Celeb Babies of 2017 Who Are Already More Famous Than You

Let’s just say it: 2017 is the year of the celebrity baby. In just the first three months, we’ve seen Janet Jackson become a first-time mom at age 50, Helen Lasichanh and Pharrell Williams say hello to triplets, Amber Tamblyn and David Cross show off a new daughter with the most epically hilarious (and fake… we think) name, and Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied welcome an undoubtedly talented baby number two.

Here are the future movie stars, superheroes, humanitarians, and recording artists coming our way. We don’t know what’s in the water, but we hope Hollywood keeps hydrating.

1. Beyonce and Jay-Z: It was the Instagram heard ’round the world when power couple Bey and Jay announced that they were gifting the universe with not only one, but two, Beybies this year. If the twins follow in the footsteps of big sister Blue Ivy, who at just five years old upstaged everyone at the Grammys in a pink Gucci suit and has her name trademarked for a possible future (and likely best-selling) line of beauty products, it’s clear that it’s the Carters who run the world. Update: The twins, a boy and girl named Sir and Rumi, arrived June 13 and almost took down the Twittersphere with excitement.

2. Amal and George Clooney: The high-profile international and human rights lawyer and her former ER star husband announced in January that they too are expecting twins. It’s as if, after the abomination that was 2016, celebs have taken it upon themselves to repopulate the world with amazing global citizens, two at a time. Activism runs in the family, so when the family isn’t spending time at their British countryside manor or vacationing on Lake Como, we expect the littlest Clooneys to be out saving the world. Update: Twins Ella and Alexander arrived happy and healthy on June 6. (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)

3. Gal Gadot and Yaron Varsano: Wonder Woman Gal Gadot and her Israeli businessman husband announced they were expecting on Gadot’s Instagram page with the hashtag #mommyforthesecondtime. The new baby will join big sister Alma, just in time to watch mom kick butt and take names in three upcoming DC superhero movies. Update: The family’s newest Wonder, daughter Maya, was born on March 20.

4. Sophie Hunter and Benedict Cumberbatch: The couple revealed at the October 2016 premiere of Doctor Strange that they are adding to their Cumberbrood this year. With genes like these — Mom is an accomplished theater director fluent in French and Italian, and Dad (AKA the internet’s boyfriend) has transformed into everything from a dragon to a genius superhero — Cumberbaby number two is destined for greatness. Update: Baby Hal was Cumberborn on March 3. (Photo via Valerie Macon/Getty)

5. Lauren Conrad and William Tell: Conrad, The Hills alum turned fashion designer, started 2017 with a new year, new baby announcement. Soon after, she shared pics of her baby bump along with her team’s favorite baby names on her blog. No doubt her effortless maternity style will inspire all women, bump or no bump. Update: Baby Liam joined the Tell family on July 5.

6. Whitney Port and Tim Rosenman: Port, another alum from The Hills (and now also a fashion designer) showed off her own adorable baby bump on Instagram and her blog shortly after her pal Conrad did. With this latest announcement, Baby Rosenman joins the rest of the next gen of The Hills, which includes Kristin Cavallari’s three kids and Audrina Patridge’s daughter. Update: Baby Sonny made his debut on July 27.

7. Rosee Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham: The former Victoria’s Secret angel took to Instagram to reveal her baby bump in a way only a model could — casually sitting on a beach in a Missoni bikini. Huntington-Whiteley and her fast-driving actor fiance met on the set of Transformers in 2011 and revealed their engagement last year. Update: And little Jack Oscar Statham made three on June 24.

8. Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet: The Oscar-winning actress wrote a lengthy Instagram post that both shut down rumors she was having an affair with Brad Pitt and confirmed the pregnancy of her second child with her actor/director partner (the couple already have a son, Marcel). And she did it in two languages. Bien sûr. Update: The couple’s baby girl said Bonjour on March 10.

9. Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne: The pop singer and boy band cutie crossed paths twice on The X-Factor — she was a judge in 2008, when he auditioned solo, and again in 2010, when he was 1/5 of the phenomenon that became One Direction. Cole confirmed the pregnancy on Instagram while shooting an ad for L’Oreal, and this will be the second 1Der baby (Louis Tomlinson welcomed son Freddie last year) to light up the world like nobody else. Update: Cole had the ultimate (UK) Mother’s Day gift when their son Bear arrived on March 22.

10. Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski: The couple announced their engagement in September and their pregnancy shortly after, and the duo just starred in the film The Last Word (where they began their romance) together. No word yet if the baby will wear pink on Wednesdays. Update: The couple confirmed they low-key eloped AND had their baby girl in March. (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)

11. Ciara and Russell Wilson: In October, the R&B singer announced via Instagram that she was getting the greatest birthday gift: a new baby with her NFLer husband (Ciara also has a son, Future, Jr., from a previous relationship with rapper Future). With both a Superbowl trophy and a Grammy in the household, Baby Wilson is #winning. Update: Little Sienna Princess Wilson was born on April 28.

12. Molly McNearney and Jimmy Kimmel: Last December, the late-night host used his show’s monologue to announce that he and his screenwriter wife are expecting their second child. Kimmel said they are waiting until birth to find out the gender of the baby and joked that he’s been trying to think of unisex names. “So far, all I’ve come up with is Dyson, after the vacuum, or Jelatin with a ‘J’.” We can’t wait to meet little Jelly Kimmel. Update: William John Kimmel was born on April 21, and despite a health scare related to a heart murmur, baby Billy had surgery and is now recovering.

13. Laura Prepon and Ben Foster: The low-key couple got engaged last October (and they have been friends since they were 18!), and in January, confirmed that their first child was on the way. OITNB has been renewed for the next three seasons, so maybe we’ll see a new face visiting Litchfield in the near future. Update: The couple welcomed a baby girl in August. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)

14. Genevieve Cortese and Jared Paladecki: The Supernatural co-stars are welcoming baby number three (the couple already has two sons, Thomas and Shepherd) this year. Regardless if you’re #TeamDean or not, we’ll raise a cup (or three) of coffee to the growing family. Update: Baby girl Odette Elliott joined the family on March 17.

15. Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik: There’s a new girl (or boy) on the way for the actress and her producer husband. Self-professed animal lover Deschanel admitted that they “went a little bit wild” with their first daughter’s middle name, Elsie Otter, naming her after the super playful animal. Here’s hoping Dolphin or Penguin is next. Update: The couple did not disappoint with an animal themed middle name: son Charlie Wolf arrived in May. (Photo via David Livingston/Getty).

16. Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper: The Victoria Secret model and Oscar nominee revealed in November that they were expecting their first child together. The private yet PDA-filled jet-setting couple has been dating since 2015. Update: The couple welcomed a daughter, Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper, to the world on March 21. (Photo via David M. After only two episodes of Only Murders in the Building season 4, Hulu renewed the series for season 5! I'm so excited that the show breaks a recent pattern of cancelling shows after the third or fourth season, giving us more time with our favorite characters, and I'm not the only one.

"Here we go again… my favorite set family. I’m coming home!" Selena Gomez says in an Instagram post, while the official Only Murders account made their own post, saying, "We had our lawyers call business affairs. Turned the 4 into a 5. #OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding is coming back for Season 5!!"

Here's everything you need to know about Only Murders in the Building season 5, coming to Hulu soon.

What is Only Murders in the Building season 5 about?

Patrick Harbron/Disney

Only Murders in the Building Season 5 Plot

We finally got our first details about Only Murders season 5 — and we're going in a direction I totally didn't expect. When Sofia visits Mabel and Charles in the season 4 ending, and asks them to find her missing husband, she's disappointed when they turn her down. And since Téa Leoni just joined the season 5 cast, it looks like she's not taking no for an answer.

