This Is Totally What Jay Is Giving Bey for Valentine’s Day

When it comes to gifting, Valentine’s Day can be a tricky holiday… especially if you’re rich and famous. How do you find a gift for a girl who has practically everything? While we’re not sure anyone can top Jason DeRulo’s gift of 10,000 — yes, ten thousandroses to former girlfriend Jordin Sparks last year, we bet these celebs will try. Scroll down to discover our V-Day predictions for your fave celeb couples.

1. Jay-Z + Beyonce: Last Valentine’s Day, the rapper went all out for his #flawless boo, selecting a chic, mixed-metal Tacori bracelet engraved with a sentimental message. We’re guessing this year’s choice will once again prove to be some pretty eye candy, like this Tacori Moon Rose ring ($1,870). (Photo via Mike Coppola/Getty)

2. George Clooney + Amal Clooney: The newlyweds have already spent a few holidays at George’s Cabo San Lucas vacation home. George, since you’re new to this husband thing, we’ll give you a hint: Girls love getaways. (Photo via Jason Merritt/Getty and Architectural Digest)

3. Brad Pitt + Angelina Jolie: We always expect the unconventional from this couple. After Brad’s V-Day gift choice last year — a box of EatWhatever breath mints — we’re pretty sure it’s Angelina’s turn to show what’s up her sleeve. She can gag-gift him good with these muffin tops baking cups ($15). (Photo via Sean Gallup/Getty)

4. John Legend + Chrissy Teigen: Chrissy, can we steal your husband for Valentine’s Day? The “All of Me” songwriter knows A LOT about romance. Since the twosome have Instagrammed their KFC picnics in bed, it’s not too far-fetched to imagine them spending a private V-Day reconnecting over comfort food. (Photo via Jason Merritt/Getty and Jamie Oliver)

5. Channing Tatum + Jenna Dewan-Tatum: Channing’s been known to turn to Neil Lane to romance his sweetheart for V-Day. Whatever he’s doing, it looks like it’s working. If Channing asked our opinion, we’d faint suggest these diamond and rose gold stunners. (Photo via Jason Merritt/Getty)

6. John Krasinski + Emily Blunt: Remember that swoonworthy moment when John rushed out on stage to give Emily a hug after her latest Critics’ Choice Award win? Yeah, we’re pretty sure John’s got special V-Day plans for his gal. We bet he might even treat her to a special breakfast in bed with this Nutella French toast. (Photo via Christopher Polk/Getty and Quick ‘n’ Easy Recipes)

7. Andrew Garfield + Emma Stone: This crazy-in-love couple tends to play it cool and low-key, which is why we expect Andrew to deliver a sweet, yet practical gift. This leather weekender bag ($300) coordinates perfectly with her fav leather backpack from Madewell. The gift is made even more romantic if a getaway is part of the surprise. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)

8. Justin Theroux + Jennifer Aniston: No matter where this pair of love birds spend their evening, we can imagine Jen sizzlin’ in her signature LBD. Jen and Justin have been known to color coordinate on and off the red carpet, so we’ll make it easy for them to stick to tradition. Doesn’t this chic sheath ($108) look totally Aniston-approved? (Photo via Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty)

9. Dax Shepard + Kristen Bell: With a one-year old and a two-month old at home, we’re pretty sure Kristen Bell deserves a day out. One of her fav escapes? Biking. We think Dax should take his girl out for a ride on a new bike ($300+)… and maybe pack a romantic picnic too. (Photo via Kevin Winter/Getty)

10. Austin Butler + Vanessa Hudgens: This outfit totally screams Vanessa Hudgens. Good thing a romantic occasion is approaching! Vanessa, your perfect outfit ($400) is ready and waiting. (Photo via Mark Davis/Getty)

11. Ryan Reynolds + Blake Lively: We predict our fave couple will spend their Valentine’s Day at home, celebrating with their new baby. Blake has a serious thing for cupcakes, so we can totally imagine Ryan whipping up a batch of these chocolate-dipped strawberry cakes. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty and Pineapple and Coconut)

12. William Tell + Lauren Conrad: Lauren has made no secret about the fact that she’s in love with this Roses de Chloé fragrance ($95). Forget flowers, Will: Lauren is pining for perfume. (Photo via Charley Gallay/Getty)

Amid Blake Lively & Justin Baldoni's legal battle, their It Ends With Us costars have stayed relatively quiet, but on February 17, Brandon Sklenar (who played Atlas opposite Blake's Lily and Justin's Ryle) was straight-up asked if he's Team Blake or Team Justin. The question shocked me a little, TBH, given the internet's discussion around whether the PR for the movie trivialized its themes of domestic violence, but Brandon handled the q like a champ.

Here's what Brandon Sklenar said about being Team Blake Lively or Team Justin Baldoni amid the It Ends With Us legal battle.

Brandon Sklenar wants audiences to "remember why we made" 'It Ends With Us.'

In a conversation ahead of 1923 season 2, which drops on Paramount+ February 23, Brandon revealed that he just wants "people to remember why we made the movie in the first place and what it stands for, and just keeping the focus on that."

