If we’re to believe the internet, Taylor Swift has moved on from both Calvin Harris AND Tom Hiddleston to be with… Drake? But despite reports that all is well between Tay and Calvin now, with the two of them even throwing around the idea of making music together, his new video might suggest he’s not as “cool” with their breakup as he claims to be.
Releasing the visual accompaniment for his single “My Way” (which includes lyrics about a certain someone — *ahem, Taylor* — being “the one thing in [his] way”), people are once again buzzing about the probable intentional shade being thrown Taylor’s way.
While Calvin was careful to choose a love interest (a domestic robot with a shortage — perhaps a dig in and of itself?) that looks nothing like Taylor (‘cause we all saw right through that move with Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River”), he didn’t bother disguising many other details, with thinly veiled clothing references to his ex that are all but undeniable.

Above, for instance, the bot is pictured in a rather familiar polka dot retro dress, which bears more than a little resemblance to the kind Taylor has frequently been known to wear.
Much of the video, however, sees the bot in a black leather bondage outfit — the same type Taylor herself donned in the “Bad Blood” video ― the significance of which isn’t lost on us. Of all the videos he could have referenced, he chose the one where she’s gearing up for a fight?
Near the end, there’s an almost ethereal scene with the bot walking through the woods in a light-up princess dress, which totally has us flashing back to Taylor’s Wonderstruck perfume commericials from 2012.

E! also cites comparisons from Taylor’s “Blank Space” video, which sees her standing on a horse with the bot making a similar move in “My Way,” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” which sees Taylor sitting across from a former lover at a very long table ― a scene which Calvin enacts with his robotic paramour.
There’s ALSO a very brief floating scene where the bot’s outfit again could have been ripped straight from “Bad Blood” ― we mean, come ON.
Could you BE any more obvious, Calvin?