“I think she’s the great tease at the end of the finale and a little bit of an intriguing bump forward,” co-creator John Hoffman says in an interview with Deadline. “She’s an extension of the little news report in Episode 9 that Mabel makes note of at the hospital. [Sofia] is the wife of the Dry Cleaning King of Brooklyn, and maybe a couple of dry cleaning outlets in Manhattan, as well, we may come to know...It’s a world opened up potentially that we haven’t talked about too much yet in New York, so she holds a lot of intrigue.”

Patrick Harbron/Hulu

New York's underground is a wild space that we haven't really seen on Only Murders yet so I know we're in for one very interesting season — because if this show is going to go there, they're going to go there.

Executive producer Dan Fogelman told The Wrapwe can look forward to “another big fun mystery the writers have been cooking up," while Hoffman has gone on the record saying the new episodes will “hit on some very current things going on within New York, specifically very relevant things that are happening in the city right now.”

When is Only Murders in the Building season 5 coming out?

Only Murders in the Building Season 5 Release Date

According to The Wrap, Only Murders is looking to begin production on season 5 in March of 2025. Considering we've had a new season over the last four years (with season 1 in 2021, season 2 in 2022, season 3 in 2023, and season 4 in 2024), we're expecting to see season 5 in 2025. Stay tuned for the official Only Murders in the Building season 5 release date.

Who's in Only Murders in the Building season 5?

Eric McCandless/Disney

Only Murders in the Building Season 5 Cast

The cast of Only Murders in the Building includes Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin. Téa Leoni will also return as Sofia Caccimelio, whose husband Nicky has gone missing.

According to Dan Fogelman, “we can expect more big guest stars that’ll probably be announced sooner rather than later,” he tells The Wrap.

Season 3 featured Ashley Park, Paul Rudd, Meryl Streep, and Jesse Williams, while season 4 stars Streep, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Kumail Nanjiani, Desmin Borges, Siena Werber, Lilian Rebelo, and Molly Shannon.

"I am so grateful that I have been surrounded by human beings that make me better, challenge me, remind me day after day that every moment is a gift," Selena Gomez says about working with Martin and Short. "That’s my pure joy. I thank god for the era I’m in. It’s been the best yet."

Will there be an Only Murders in the Building season 5?

Patrick Harbron/Hulu

Yes, Only Murders in the Building has been renewed for season 5! On September 4, Variety confirmed the next installment will have 10 episodes, just like the seasons before it. The latest season premiered on Hulu August 27, and will last until October 29 (just in time to try out an Only Murders Halloween costume!)

Just like the season 3 ending set up season 4, we'll have to wait for the October finale to figure out what kind of mayhem Mabel, Oliver, and Charles will get into next season. "We hope you like it!" Selena Gomez says in the Only Murders in the Building account's announcement, while Martin Short adds, "How exciting is that?"

"We're so exciting to be coming back," Steve Martin says. We're excited too!!

Audiences loved the way Greta Gerwig's Little Women brought all four March sisters to life, and Netflix's Anne with an E became so popular that when the show was canceled after season 3, 1.7 million fans signed a petition to revive the series. It all just proves that classic adaptations can make the original story even more powerful.

And the newest movie based on a book is going to be one we think about forever — and not just because of its cast. Emerald Fennell (who you'll recognize from The Crown and her work as writer & director on Satburn) is adapting Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights and Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi are leading the cast!

The book, published in 1847, continues to grip readers, and it's become the blueprint for moody complexity — just like Emerald Fennell's Promising Young Woman, which won the Oscar for Best Screenplay thanks to its scathing look at sexual assault. Well, the Em's are coming together for this new adaptation.

Here's everything we know about Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights — and your first look at the movie.

Here's Your First Look At 'Wuthering Heights'

The first look at Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights is getting some seriously mixed reactions. The photo features a close-up image of someone (maybe Margot Robbie's) with their fingers and a few blades of grass in their mouth.

