This Bathhouse In NYC Is The Best Spa Experience I've Ever Had

Imagine sipping Champagne above a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, or indulging in a heavenly spa treatment with the Manhattan skyline in view. Even if your wallet can't quite stretch to a full-blown luxury getaway, sprinkling a touch of luxe into your travels can turn an ordinary trip into a memorable adventure. That idea sparked our new series, Flights of Fancy, where we take you along for a trip to the luxury experiences around the cities we adore.

It may be the greatest city in the world, but let’s be real: it can be extremely exhausting to live in — and visit — New York City. There are plenty of spas where you can snag a $300+ deep tissue massage, but that's not always practical. Instead of constantly carrying that tension for days (and weeks and months and years) to come, I finally took my self care needs over to Bathhouse Williamsburg for a spa day.

Bathhouse Williamsburg isn't exactly a spa. You won't get a facial — or even cucumbers on your eyes — there, but you'll find relaxation in so many other tangible ways. From their available array of amenities included in the day pass to the specific treatments like scrubs and massages, Bathhouse is perfect for taking a step back from a city that requires oh-so-many steps.

When did bathhouses start?

The earliest bathhouses originated around 10,000 B.C. — AKA the Neolithic Age — according to the BBC. While some bathhouses in earlier years were used for religious purposes, many were social hubs that superseded socioeconomics. Essentially, bathhouses were for everyone to come, cleanse, and calm down.

The bathhouses we know today are more about getting R&R, but their ancient predecessors were meant to literally bathe people. If you think about it, people didn’t have showers and bathtubs in their homes back in the B.C. times. Irrigation for farming didn’t even exist until 6,000 B.C., let alone plumbing that went to and from individual houses.

At these public bathhouses, people could wash the week off with the rest of their community. And while health and hygiene was key during baths, this was also a time that people could come together and socialize with each other — extremely similar to what I saw during my own bathhouse experience.

Are bathhouses still a thing?

Image via Bathhouse

Yes! There are multiple bathhouses in New York City to chooses from, let alone across the world.

What are the benefits of a bathhouse?

Image via Bathhouse

A bathhouse experience isn’t one-size-fits-all. There are many elements to a bathhouse — saunas, hot tubs, cold tubs, etc. — so each time you go could help with something else. Here’s a rundown of what goodness you may get at your own bathhouse visit.

Saunas

It’s no secret that saunas are highly sought after self care luxuries. Forbes reported that of course there are more typical benefits of saunas like relaxation and pain relief, you could also improve your hearth health, immune system, and respiratory system.

Hot Tubs

Like saunas, hot tubs are really peaceful environments that can put you at ease, the Cleveland Clinic noted that there are a lot of other wins to dipping your toes in this water. With regular visits to the hot tub, you could lower your blood pressure, improve the quality of your sleep, and ultimately improve your heart health (alongside other factors like exercise and diet).

Cold Plunges

Cold plunges and ice baths aren't anything new — you've probably seen Tiktokers and athletes alike sinking into an icy tub — but why? According to TODAY, cold plunges decrease inflammation, increase dopamine and endorphins, and speed up physical recovery after a workout or training.

Massages

Massages are more than a part your honeymoon package at the hotel spa — they have very real physical benefits. Alongside reducing overall stress and muscle tension, the Mayo Clinic states that massages can actually help improve your immune system as well!

Body Scrubs

Although your skin sheds dead cells naturally, sometimes the process could use a little speeding up — especially after cold, winter months. Healthline said that body scrubs can aid in moisturizer absorption, clogged pores, and uneven complexion. Specific benefits can vary depending on the ingredients of your scrub, so be sure to understand what you want to work on while you pick out your own at-home or at-spa scrubs.

Do you wear clothes in a bathhouse?

Image via Bathhouse

While the early bathhouses of yore were likely fully nude, people typically wear swimsuits in modern bathhouses. Depending on what you’re signed up for, you may want to consider wearing a two-piece swimsuit — this makes treatments like scrubs and such much easier and more accessible.

In typical Haley fashion, I was rushing to make my appointment. I huffed my way through the front door, and everything instantly slowed down. The bright, earthy reception area was exactly what I needed — real, down to earth, and above all...quiet. The hosts at the front desk checked me in, made sure I had my swimsuit, and made sure I understood the run down:

  1. Here are your towels.
  2. The locker room is around the corner and through those doors.
  3. No cell phones outside of the locker room and restaurant.