The film follows Lily Bloom, who finds herself in the middle of a very complex and dangerous relationship. "That movie meant so much to me, and I have someone very, very close to me in my life who's gone through what Lily's going through for a long time and I've been on the front lines helping her navigate that space," Brandon continues. "Me doing that film gave her the strength to change her life...It's unfortunate that things get taken away from what the ethos of [the movie] is and gets convoluted, and I just want to remind people of why that thing exists in the first place."

But is he Team Blake or Team Justin? "I'm Team It Ends With Us," Brandon tells CBS Mornings co-host Gayle King.

And it's not the first time Brandon Sklenar has spoken up.

This isn't the first time Brandon Sklenar has spoken on the feud between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. After Blake's legal team published a story in the New York Times in December 2024, alleging that Justin has sexually harassed her and orchestrated a smear campaign against her, the 1923 actor shared the link on his Instagram story on December 23, telling his followers, "For the love of god read this," alongside a red heart and Blake Lively's Instagram handle.

Brandon also took to his Instagram stories after the movie premiered in August 2024, saying "What may or may not have happened behind the scenes does not and hopefully should not detract from what our intentions were in making this film."

"There isn't a single person involved in the making of this film that was not aware of the responsibility we had in making this," he continues, adding that "villifying" the women involved in bringing the story to life "detracts what this film is about."

"Colleen and the women of this cast stand for hope, perseverance, and for women choosing a better life for themselves," he says.

Saturday Night Live just had a 50th anniversary celebration to remember, but despite some iconic callbacks and celebrity cameos, one moment everyone's talking about didn't really have to do with the sketches at all: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's appearance.

During a Q&A with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, Ryan Reynolds stood up to ask a question, with Blake Lively sitting right beside him. After the SNL icons asked him how he was, the Deadpool actor responded, "Great. Why, what have you heard?" And while the audience laughed at the inferred reference to the ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni, sources are saying others aren't so happy with the couple's appearance.

Here's what people are saying about Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's appearance on the SNL50 special.

Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively "have no regrets" about their SNL50 special appearance.

While the moment with Ryan Reynolds got some laughs, a Page Six insider reveals that, "People in Hollywood think Blake and Ryan attending the SNL 50th anniversary show was not a good look," and that it might have been a good idea for the couple to "have sat this one out.”

But even though the appearance got some mixed reviews, another source promises they "have no regrets about making an appearance at the show,” and that they “were two of the last people to leave Studio 8H."

"Blake was initially hesitant to attend the SNL 50th anniversary show but ultimately she’s glad she attended and had a really nice time,” the second source continues. “They’re glad they showed up because they have nothing to hide and no reason not to.”

The SNL50 special, and the brief look at Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, came after Blake and Justin Baldoni filed lawsuits against one another — Blake against Justin for alleged sexual harassment and Justin against Blake, Ryan, and the New York Times for defamation.

"It’s very plausible that Justin’s legal team will use this public outing to defend him,” according to the Page Six source. “Justin is taking this lawsuit in all seriousness and isn’t making a public mockery out of it."

Recently, Justin Baldoni published a website with an Amended Complaint and It Ends With Us timeline, but according to First Amendment lawyer Kevin Goldberg, the website is "unnecessary."

"I think it's unusual and I'm not sure it's appropriate once you have already filed a defamation lawsuit," he tells Forbes. "Legally speaking, it's not going to be, itself, relevant as evidence. It could be introduced in evidence but there's no need for it."

"The reason we have very strict standards for anyone who is trying to win a defamation lawsuit — and in particular, a celebrity who is trying to win a defamation lawsuit is they can do things like this," Kevin continues. "Use a website and PR team to restore their reputation, they don't need to use the courts to restore their reputation. So why did he do both is my big question. It seems like his real goal is not to win the lawsuit but restore his good name, just, generally in the public view."

After making a move to dismiss Justin Baldoni's lawsuit, and then receiving a second lawsuit from crisis publicist Jed Wallace, It Ends With Us star Blake Lively continues to make moves. In February, the actress filed subpoenas to Wallace, alongside companies like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Cloudflare Inc., and AOL. Which, honestly, isn't too much of a surprise after Justin Baldoni published 2 years' worth of text messages and emails to bolster his complaint.

Here's what Blake Lively's team had to say about her new subpoenas in her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.

Blake Lively's attorneys are bringing "receipts" to court.

In a statement issued to The Hollywood Reporter, Blake Lively's attorneys explain the reason behind their latest legal move.

“Ms. Lively has initiated discovery that will expose the people, tactics, and methods that have worked to ‘destroy’ and ‘bury’ her reputation and family over the past year,” Mike Gottlieb and Esra Hudson say. “We will now receive all of the ‘receipts’ that, unsurprisingly, are nowhere to be found on Mr. [Bryan] Freedman’s website, and like Ms. Lively, those ‘receipts’ will have their day in court.”

