…Never say never!"

In case you haven't seen the show (which ran from 1998-2002 and is available to stream on Hulu, FYI), Felicity follows Keri Russell's titular character, who's in for a rude awakening when she follows her high school crush to college in New York City. But once she's there, she realizes just how big the Big Apple really is.

The series also starred Scott Speedman as Ben Covington, Scott Foley as Noel Crane, Amy Jo Johnson as Julie Emrick, and Tangi Miller as Elena Tyler. Keri actually said they "all still talk all the time!”

“They’re like my total pals,” she says.

What else has the cast said about bringing Felicity back?

    Getty Images

Scott Foley told ET that he'd consider coming back for another installment of Felicity, even though he's been against a reboot in the past. "I had always said I wouldn't — you know, there's no reason to do anything," he said. "But just to be with them again, I think would be really nice... When we did the 20th reunion down in Texas at the [ATX Television Festival], we were onstage in a panel answering questions, and I missed being with them."

"I don't know if it could ever really happen, you know, Felicity was such a specific show at a specific time that took took place in a specific moment in people's lives," he continues. "And it's really hard to recapture — especially with the amount of gray going on right now."

In March, Greg Gunberg (who played Sean Blumberg) hinted that there'd be some "GIGANTIC Felicity News Coming VERY Soon."

So are we getting a Felicity reboot? It looks like, in Keri Russell's words, never say never!

Now that fall is officially in full swing, there’s a lot of seasonal traditions to look forward to, like apple picking, enjoying pumpkin spice lattes, or perfecting Taylor Swift’s famous chai sugar cookie recipe. But in recent years, a new Halloween trend has taken social media by storm – boo baskets. Whether you’re planning on crafting the perfect basket for a loved one, or you have no idea where to start, here is a guide that will help you get on the right track.

    What Are Boo Baskets?

    Reine Jalloul

Boo baskets are Halloween or fall-themed gift baskets typically filled with candy, seasonal decorations, and fun crafts that you can surprise your significant other with to celebrate the season. While videos of this trend usually show people giving their baskets to their “boo” (pun intended), it’s not limited to just your partner. You can also make one for your friends, your parents, your kids, or even your pets if you wanted to!

What Do You Put In a Boo Basket?

    Sarah Barna

Just about anything can go in a boo basket! If you’re creating a basket that’s specific to your loved one’s interests, the possibilities of what you can include are endless. But based on countless TikTok videos and Instagram reels posted about this trend, the general formula for a basket that I’ve noticed includes a cozy item, a mug, a fall-themed drink mix, snacks or candy, a stuffed animal, and (of course) a basket big enough to fit everything!

    First, The Basket

    Amazon

Technically, any big basket or container could be used to hold your boo basket items. However, if you’re the kind of person that likes to go all out when gift-giving, I would recommend a Halloween-themed basket like the Andemie Halloween Collapsible Organizer from Amazon. Not only does this basket come in multiple colors and patterns, you can easily flatten the basket and store it anywhere you want, so you can reuse it next fall.

Candles, Body Care, Sweaters & More … A Cozy Girl’s Galore!

    Cora Pursley

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to getting all relaxed and comfortable, especially on a chilly, rainy fall day. Personally, there are three essential elements to my lazy days – an oversized sweater, some gourmand scented body care, and a candle that makes my entire apartment smell like walking into a bakery. If this sounds like you, here are some of my favorites.

    Etsy

This sweater from the LoveStitchesCo shop on Etsy has quickly become a staple to my “lounging around” outfits this season, and for a good reason. For only $26, this sweater is made out of 100 percent cotton, has a wide size range available (S to 3XL), and can be customized to whatever color you’d like. Plus, the embroidered design is absolutely adorable; who doesn’t love ghost kittens?

    Sol de Janeiro

As the weather gets colder, many people (like myself) opt to swap their perfumes and scented lotions from fruity and tropical notes to warm and edible notes like vanilla, caramel, honey and chocolate. If you’re looking to spoil your boo basket recipient who likes these kinds of scents, Sol de Janeiro recently released a limited edition body cream in one of their best-sellers, Cheirosa 71. Fragrance notes of caramelized vanilla, white chocolate and toasted macadamia nut will have you smelling like a snack (literally), while moisturizing ingredients like macadamia seed oil and tucumã butter will keep your skin feeling silky smooth.