Image via Bathhouse

I headed off to the locker room, changed into my suit, and made my way to the pools. I'd never been to a bathhouse before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Praying I wouldn't meet the eerie silence of a university library, I walked downstairs to the pools. It was definitely a soothing environment, but thankfully it wasn't sterile — people talked, people read, soaked, people lounged. A soothing music subtly played over the speakers, but nothing intrusive. It was exactly what I needed.

Image via Bathhouse

First thing's first, I needed to soak. Out of the three available pools, I picked the hot tub because I knew what I needed: to melt away my worries. Deadlines? Moving? Family? Didn't matter — I had a jet on my back and my head leaned back. My company rotated here and there, from friends chatting about a recent scandal to a family testing the literal waters to see how hot it was. All the while, I found myself finally and truly relaxing.

Image via Bathhouse

Next, I sauntered over to the tropical sauna, and it was toasty to say the least. The music from before is amplified here, with little-to-no conversation. The air smelled fresh as I focused on my breathing and tried to meditate. My muscles continued to relax, as the heat worked its way through my body. A little over five minutes later, and it was time to go get ready for my scrub.

Image via Bathhouse

After cooling down on the bench for a few minutes (and trust me, I could use the cool down), my esthetician took me back to my treatment room. She was super kind, willing to talk as much as my Chatty Cathy self wanted to, answering my every question. While I love the quiet at times, I feel the most comfortable when I can carry a conversation with someone. Maybe it's the journalist in me, maybe it's the ADHD, but talking takes the pressure off in a way.

Well, talking and peacefully poured warm water paired with a gentle body scrub. I was in for a Hammam scrub, described as their "take" on a more traditional Moroccan scrub. As I laid on the table, rotating from one side to another, she "buffed away dullness" from my body, washing the mixture away with buckets of water as she worked.

Post-scrub, my esthetician applied CBD oil on my skin and advised me to let it soak in the steam room. I'm not particularly a rule follower, but I figured my new friend wouldn't steer me wrong.

Image via Bathhouse

The steam room was a purple-blue filled with starry lights...and lots and LOTS of steam. I could hardly see in front of me enough to find a seat, but I eventually found my way as my eyes adjusted. I was completely engulfed in steam, feeling like I was on another planet — one where my muscles didn't know tension, but were very, very familiar with CBD oil's relaxing charms. After about five to ten minutes, I knew it was time to head out and rinse off in the rain shower.

Image via Bathhouse

A quick rinse later, and it was the perfect time to take my last moments in the neutral pool. The water temperature was wonderful, and there was plenty of space for the ever-circulating guests. I felt refreshed and ready to take on the rest of my day, so I snuck back into the locker room, washed off, and head to the restaurant for a little snack to send me off.

Image via Haley Sprankle

How often are your feeling mindful and relaxed by mid-afternoon on a Friday after a long week? Well, that was me for the first time in a really, really long time. With a crisp salad and glass of bubbly, I knew this wouldn't be my last visit to Bathhouse. For the rest of the weekend — and honestly well into Monday afternoon — I wasn't cracking my neck as much, my skin was incredibly soft, and I felt good.

Audiences loved the way Greta Gerwig's Little Women brought all four March sisters to life, and Netflix's Anne with an E became so popular that when the show was canceled after season 3, 1.7 million fans signed a petition to revive the series. It all just proves that classic adaptations can make the original story even more powerful.

And the newest movie based on a book is going to be one we think about forever — and not just because of its cast. Emerald Fennell (who you'll recognize from The Crown and her work as writer & director on Satburn) is adapting Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights and Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi are leading the cast!

The book, published in 1847, continues to grip readers, and it's become the blueprint for moody complexity — just like Emerald Fennell's Promising Young Woman, which won the Oscar for Best Screenplay thanks to its scathing look at sexual assault. Well, the Em's are coming together for this new adaptation.

Here's everything we know about Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights — and your first look at the movie.

The First Set Leaks From 'Wuthering Heights' Have Everyone In A Tizzy

"I am the biggest fan of Wuthering Heights that there is I just really hope I don’t get disappointed," one Instagram user commented.