"CAN NOT WAIT," one Instagram user said, along with a couple fire emojis. But the intimate (and somewhat shocking) image also has some users asking, "what in the saltburn?"

Is Wuthering Heights going to be in theaters?

Focus Features

It appears director Emerald Fennell and producer Margot Robbie are pushing for a theatrical release, which is why they've reportedly turned down a Netflix offer of $150 million.

Despite the fact Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said theatrical releases are "just not our business," and the company has stuck to at-home streaming instead, they did break that pattern for Knives Out: Glass Onion in 2022. The movie appeared in around 600 theaters the day before Thanksgiving, but left a week later ahead of its December 23 debut on the streamer.

Co-CEO Reed Hastings told The Hollywood Reporter that keeping the movie in theaters could have made Netflix more money, but later said they just wanted to "break through the noise" and get movie lovers excited for the film to come to Netflix.

All that to be said, Margot Robbie (whose Barbie made over $1 billion worldwide) and Emerald Fennell (whose Promising Young Woman nabbed her an Oscar win and two other nominations) know how to capture the imaginations of movie lovers everywhere. And it could definitely be in their favor to stick to a theatrical release. Stay tuned for official news on where you can watch Wuthering Heights!

Wuthering Heights Cast

The Wuthering Heights movie will be led by Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie as Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw, respectively. Margot will also produce with her production company LuckyChap, which worked behind the scenes on Emerald Fennell's Saltburn and Promising Young Woman.

While some fans were initially excited about the casting, others were concerned about the fact that in the book, Heathcliff is described as "dark skinned." He also tells Nelly that, "I wish I had light hair and a fair skin, and was dressed, and behaved as well, and had a chance of being as rich as he will be!" Um, it looks like Jacob Elordi definitely has fair skin to me.

"Heathcliff is described as a dark-skinned brown man in the book and a major plot point is that he was subjected to racist abuse by his adopted family," one tweet (which has over 8 million views) says. "But yeah sure Jacob Elordi is perfect!"

Another says, "Film studios will say 'We are committed to diverse casting' and then cast Jacob Elordi to play Heathcliff, one of the more famous people of color in literature, whose race is crucial to both his character and the story."

Check back here to see who will play characters like Edgar Linton, Nelly Dean, Isabella Linton, and Lockwood.

Wuthering Heights Release Date

Wuthering Heights will premiere on February 14, 2026. Happy Valentine's Day!

What is Wuthering Heights about?

Wuthering Heights Plot

Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights follows the Earnshaws and the Lintons, who are living in the Yorkshire Moors in the 1880s. Their lives change forever when the Earnshaws take in Heathcliff. Like any good dramatic novel, passion lies beneath proper connections, marriages, and societal expectations — and despite Catherine and Heathcliffe's feelings for each other, they have to choose between security and love.

I've been telling everyone I know that the Paradiseending will prompt two emotions: anxiety and impatience for Season 2. Knowing we won't see Agent Xavier Collins and company back in action until 2026 (via Deadline), I've been frantically searching for political thriller books to read. I shouldn't want to raise my blood pressure about such an explosive first season, but I apparently can't get enough of plots that make me clutch my invisible pearls. I have an idea though!

I'll share the best picks you should read while you set up a group chat for us to trade theories in. Ready, set, go!

Dunkin’ has definitely had its fair share of legendary menu items, but not all of them have stood the test of time. From fan-favorite swirl flavors to breakfast options that disappeared way too soon, these 10 discontinued Dunkin’ items still haunt loyal customers’ (and employees’) dreams. If you’ve ever found yourself reminiscing about your long-lost Dunkin’ order, you’re not alone – these are the retired menu items we’re still mourning the loss of!

Scroll on to discover 10 very-missed discontinued Dunkin’ items, from drinks to snacks.