    Bath & Body Works

If you’re a candle lover, then you already know that the best place to find candles for every season is at none other than Bath & Body Works. Sure, there are plenty of pumpkin scented candles to try, but if you’re looking to include something in a boo basket that screams fall, Autumn Chai is the perfect option. This three-wick candle has notes of cinnamon chai, French vanilla, and caramel – a great combination if you’re looking for something cozy, but not too overwhelming.

    Drink Mixes

    Target

Hot chocolate is one of the quintessential cold weather beverages, but if you want to be more creative with your drink choice, Target’s Favorite Day brand has a spooky-themed hot cocoa mix that would be a great addition to your boo basket. One box comes with two cocoa mixes and a marshmallow confetti mix shaped like beakers you can find in a science laboratory, and when combined with warm milk, changes to an orange or green color. How cool is that?

And Of Course, A Mug To Match

    Target

You got the perfect fall drink for your boo, but what mug would go with it the best? At this stage, I think this is where you get something that is the most personable to your boo basket recipient. You could include a mug that matches their career or their favorite hobbies and interests. If you want to play it safe and stick with a Halloween theme, this 15 oz ghost mug from Target is spook-tacular!

    Plushies Make Everything Better

    Warmies

Who says that stuffed animals are just for kids? Not only are they fluffy and come in all shapes and sizes, giving a stuffed animal to your loved one is one of the best ways to show that you care about them. As a plushie connoisseur, my go-to pick for a boo basket would be any plush, like this pink llama from Warmies. Each cuddly buddy is lavender-scented and also serves as a microwaveable heating pad that can be used to relieve stress or soothe muscle aches and pains.

    Don’t Forget the Candy

    Target

No Halloween basket would be complete without candy! From chocolates to gummy worms and sour WarHeads, there are so many options to choose from that it can seem overwhelming to pick just one. And if your boo basket recipient has any dietary restrictions, it can be even more difficult to find something that fits that person’s needs. My twin sister has been vegan for almost five years, and before we both moved out from our parents’ house, these dark chocolate coconut bars from Unreal were a staple snack for the whole family. Not only are these bars certified vegan and gluten-free, each bar only contains three grams of sugar and three ingredients – coconut, cassava syrup and dark chocolate. As someone who isn’t vegan, trust me when I say that when you try these, you won’t want to go back to the name-brand chocolate.

This is not a drill: Netflix’s critically acclaimed series The Diplomat is returning for a third season! And how do we know this? Just days before the season two premiere, the streaming service announced that the popular political drama will be returning for a third installment — and we couldn’t be more excited! So, what’s next for Kate Wyler (Keri Russell)? Will she be able to catch the culprit behind the catastrophic explosion that took place in the middle of London? Is there a future for Kate and her husband, Hal Wyler (played by Rufus Sewell), who was injured in the explosion? Here is everything we know about The Diplomat season 3, including plot, cast, premiere date, trailer and more.

What is 'The Diplomat' Season 3 about?

    Netflix

Being that The Diplomat season two has yet to be released (FYI, the second installment premieres on October 31), we don’t know what the central plot for season three will be. But one thing we know for sure? “Season 3 flips the chessboard,” creator, showrunner, and executive producer Debora Cahn recently told Netflix’s TUDUM. And that’s not all: Cahn also revealed that The Diplomat season three finds Kate dealing with the “particular nightmare that is getting what you want.” OK, we will definitely be SAT.

When was 'The Diplomat' Season 3 confirmed?

    Netflix

Three weeks before The Diplomat season two premiere, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria officially confirmed that The Diplomat season three received the green light while on stage at the Bloomberg Screentime Conference in Los Angeles. Shortly after the news was revealed, The Diplomat creator Debora Cahn shared (per Variety), “After an amazing summer shooting in the U.K., we brought London home to NY.” She continued, “Best of both worlds—filming in Brooklyn. We love doing this. We’re so excited to get to keep going.” With so many TV show cancellations this year, we are so excited to see the continuation of Kate’s story in the U.K. Here’s to more adventures with our favorite diplomat!