Everyone lost their minds when leaks of Margot Robbie dressed in a white wedding gown made their way onto the internet. While some Margot fans say the look is "ethereal" and "majestic," others are criticizing the choice to use a white wedding dress since the trend wasn't started until Queen Victoria married in TK.

"begging people in historical movies and shows to realize white wedding dresses where made the norm in the VICTORIAN ERA," @neybitxh said on X. "wuthering heights is set in the Georgian Era no one was wearing white dresses for a wedding."

Here's Your First Look At 'Wuthering Heights'

The first look at Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights is getting some seriously mixed reactions. The photo features a close-up image of someone (maybe Margot Robbie's) with their fingers and a few blades of grass in their mouth.

"CAN NOT WAIT," one Instagram user said, along with a couple fire emojis. But the intimate (and somewhat shocking) image also has some users asking, "what in the saltburn?"

Who's in the new Wuthering Heights movie?

Frazer Harrison/Monica Schipper/Getty Images

The Wuthering Heights cast will be led by Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie as Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw, respectively. Here's the cast list:

  • Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw: a young girl torn between her feelings for Heathcliff.
  • Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff: a boy fostered by the Earnshaws who's forced to be a servant.
  • Hong Chau as Nelly Dean: a servant in the Earnshaw household.
  • Alison Oliver as Isabella Linton: One of the Earnshaw's neighbor, whom Heathcliff and Catherine spy on.
  • Shazad Latif as Edgar Linton: Isabella's brother.

In addition to starring, Margot will also produce with her production company LuckyChap, which worked behind the scenes on Emerald Fennell's Saltburn and Promising Young Woman.

While some fans were initially excited about the casting, others were concerned about the fact that in the book, Heathcliff is described as "dark skinned." He also tells Nelly that, "I wish I had light hair and a fair skin, and was dressed, and behaved as well, and had a chance of being as rich as he will be!" Um, it looks like Jacob Elordi definitely has fair skin to me.

"Heathcliff is described as a dark-skinned brown man in the book and a major plot point is that he was subjected to racist abuse by his adopted family. But yeah sure Jacob Elordi is perfect," one tweet (which has over 8 million views) says, while another says, "Film studios will say 'We are committed to diverse casting' and then cast Jacob Elordi to play Heathcliff, one of the more famous people of color in literature, whose race is crucial to both his character and the story."

And when the casting for Edgar and Isabella Linton was announced, one X user said, "Now I’m even more pissed off. They look way more like Heathcliff and Cathy cmon now!!!"

Is Wuthering Heights going to be in theaters?

Focus Features

It appears director Emerald Fennell and producer Margot Robbie are pushing for a theatrical release, which is why they've reportedly turned down a Netflix offer of $150 million.

Despite the fact Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said theatrical releases are "just not our business," and the company has stuck to at-home streaming instead, they did break that pattern for Knives Out: Glass Onion in 2022. The movie appeared in around 600 theaters the day before Thanksgiving, but left a week later ahead of its December 23 debut on the streamer.

Co-CEO Reed Hastings told The Hollywood Reporter that keeping the movie in theaters could have made Netflix more money, but later said they just wanted to "break through the noise" and get movie lovers excited for the film to come to Netflix.

All that to be said, Margot Robbie (whose Barbie made over $1 billion worldwide) and Emerald Fennell (whose Promising Young Woman nabbed her an Oscar win and two other nominations) know how to capture the imaginations of movie lovers everywhere. And it could definitely be in their favor to stick to a theatrical release. Stay tuned for official news on where you can watch Wuthering Heights!

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are no strangers to making headlines — and apparently Ben has a lot to say about that after their blockbuster divorce. Bennifer 2.0 was a shocking rekindled romance, but nothing was more shocking about how brief take two was for these seemingly star-crossed lovers. While Ben's historically been pretty tight-lipped about his personal life, he recently opened up in an interview with GQ about Jennifer, their divorce, and how he really feels about it all. Here's what he had to say!

Scroll to see Ben Affleck's rare comments about Jennifer Lopez post-divorce...

Again, it's pretty well-known that Ben Affleck doesn't care much for the spotlight. I mean, he's literally known for looking grumpy — and drinking Dunkin' — in pap shots. And Ben is pretty adamant that underneath all those major headlines, he's just a normal guy with a normal family. He told GQ that his "life is actually pretty drama-free," noting that he experiences all the same things anyone else does.

