How To Make A Dog Turkey Costume

Tools And Materials:

  • red, orange, yellow and white felt
  • cardboard
  • One-Wrap Velcro
  • pen
  • fabric scissors
  • hot glue gun

Instructions:

1. Draw large, long oval feathers on your yellow felt. Stack the yellow felt on top of the orange felt and cut them both out. Next, draw a curved rectangular shape on the white felt and cut it out.

2. Hot glue the white rectangular shapes to the feathers, then glue the feathers to one another to create a fan shape.

3. Glue a horizontal strip of cardboard to the back of the feathers to help them stand upright.

4. Hot glue a piece of felt to each edge of the feathers and attach a strip of One-Wrap Velcro that is long enough to wrap around your dog’s belly.

5. Cut out a gobble from red felt and attach some One-Wrap Velcro.

Draw 12 long feathers on your yellow felt. Stack the yellow felt on top of the orange felt and cut out your feathers. Cut 12 white curved rectangular pieces to accent the feathers.

Glue the white pieces to the feathers and then glue the feathers to one another into a fan shape.

Attach a long strip of cardboard to the back of the feathers to help them stand up straight once the dog turkey costume is assembled.

Hot glue a piece of felt to each edge of the feathers and attach a strip of One-Wrap Velcro that is long enough to wrap around your dog’s belly.

Draw a gobble onto a piece of red felt, cut it out and glue it to a small piece of One-Wrap Velcro.

Hey Turkey — here’s your turkey costume!

Attach the gobble to your dog by wrapping the One-Wrap Velcro around the collar.

Cutest turkey I ever did see!

Get ready, starlights! It’s time to turn over a new leaf. Cosmically, the past few weeks have been a whirlwind, but we're finally stepping off March’s cosmic rollercoaster — hang in there!

The Solar Eclipse in Aries on March 29 at 6:57 am EST marks the beginning of a new era filled with ambition and optimism. As land-locked as you may have felt these last few weeks, this lunation will stir up your confidence, fueling your drive to push forward. It is best to analyze and not go through your goals just yet. April 2025 is the month to begin setting intentions — wait for it. Any new ideas that surface now are worth noting — this eclipse initiates a new cycle worth considering these next six months. To learn more about what the cosmos has in store for you during this last solar eclipse in Aries, read on for your sun, moon, and rising sign's horoscope!

Scroll to see your zodiac sign's horoscope for the Solar Eclipse in Aries...

Daria Ponomareva

Solar Eclipses generally send out chaotic, unpredictable energy, making it an unstable time for setting intentions or calling things in. Instead, focus on reflection and evaluating your current processes. The best way to work with this energy is by observing what needs to shift, releasing attachments to outdated ambitions, and allowing space for what is to come.

To honor this eclipse, try a candle meditation, but remember that this is not for manifesting. Light a red or gold candle as a symbolic act of making peace with the past while igniting the inner fire that will propel you forward. As you focus on the flame, visualize shedding the weight of old cycles, embracing personal growth, and building clarity on what lies ahead. This practice will align you with the upcoming wave of ambition without the risk of rushing into impulsive decisions.

Jovan Vasiljević

This eclipse also signals a revelation period. Over the next six months, new information regarding your goals, ambitions, and direction will surface. Keep a journal or document what percolates your consciousness, and revisit it in late September 2025. What emerges now is worth holding onto, as it will embed in your subconscious, subtly guiding your success.

The most notable moment during this eclipse is its supportive sextile with Pluto, which provides an extra boost for transformation and openness to change. However, with Mercury retrograde in play, careful planning is essential. While this energy calls for forward movement, the retrograde influence urges you to be mindful of old habits or outdated goals that could resurface. Conscious awareness, focused determination, and attention to detail will ensure success.

Which signs will experience growth and opportunity during the Solar Eclipse?

Lara Jameson

The signs most impacted are Aries, Libra, Capricorn, and Cancer, as well as those with placements between 4-14 degrees in any sign.

Brit + Co

How The Solar Eclipse Will Impact Each Sign:

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

This solar eclipse marks a profound personal reset. A fresh start in your identity, goals, and self-expression is unfolding, guiding you toward newfound confidence. You are stepping into a bolder version of yourself—ready to take charge and embrace new beginnings. Over the next six months, expect a transformation in presenting yourself to the world and pursuing your dreams.

