Hello, Rose Lovers! We all know that for at least the new few months, Mondays are the best nights of the week. They suddenly are the nights where you gather all your girlfriends, get in your stretchy pants and pour wine while watching the “Most Dramatic Show Ever.” Yes, I am talking about The Bachelor. I’ve been a lover of The Bachelor franchise since Jason Mesnick’s season back in 2009. Being at Brit + Co, I’m definitely not the lone Bachelor fan (thank goodness). Not gonna lie, it’s really nice to discuss the “controversial” happenings on TV with these gals. We even have a Brit + Co Bachelor bracket going on, so wish me luck!
Anyway, thanks to this marvelous TV franchise, we now have a reason to love Mondays. If you’re a fan, you’re probably attending or even hosting Bachelor viewing parties each week. Today, we’re showing you how to host, as Chris Harrison would say, the Most Epic Viewing Party of All Time. Seriously, this party deserves a Neil Lane ring. Let’s get to it!
1. Rose Backdrop
This type and rose backdrop is necessary when watching The Bachelor, for obvious reasons. Just print out the letters of your favorite Bachelor-ism, cut them out and tape onto your wall. Use washi tape to stick silk roses around your phrase.
2. Pizza Roses
I will accept this rose.
Ingredients:
- package of pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- pepperoni
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Roll out dough to form a rectangle. Slice dough widthwise into 12 strips.
3. Spread pizza sauce onto each strip and sprinkle with cheese.
4. Place pepperoni, with the pepperonis slightly overlapping, down on the strips so that half of the pepperonis hang over the edge of the dough.
5. Roll up each strip into a tight roll. Place into greased muffin pan.
6. Bake until crust is golden brown, about 15-18 minutes. Serve warm.

3. Bachelor T-Shirts
Okay, we know this one is going pretty far… but it’s also really awesome. Part of what makes The Bachelor wonderful is how the show always repeats the same six phrases about a million times each season. Why not go all in this year and DIY t-shirts for you and your best viewing buddies. Just use iron-on letters and plain tees, and you’re good to go!
Ursula, Paige and Sarah (huge Bachelor fans) definitely loved the shirts. In fact, they kept them after the shoot was over!
And now… some viewing party eye candy!
To get through these next two hours, I’mma need some chocolatey sustenance.
Put your top Bachelor contestant picks on skewers for a super easy cake topper.
Chocolate platters are definitely the new cheese platter.
And, of course, the wine. It wouldn’t be The Bachelor without it.
Uh oh… looks like something dramatic just happened.
*Gasp!* Who will the First Impression Rose go to?
Ursula: Paige, you really intrigue me. Will you accept the First Impression Rose?
Paige: I’d be honored. You know I’m here for the right reasons.
Sarah: I thought Ursula and I had a real connection! Plus, doesn’t she see that Paige has a wedding ring on? Where’s my wine?
Just kidding — everyone gets a rose!