"I’m sure in your mind you’re thinking, Oh, well, you just got divorced. That’s not drama-free. And I understand that instinct," he elaborated. "But all of this is pretty adult, and for all the sensational stuff that gets written, if somebody sat down and talked to me about it, and I said, “Well, this is really the experience,” their eyes would glaze over with boredom."

When asked about the divorce-stricken elephant in the room, Ben surprisingly shared what ultimately lead to his split from Jennifer Lopez. The interviewer noted that in The Greatest Love Story Never Told, it was clear that Ben wasn't comfortable with sharing so much of himself on screen — and asked what he was going through in those moments.

"Like I mentioned to you before, there are a lot of people who I think have handled celebrity more adeptly and more adroitly than I have, Jennifer among them. My temperament is to be a little bit more reserved and private than hers. As happens in relationships, you don’t always have the same attitude towards these things," he said. "And so I thought, Oh, this is interesting because how do you reconcile that? Because exactly what you said is true. I love and support this person. I believe in them. They’re great. I want people to see that."

Ben explained that there's a highly-quoted part of the documentary where he says, "You don’t marry a ship captain and then say, 'Well, I don’t like going out in the water.'" And ultimately? Ben said that really isn't what caused he and JLo to break things off. He said, "I think it’s important to say that wasn’t the cause of some major fracture. It’s not like you can watch that documentary and go, 'Oh, now I understand the issues that these two had.'"

Maybe one day we'll get the reason Bennifer 2.0 broke our hearts, but for now this answer will have to do. Here's hoping these two are both happy in their own right!

The White Lotus season 3 premiered February 16, 2025. This season takes place in Thailand (after season 1 took us to Hawaii and season 2 took us to Italy), but amidst the stress-management meditation and incredible food, our cast is dealing with plenty of secrets, testing their limits throughout their week-long vacation.

"What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand," is the perfect way to open the trailer for this debaucherous new season. There's a lot to unpack throughout this almost 3-minute video. Here's what we noticed:

  • The Thailand White Lotus property is stunning! Every season makes me want to book a vacation ASAP.
  • Belinda looks gorgeous — so happy to see our girl thriving!
  • Our classic White Lotus family features kids who clearly have nothing in common or want anything to do with their family.
  • Responding to "I hope you enjoy Thailand," with "We usually go to the Caribbean" is that perfect White Lotus humor I live for. It's not in your face, but it gets the point across so well.
  • Belinda's there to learn and "bring the magic back to Maui." (Could this mean we get a return to the Hawaii resort in a future season?!)
  • Aimee Lou Wood and Walter Goggins playing a multi-generational couple is perfect — especially with little details like Aimee saying Walter should get a facial because someone thought he was her dad. Incredible.
  • "It means we're not dead yet," is such good foreshadowing given the morbid nature of this show.
  • "I think the cosmos brought us together," is more amazing White Lotus writing — these characters are always kooky, eccentric, and so addictive.
  • "We're poor now and daddy's going to prison" is a classic White Lotus character problem. You can't help but love to laugh at the incredulous Rich People Problems on this show!
  • It looks like all the crime described on the island sets up the potential for lots of different whodunnit murder scenarios we could end up with. I have a feeling we'll all be shocked at how this story turns up from who ends up in the body bag to who puts them there.
  • "Someone once said, 'The secret to life is knowing when to stop.'"
  • Oh and we get a new version of the theme song! I'm sure it'll be stuck in our collective brain for many months to come!

We already got hints at 'The White Lotus' season 3 last year.

www.youtube.com

- YouTube

The teaser trailer gave us a glimpse at this exciting season back in December 2024.

"Everyone runs from pain towards pleasure," the teaser trailer voiceover said. "But they get there only to find more pain." The montage of late-night parties and unsettling shots like Parker Posey staring down the camera (and someone grilling a live crab until it catches on fire??) had me convinced from the beginning that The White Lotus season 3 was going to serve us an insane helping of both pain and pleasure.

We also got shots of Patrick Schwarzenegger lounging by the pool, Jason Isaacs taking a paranoid stroll through the jungle, and a coupled-up Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins celebrating the fact their vacation didn't kill them.

And creator Mike White says 'The White Lotus' season 3 is going to be bigger than ever.