On Justin's website, TheLawsuitInfo.com, he alleges "a pattern of demands by Lively and acquiescence by Baldoni" and "concerns about Lively's undue influence over the film" as he claims creative control over the editing and marketing was taken away from him.

One such example came last June, when Justin was allegedly uninvited from Book Bonanza...and Blake Lively snuck and unfinished cut of the movie to 2,000 fans. Justin's site claims "Blake Lively told Sony that she will showing audiences at Book Bonanza her cut of the Film, regardless of Sony or Wayfarer’s approval."

And you can watch the actress admit that the “studio begged me not to show” the cut but they “didn’t have the option [to say no], I literally brought the movie with me on the airplane."

After Justin published his website, First Amendment expert Kevin Goldberg, Freedom Forum's Vice President, told Forbes that "from a First Amendment point of view," taking a step like this is "unusual."

"Public figures don't usually win these cases and are not supposed to use the courts to try the case in the court of public opinion," he says. "I'm not sure it's appropriate once you have already filed a defamation lawsuit...Legally speaking, it's not going to be, itself, relevant as evidence. It could be introduced in evidence but there's no need for it."

"The reason we have very strict standards for anyone who is trying to win a defamation lawsuit — and in particular, a celebrity who is trying to win a defamation lawsuit is they can do things like this," he continues. "Use a website and PR team to restore their reputation, they don't need to use the courts to restore their reputation. So why did he do both is my big question. It seems like his real goal is not to win the lawsuit but restore his good name, just, generally in the public view."

Audiences loved the way Greta Gerwig's Little Women brought all four March sisters to life, and Netflix's Anne with an E became so popular that when the show was canceled after season 3, 1.7 million fans signed a petition to revive the series. It all just proves that classic adaptations can make the original story even more powerful.

And the newest movie based on a book is going to be one we think about forever — and not just because of its cast. Emerald Fennell (who you'll recognize from The Crown and her work as writer & director on Satburn) is adapting Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights and Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi are leading the cast!

The book, published in 1847, continues to grip readers, and it's become the blueprint for moody complexity — just like Emerald Fennell's Promising Young Woman, which won the Oscar for Best Screenplay thanks to its scathing look at sexual assault. Well, the Em's are coming together for this new adaptation.

Here's everything we know about Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights — and your first look at the movie.

Here's Your First Look At 'Wuthering Heights'

The first look at Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights is getting some seriously mixed reactions. The photo features a close-up image of someone (maybe Margot Robbie's) with their fingers and a few blades of grass in their mouth.

"CAN NOT WAIT," one Instagram user said, along with a couple fire emojis. But the intimate (and somewhat shocking) image also has some users asking, "what in the saltburn?"

Is Wuthering Heights going to be in theaters?

Focus Features

It appears director Emerald Fennell and producer Margot Robbie are pushing for a theatrical release, which is why they've reportedly turned down a Netflix offer of $150 million.

Despite the fact Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said theatrical releases are "just not our business," and the company has stuck to at-home streaming instead, they did break that pattern for Knives Out: Glass Onion in 2022. The movie appeared in around 600 theaters the day before Thanksgiving, but left a week later ahead of its December 23 debut on the streamer.

Co-CEO Reed Hastings told The Hollywood Reporter that keeping the movie in theaters could have made Netflix more money, but later said they just wanted to "break through the noise" and get movie lovers excited for the film to come to Netflix.

All that to be said, Margot Robbie (whose Barbie made over $1 billion worldwide) and Emerald Fennell (whose Promising Young Woman nabbed her an Oscar win and two other nominations) know how to capture the imaginations of movie lovers everywhere. And it could definitely be in their favor to stick to a theatrical release. Stay tuned for official news on where you can watch Wuthering Heights!

Wuthering Heights Cast

The Wuthering Heights movie will be led by Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie as Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw, respectively. Margot will also produce with her production company LuckyChap, which worked behind the scenes on Emerald Fennell's Saltburn and Promising Young Woman.

While some fans were initially excited about the casting, others were concerned about the fact that in the book, Heathcliff is described as "dark skinned." He also tells Nelly that, "I wish I had light hair and a fair skin, and was dressed, and behaved as well, and had a chance of being as rich as he will be!" Um, it looks like Jacob Elordi definitely has fair skin to me.

"Heathcliff is described as a dark-skinned brown man in the book and a major plot point is that he was subjected to racist abuse by his adopted family," one tweet (which has over 8 million views) says. "But yeah sure Jacob Elordi is perfect!"

Another says, "Film studios will say 'We are committed to diverse casting' and then cast Jacob Elordi to play Heathcliff, one of the more famous people of color in literature, whose race is crucial to both his character and the story."

Check back here to see who will play characters like Edgar Linton, Nelly Dean, Isabella Linton, and Lockwood.

Wuthering Heights Plot

Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights follows the Earnshaws and the Lintons, who are living in the Yorkshire Moors in the 1880s. Their lives change forever when the Earnshaws take in Heathcliff. Like any good dramatic novel, passion lies beneath proper connections, marriages, and societal expectations — and despite Catherine and Heathcliffe's feelings for each other, they have to choose between security and love.