Brit + Co

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

This eclipse activates your inner world, signaling a rebirth in your spiritual journey. Pay attention to intuitive nudges and hidden insights that surface now. A deep sense of renewal is emerging, but before leaping into action, allow yourself space to rest, reflect, and integrate new wisdom.

Brit + Co

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

New beginnings in your social life and aspirations take center stage. A shift in friendships, networking opportunities, or collaborations could set the stage for long-term success. Whether stepping into a new community or powering up your future goals, trust the process and let things unfold organically.

Brit + Co

Cancer (June 22 – July 22)

Your career and public life are under the spotlight. This eclipse could bring a fresh opportunity, a shift in professional direction, or a newfound sense of purpose. However, with Mercury retrograde in motion, be patient when signing contracts or making long-term commitments — clarity will come soon.

Brit + Co

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

A fresh start in education, travel, or personal beliefs is within reach. You may feel the pull toward expanding your horizons, whether through a new study, an international opportunity, or a personal philosophy shift. This is an exciting time, but let ideas marinate before launching something new.

Brit + Co

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Shared resources, emotional depth, and financial matters are in focus. This eclipse encourages transformation in navigating intimacy, investments, or joint ventures. Be mindful of financial decisions or contracts during Mercury retrograde, ensuring everything aligns with your long-term security.

Brit + Co

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

A significant relationship cycle is beginning. Whether in love or business, new connections are forming, and existing relationships are evolving. However, with Mercury still retrograde, give things time to unfold before making long-term commitments—what you truly desire will become clearer in the coming months.

Brit + Co

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

A fresh start in work, wellness, and daily habits is on the horizon. Whether it's a new job, a refined health routine, or a shift in priorities, this eclipse invites you to take charge of your daily life. Allow space for adjustments, as the retrograde influence suggests fine-tuning before fully committing.

Brit + Co

Sagittarius (November 21 – December 21)

Creativity, romance, and self-expression are taking center stage. This eclipse signals the beginning of an exciting new chapter in love or personal projects. Since Mercury retrograde is in motion, avoid rushing into new endeavors—let inspiration flow naturally before making major leaps.

Brit + Co

Capricorn (December 21 – January 19)

A fresh start in home life, emotional well-being, or family matters is emerging. Whether it’s a relocation, a new family dynamic, or a deeper emotional reset, this eclipse brings clarity to your personal foundations. Take your time before making major household decisions, as Mercury retrograde asks for careful planning.

Brit + Co

Aquarius (January 20 – February 19)

Your confidence in communication is growing, and this eclipse opens new doors for sharing your voice. A new project, writing endeavor, or community connection may emerge, but with Mercury retrograde still in motion, be mindful of timing. Gather your thoughts and refine your message before making big announcements.

Brit + Co

Pisces (February 20 – March 21)

This eclipse elevates your self-worth, finances, and overall security. A fresh start in money matters and personal value systems is in the works. However, with Mercury retrograde in the mix, avoid impulsive investments or major purchases—wait for more clarity before making financial commitments.

Approach This Solar Eclipse With Awareness

This Solar Eclipse marks a cosmic reset, offering the chance to understand your core priorities, ambition, transformation, and new possibilities. Instead of manifesting, focus on reflection, releasing the past, and preparing for what’s next.

New insights will emerge in the coming months, shedding light on your goals' direction. Check in with your journal or reflect on what has been stirring in your consciousness now, then revisit it in late September 2025. By then, the pieces of the puzzle will be clearer, and your subconscious will have already laid the foundation for success.

Sullivan's Crossing season 3 will be here before you know it — quite literally because the new episodes are premiering earlier than ever. And honestly, thank goodness after that insane season 2 finale!! Well, after a tease that the new Sullivan's Crossing episodes will be super "emotionally charged," we finally have a first look at Chad Michael Murray, Scott Patterson, and Morgan Kohan in season 3. Let's unpack it!

Here's your first look at Sullivan's Crossing season 3, premiering on The CW on May 7, 2025.

When is Sullivan's Crossing season 3 coming out?

Michael Tompkins/Fremantle

The CW confirmed that Sullivan's Crossing season 3 will premiere in the US on May 7, 2025 at 8PM EST. My jaw dropped because we usually get October premieres, meaning season 3 is hitting our screens five whole months ahead of schedule! Not that I'm complaining. Each of the 10 episodes will air on Wednesdays on The CW and the app.

How many episodes are there in Sullivan's Crossing season 3?