We know that The White Lotus season 3 is going to be the biggest season yet, thanks to interviews with the creator and crew. “It’s going to be a supersized White Lotus,” creator Mike White said in an interview with EW. “It’s going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don’t know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that’s a good thing…I’m super excited about the content of the season.”

And he's not the only one. Natasha Rothwell told PEOPLE that "White Lotus is going to give you a run for your money.”

"It's an excellent season and people are going to be very pleased," she continues. There's always something special about a third season thanks to the combination of familiarity and brand-new adventures, and the seductive intrigue The White Lotus season 3 is already proving my point.

Who's in the White Lotus season 3 cast?

Fabio Lovino/HBO

The White Lotus season 3 cast has a crazy star-studded cast! The list includes:

  • Jason Isaacs as Timothy Ratliff: a financier vacationing in Thailand with his wife and kids.
  • Parker Posey as Victoria Ratliff: Timothy's wife vacationing with her family.
  • Patrick Schwarzengger as Saxon Ratliff: Timothy and Victoria's eldest son who works for his dad.
  • Sarah Catherine Hook as Piper Ratliff: Timothy and Victoria's daughter who's a college senior studying religion.
  • Sam Nivola as Lochlan Ratliff: Timothy and Victoria's youngest, who's a senior in high school.
  • Michelle Monaghan as Jaclyn Lemon: a TV actress joining her friends for a girls' trip.
  • Leslie Bibb as Kate Bohr: one of three BFF's on a girls' trip in Thailand.
  • Carrie Coon as Laurie Duffy: a lawyer escaping the real world with her friends on their girls' trip.
  • Walton Goggins as Rick Hatchett: a mysterious guest at The White Lotus with his younger girlfriend Chelsea.
  • Aimee Lou Wood as Chelsea: a young woman from Manchester traveling with her much-older boyfriend.
  • Lalisa Manobal as Thidapon "Mook" Sornsin: the White Lotus' health mentor.
  • Lek Patravadi as Sritala Hollinger: an owner of the White Lotus.
  • Natasha Rothwell as Belinda Lindsey: spa manager visiting from the White Lotus Hawaii vacation.

Season 3 is always my favorite season of a show — especially considering Gilmore Girls Season 3 Is Simply The Best, And No TV Show Has Matched It Since. Check out our weekend email send for more TV news and the latest news on The White Lotus season 4!

It's easy to understand why Yellowstone has captivated audiences for five whole seasons. The show is packed with intense drama, complex characters, and stunning landscapes.

Yellowstone is also home to plenty of powerful moments and memorable lines. Whether it's a gut punch of wisdom or a cutting remark, here are some of the show's most iconic quotes.

Scroll to see the most iconic Yellowstonequotes we can't get enough of!

"The only thing I ask is that you outlive me so I never live another day without you." – Beth Dutton

Beth may be regarded as the toughest character in Yellowstone, but beneath her fierce exterior is a deep well of emotion, especially when it comes to Rip.

In one of the most poignant moments of the series, Beth revealed a side of herself that viewers don't often see: her vulnerability and intense love for Rip. For Beth, having him by her side is more than just about companionship. It's a source of strength and stability.

Paramount

"You're either born a willow or born an oak. That's all there is to it." – Lloyd Pierce

In Yellowstone, the harshness of ranch life shapes its inhabitants in unique ways. Here, Lloyd offers a candid observation about the nature of people, suggesting that some are inherently strong and resolute, like oaks, while others are more adaptable and pliable, like willows.

This quote underscores one of the central themes of the show: the tough world of ranching creates individuals who are either suited for the challenge or will be bent by it.

Paramount

"You know, when you boil life down, it's funny just how little you need, isn't it?" – Rip Wheeler

This line perfectly encapsulates Rip's simple yet profound outlook on life. As a man deeply connected to the land, he values self-sufficiency and is content with the basics, a philosophy that aligns closely with the rugged Western lifestyle the Duttons defend.

In his eyes, all that truly matters is the ranch and his family. His humble nature and his unwavering loyalty make him a grounding force amidst the chaos of the show.

Paramount

"The brand isn't something you earn; it's something you live up to." – John Dutton

The Yellowstone brand is not merely a symbol of belonging. As the quote shows, it's also a constant reminder of the responsibility and expectations that come with it.