Is 'The Diplomat' Season 3 currently in production?

    Netflix

We’re happy to confirm that yes it is! According to Netflix’s TUDUM, production for The Diplomat season 3 has officially begun in London and NYC.

When will 'The Diplomat' Season 3 premiere?

    Netflix

Here’s the thing…we don’t have an exact release date for The Diplomat season three at the moment. But given the fact The Diplomat season three has already started production, we speculate that the future installment may premiere sometime in 2025.

Who's in the cast for 'The Diplomat' Season 3?

    Getty Images for Netflix

If Kate Wyatt and her team survive the chaotic events of The Diplomat season two (fingers crossed!), we’re confident that the main cast will return for the third installment, which includes Russell as Kate, Sewell as Hal Wyler, as Ali Ahn as CIA Station Chief Eidra Park, Ato Essandoh as Kate’s Chief of Staff Stuart Hayford and Rory Kinnear as British Prime Minister Nicol Trowbridge.

Is there a trailer for 'The Diplomat' Season 3?

    Netflix

Currently, there is no trailer for The Diplomat season three. But when it’s released, you’ll be the first to know!

Where can I watch 'The Diplomat' Season 3?

    Netflix

Being that The Diplomat is a Netflix Original series, all new episodes will be available to watch on Netflix! But until then, The Diplomat season one is streaming right now on Netflix!

We're officially one week into Scorpio season — are you feeling it? Is your intuition heightened? Are you super sensitive and a bit more introverted? It’s a good time to slow down, feel your feelings, and tap into the inner wisdom of your soul. Scorpio is often misinterpreted, perhaps because this season coincides with Halloween, the decreasing daylight in the northern hemisphere, or simply Scorpio’s intensity and power. A key word for Scorpio is transformation, which is never easy.

Think of the caterpillar’s metamorphosis — its time in the cramped and dark cocoon. That primordial, gooey existence is anything but comfortable. Transformation requires time, a willingness to experience discomfort, and patience before emerging as a beautiful butterfly.

    Ajaila Walker

Scorpio is one of the healing signs in the zodiac, and while the Sun is in Scorpio, we can make great strides toward healing ourselves and helping others. There’s nothing superficial about Scorpio — it demands depth, wanting to uncover layers and expose what’s hiding. That’s why it’s a great time to focus on your inner world and subconscious mind. All forms of therapy are beneficial during Scorpio season, but psychotherapy is especially powerful if that's an option for you.

Eager to know what this transformational energy has to offer? Read on for your weekly horoscope to understand how this can impact your sun and rising sign!

Astrological Overview For Your Weekly Horoscope

    Eugene Lisyuk

The New Moon in Scorpio occurs on November 1 at 9 degrees of Scorpio. You'll want to check your birth chart to see where 9 degrees of Scorpio falls — this is the area of your life where you can experience transformation and growth. New Moons are powerful times to plant seeds for future growth, to dream and plan for the coming month. Take time to reflect on what truly matters during this period of darkness and inward focus.

    Yuliia Tretynychenko

Mars, the planet of action and determination, has been opposite Pluto, the planet of transformation, for months. Both Mars and Pluto co-rule Scorpio, creating an intense and volatile energy. This opposition becomes exact again on November 3 and 4. Use this energy to propel yourself in a new direction and honor your true self. Strength and focus can harness this intensity for personal breakthroughs, but be cautious in making impulsive decisions during this time — on the global stage, tensions may rise, and there could be heightened aggression.

    Sam Lion

Adding to this turbulent energy, Mercury, the planet of communication and learning, leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius on November 2. As Mercury exits Scorpio, it forms a beneficial trine to Mars and a sextile to Pluto. This is a powerful opportunity for words to contribute to healing, so take care in how you communicate. Be mindful of the power your words hold, especially as Sagittarius can be blunt and outspoken. While Mercury is in Sagittarius until January 9, focus on expanding your consciousness, learning new skills, and broadening your horizons.

Mercury entering your sign on November 2 invites expansion and learning. If you’ve been waiting to start a new project, learn a new skill, or expand your understanding of the universe, now is the time.