Michael Tompkins/Fremantle

There are 10 episodes in Sullivan's Crossing season 3. Check back here for the full list of titles!

  • Season 3, Episode 1 "New Beginnings" airs May 7
  • Season 3, Episode 2 airs May 14
  • Season 3, Episode 3 airs May 21
  • Season 3, Episode 4 airs May 28
  • Season 3, Episode 5 airs June 4
  • Season 3, Episode 6 airs June 11
  • Season 3, Episode 7 airs June 18
  • Season 3, Episode 8 airs June 25
  • Season 3, Episode 9 airs July 2
  • Season 3, Episode 10 airs July 9

Um, did the 'Sullivan's Crossing' season 3 first look just spoil the premiere?

CTV/Bell Media

In our first look at the new season, we see Chad Michael Murray's Cal and Morgan Kohan's Maggie getting cozy. Maggie wears a super cute white tee and jeans combo, while Cal's in a henley and jeans, but in a surprising turn of events, fans are way more concerned with who's on the second slide than with their favorite couple.

Because after Sully's fate was left up in the air at the end of the Sullivan's Crossing season 2 finale, seeing him in the first look has fans hoping he'll pull through.

"So that 2nd pic... does that mean Sully didn't die in the fire ????" one Instagram user asks, while another jokes, "that’s what I was thinking! Like way to ruin the cliffhanger!"

Fremantle/CW

ICYMI, Sullivan's Crossing season 2 ended with the diner catching on fire...and Sully getting trapped inside. But thankfully the story doesn't end there.

“We are so excited to return to Sullivan’s Crossing next year for a third season,” Brad Schwartz, CW's President, tells Deadline. “Roma, this talented cast, and the entire creative team have built an incredible world full of emotionally charged storytelling that has resonated with viewers over the last two years. And tonight’s season finale includes a can’t-miss cliffhanger that will leave fans clamoring for more.”

Ahead of season 2, Morgan Kohan told Brit + Co that "Season 2 just feels really elevated from season 1," and that the next installment offers "a real good insight into so many more of the characters that we already love and kind of get to know a lot more about them, and how and why they operate." And I can only imagine season 3 will provide even more nuance and detail to those relationships. I can't wait!

Where is Sullivan's Crossing filmed?

Bonus Recipe: Buffalo Chicken Wrap from Half Baked Harvest!

Half Baked Harvest

As a bonus, we're throwing in one of our favorite easy and healthy wrap recipes that pushed all the right buttons on flavor. You'll combine shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, herbs, lettuce, and a little cheddar cheese, fold them up in wraps, then pan-fry until warm and crispy!

These easy wraps, made by Half Baked Harvest, come together in mere minutes. They're crunchy on the outside, cheesy on the inside. Serve with the deliciously creamy jalapeño lime ranch and additional buffalo sauce! These healthy wraps are great for both lunch and dinner, but equally fun for a game night, too!

First things first: start with the buffalo chicken. Shred up a couple of chicken breasts and toss them with homemade buffalo sauce, Greek yogurt (for creaminess), and fresh herbs. Most buffalo chicken fillings are made with cream cheese, but you can swap in yogurt for a healthier choice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 4 large (burrito size) whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1-2 jalapeños or poblano peppers, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • Olive oil, for cooking

Ingredients for jalapeño ranch:

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños chopped + 2 tablespoons brine
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

To assemble:

Make a cut down the center of your tortillas, then add the chicken to one corner, and the greens to another corner, and finally the cheese to another. Fold it all up, then pan-fry. So you've got...

  • One-quarter of buffalo chicken
  • Another quarter wrap of greens n' things
  • A quarter full of ranch
  • And finally a quarter full of cheese
  • Fold it all up into one triangle

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the chicken, yogurt, buffalo sauce, chives, parsley, and dill.
  2. To make the ranch. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  3. To assemble, cut down from the center of the tortilla to the edge. Spread the chicken in the bottom left corner, then add a handful of the lettuce, jalapeño/poblano pepper, and green onions on the top left corner. Spread the ranch on the top right corner, and the cheese on the bottom right corner. Fold the buffalo chicken over the lettuce. Then, working clock-wise, folding that quarter over the ranch. And finally, fold that quarter over the cheese.
  4. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet, add 1 wrap and cook 2-3 minutes per side until crisp and golden brown. Serve warm with extra buffalo sauce, ranch, and lettuce.
