With just a few days to go until Arie Luyendyk’s season of The Bachelor debuts on New Year’s Day, the folks behind the scenes are continuing to tease us with peeks at the action. The latest clips include a new nickname for Luyendyk, the man himself on one knee (!), and even… taxidermy?
Though the race car driver was deemed “The Kissing Bandit” during Emily Maynard’s Bachelorette season, it now looks like he’s earned himself a new title: Mr. Dreamy! Can he live up to the name? We’ll just have to watch and find out.

The fact that he’s the Bachelor is already a dream-come-true for many, including Luyendyk himself, who is “sorry, not sorry” about finally getting his chance to be the man in the middle of the romantic action.

He may have second thoughts about that when he gets into the thick of it, though. As we’re reminded in another clip, this isn’t a straightforward situation. Not only are there “four girls named Lauren, three with tears pourin’, two Beccas squealing, [and] one [who]’s got him kneeling,” but there’s also “sooo much craaazy!”

Then there’s 26-year-old Kendall, a taxidermy enthusiast, who explains, “I’ve never had a relationship over a year, but with taxidermy, I can keep it forever.”

We’ll be able to find out more about Kendall’s, um, hobby and the rest of the contestants’ quirks when Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor begins January 1 on ABC.