Dunkin'

1. Coffee Coolatta

The Coffee Coolatta from Dunkin' was a fan-fave for years. It was basically a blended frozen coffee drink with a smooth, creamy texture and plenty of sweetness. It was almost like a coffee milkshake! Though Dunkin’ discontinued it in 2017 and replaced it with their Frozen Coffee, a lot of die-hard Dunkin' fans say the Coffee Coolatta was lighter, sweeter, and overall more enjoyable.

Dunkin'

2. Cookie Butter Cold Brew

“I was addicted to the cookie butter cold brew!!" one Redditor wrote in this thread. "Sooo delicious. 🤤” Well, sadly, this seasonal flavor is gone.

The Cookie Butter Cold Brew debuted in 2022, boasting brown sugar-sweetened cold brew topped with cookie butter cold foam and cookie crumbles. Yum. Unfortunately, it hasn’t returned to menus since its initial release!

Dunkin'

3. Croissant Donut

Remember the famous "cronut" trend? This discontinued item was Dunkin's tasty take and it debuted in 2014. Basically a hybrid between two beloved breakfast pastries, it had the flaky, buttery layers you'd expect from a croissant and the deep-fried, goodness of a donut. It became an instant hit upon its release, but was nixed from menus in 2017.

Dunkin'

4. Chicken Biscuit Sandwich

With the flavors of Southern comfort food, the Chicken Biscuit Sandwich was short-lived on Dunkin' menus. It boasted a crispy fried chicken filet sandwiched between a buttery, flaky biscuit. Luckily, Dunkin' still has a lot of breakfast sammies to choose from – though none of them feature chicken. 😭

Dunkin'

5. Tomato Pesto Grilled Cheese

“I could live on those," one Redditor wrote at the mention of the Tomato Pesto Grilled Cheese. It was one of Dunkin's best lunch options, highlighting a savory medley of melted white cheddar cheese, roasted tomatoes, and basil pesto on toasted sourdough. Unfortunately, it was quietly discontinued.

Dunkin'

6. Butter Pecan Iced Coffee

Dunkin's Butter Pecan flavor was all about the buttery and nutty, which go super well with coffee! Originally introduced as a seasonal customization, many Dunkin' fans still miss it.

“Butter pecan is the best flavor they’ve ever had," one Reddit user noted.

Dunkin'

7. Beyond Breakfast Sausage

Originally hitting the menu in 2020, Dunkin' sadly discontinued the Beyond Breakfast Sausage after a relatively short run. It truly stood out as a great vegetarian or vegan breakfast option for those who don't (or can't) eat meat – many plant-based fans were disappointed after learning that Dunkin’ would continue offering it.

Dunkin'

8. Pink Velvet Swirl

With the taste of red velvet cake and a smooth, pinkish hue, the Pink Velvet Swirl from Dunkin' became swiftly popular among sweet coffee fans. Dunkin’ offered it as a flavor addition in lattes, iced coffees, and other beverages in early 2021. Most notably, it was very Instagram-worthy with its vibrant color! Regrettably, the festive flavoring didn't make the permanent menu, and it has since been discontinued.

Change.org

9. Arnold Palmer Coolatta

Made with half iced tea and half lemonade and blended with ice, the Arnold Palmer Coolatta was honestly the perfect summer drink from Dunkin'. It was sweet and tart with a satisfyingly smooth and icy texture. Dunkin' did end up discontinuing many of their Coolatta bevs in 2017 to focus more on their coffee offerings.

Miss the Arnold Palmer Coolatta too much? There's even a petition to bring it back.

"Those were a staple of my childhood during the summer 😫,” one Redditor commented.

Dunkin'

10. Steak, Egg & Cheese Sandwich

Stacked up with a seasoned steak patty, scrambled eggs, and melted cheese, the Steak, Egg & Cheese Sandwich was a hearty and savory breakfast option that Dunkin' (somehow) decided to stop offering. The sandwich offered a protein-rich morning meal for those who wanted something filling and flavorful for breakfast, but was likely overshadowed by more common breakfast proteins like ham, bacon, and sausage.

"The sausage is a decent substitute, but the steak was godlike," one Redditor said.