When Jimmy is given the choice to accept the brand, he isn't just going to be marked as part of the ranch. John Dutton runs his operation with a strict code of loyalty and unquestioned obedience, and Jimmy is being offered an opportunity to prove himself and live a life defined by hard work and sacrifice.

Paramount

"A man who puts a hand on a member of my family never puts a hand on anything else." – Jamie Dutton

Despite their conflicts and dysfunctions, the Duttons share an unbreakable bond when it comes to protecting their own. Jamie's line goes to show that, even with all their flaws, the Duttons will unite in retribution when one of their own is harmed.

What makes this quote particularly striking is that it comes from Jamie, who's like a black sheep in the family.

Paramount

"When you fight for a thing, the thing doesn't care if you win or lose because the thing ain't alive. But when you fight for people, they care." – Kayce Dutton

This line delivered by Kayce underscores the difference between fighting for a cause and fighting for the people you love. He points out the contrast between fighting for material possessions, like the ranch, and the genuine connection and impact that comes from fighting for those you care about.

The quote reveals a key difference between him and his father, John Dutton. While John's primary focus is the ranch's preservation, Kayce is more concerned with his family's well-being.

Paramount

"Learn to be meaner than evil and still love your family and enjoy a sunrise." – John Dutton

In a modern Western like Yellowstone, there are undeniable themes of survival, sacrifice, and loyalty to family. This quote by John reflects the harsh reality of the cowboy lifestyle.

Furthermore, he believes that while life may demand hard choices, it's still possible to find moments of beauty and joy and hold onto the love that makes life worth living. His advice isn't just about fighting evil but surviving in a world where evil is inevitable while preserving a sense of humanity.

Paramount

"When the misery is bad enough, tomorrow is rarely factored into decisions." – Monica Dutton

Finally, it's no secret that Monica has faced an unthinkable amount of challenges in her life, from the trauma of Kayce killing her brother to dealing with systemic racism. This quote shows her belief that when life is filled with mystery, it becomes nearly impossible to think about the future because the present is all-consuming.

It speaks to the emotional weight of living in such a brutal environment and resonates with many of the characters on Yellowstone.

Missing Yellowstone? Us, too. Here's everything you need to know about Taylor Sheridan's epic Yellowstone universe, from 1923to Landman.

The Twisters storyline is said to continue with a sequel! A second iteration of the 2024 remake is “reportedly in the works,” according to entertainment writer and insider, Daniel Richtman. That could potentially mean more Daisy Edgar-Jones, and, of course, more Glen Powell!

Here’s everything we know about Twisters 2.

Who will star in 'Twisters 2'?

Melinda Sue Gordon for Universal Pictures / Warner Bros. Pictures / Amblin Entertainment

Though we don’t have an official casting for the film quite yet, fans are speculating that Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell would return for a Twisters sequel.

“There's no doubt in my mind that Powell and Edgar-Jones are game to reprise their lead roles,” Jordan Ruimy writes for World of Reel.

“I don’t think it needs a sequel but if they can write a compelling story with halfway decent character development and maintain the chemistry in the cast, I’d definitely go see it,” one Twisters fan wrote on Reddit.

What will 'Twisters 2' be about?

Melinda Sue Gordon for Universal Pictures / Warner Bros. Pictures / Amblin Entertainment

There’s no word on the plot of a Twisters sequel, either. Some fans of the film were definitely quick to share some theories for it:

“Tyler faces the moral dilemma about click bait vs accurate information. Kate gets upset about him profiting off of people’s fears. Then Tyler adjusts some way. Still can get tornadoes in there easily,” one person wrote. “Or they could continue down the experiment route and having to get and keep funding looking for better ways to stop a tornado. Or the fall out of the sodium ruining the farm land.”

“Another film to continue the chemistry between Kate and Tyler would be sick,” another user said.

While a potential Twisters 2 sounds appealing to some fans, others are hesitant to greenlight it, preferring a separate storyline instead.

“I'm open to the idea of a Twisters sequel, but I'd prefer they'd leave it as a standalone film,” one more person weighed in.

When does 'Twisters 2' come out?

Melinda Sue Gordon for Universal Pictures / Warner Bros. Pictures / Amblin Entertainment

Twisters hit theaters last year in the summertime, so we predict any potential Twisters 2 would come out the summer of 2026. It’s a tad bit too early to say for sure, though, since murmurings of the movie are still fairly new.
