Bethany Mota, Christina Milian + More Share Top Drugstore Beauty Buys + Splurges
BeautyCon isn’t your typical beauty convention. The city-hopping event, which posted up in LA yesterday, connects the biggest beauty influences around with thousands of their fans IRL for a day-long party filled with makeover booths, carnival rides and Insta-ready backdrops at every turn (we’ve never seen so many emoji balloons and quirky pool floats in one place!).
Seriously, there’s not a better way to meet your Internet idols who were doling out insider beauty tips left and right. Our Style Editor Kate Puhala and I grabbed some of the biggest names on the bill to dish on their favorite drugstore beauty buys and the products they just HAVE to splurge on.
Christina Milian
Miss Milian, best known for her vocals, made her mark on the beauty industry this year. She hosted a panel at BeautyCon 2015, which focused on creativity — we, of course, were all ears.

Bailee Madison
Top Beauty Product Splurge: I splurge on foundation. Just because you don’t want one that breaks you out so that’s one — I don’t spend a lot on it — I just want to take care of my face on my days off so that’s something I definitely pay attention to. I use Makeup Forever, they have one that I use on set and I know it works for my skin so I always stick with that. (Photo via @baileemadison)
A familiar face in the beauty vlogger space, Andrea was talking with fans + industry peeps about what she knows best: all things beauty and how-to’s. She dished on the #GirlProb panel while in LA at BeautyCon.

Top Beauty Product Splurge: To splurge, I’m gonna splurge on mascara. Right now I’m using the newest from Benefit, it’s just really soft and I can reapply it easily and make it thicker. (Photo via @andreaschoice)
Maddi has a cool style we were swooning over this weekend — it all worked and looked fab. This YouTuber has over 850K subscribers, so everyone took notice as she spoke on the #GirlProb panel.
Maddi Bragg
Favorite Drugstore Beauty Buy: Neutrogena SkinClearing Liquid Makeup, ($15) that’s great stuff. It has good coverage and it helps clear your skin while you wear it.
Top Beauty Product Splurge: Splurge item is Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz ($21) or Dip Brow Pomade ($18) any of their eyebrow products are amazing. Eyebrows are so important — they frame your face — so it’s important to splurge on that stuff. (Photo via @madisenrosebeauty1)
