Chipotle Is Getting into the Burger Biz

Ya know how much we love our fast food, whether we should or not, even if it comes dispensed via LEGO (for real). That’s why we’re totally into Chipotle’s current efforts to woo us food-wise, and why we’re absolutely excited by the news that the taco-peddlers are now getting into the burger biz. Whaa? Yup, and yum!

According to Bloomberg, our burrito-slinging buds at Chipotle have filed a trademark application for the name Better Burger. Mmm!

“It’s a growth seed idea we are exploring,” said Chris Arnold, a Chipotle spokesman. “We have two non-Chipotle growth seeds open now — ShopHouse and Pizzeria Locale — and have noted before that the Chipotle model could be applied to a wide variety of foods.” So should we expect to see Chipotle souvlaki and Chipotle roti in the future? We can only… hope? *shrugs*

No news on when or where Better Burgers is set to open, but we’ll be on top of that like a crew of ladies descending upon Chipotle burritos after a night of partying.

What do The Bear, Mystic Pizza, and Marvel's Spider-Man: No Way Home have in common? Cast members Ayo Edebiri, Julia Roberts, and Andrew Garfield are all starring in a new thriller called After the Hunt from Challengers director Luca Guadagnino! I love each of these names individually, and this movie is my dream collaboration. I CANNOT wait to see how this story comes together. The flick is coming to theaters this fall and it's already one of my most-anticipated 2025 movies.

Here's everything we know about After the Hunt, starring Ayo Edebiri, Julia Roberts, and Andrew Garfield.

When is After the Hunt coming out?

After the Hunt is coming to theaters on October 17. Since it's being released by Amazon MGM, we can expect the movie to hit Prime Video after its theatrical run.

What is After the Hunt about?

This new movie follows a college professor (Julia Roberts), who finds herself at a "crossroads" when a beloved student (Ayo Edebiri) makes an accusation against another professor (Andrew Garfield), and the secrecy of her own past is threatened.

“It’s not a movie about sexuality or love. It’s one of my very rare movies where I didn’t tackle that,” Luca said on WTF with Marc Maron. “It’s a very timely movie for where we are now. In terms of the society and the division in society and the extreme positions that we can have vis-a-vis an opinion in a way.”

“It’s about what happens in the milieu of academia between younger and older people and the idea of consent,” he continues. “I can tell you that it’s very loaded. I can tell you that the movie is very provocative, but not in a stupid way, but I would say in a very articulate way. It’s a great script from this first time writer, Nora Garrett.”

And the cast is as intrigued by the story as we are. “I’m very excited,” Ayo Edebiri told Deadline. “[Luca Guadagnino] is a visionary, I think. He cares so deeply about human beings and their relationship to each other. [The film] is sticky. It’s a complicated movie, but I feel so proud to be a part of it and excited to see it. I know that I’m biased, but me aside, everybody’s so amazing. I really was blown away, so I’m really excited.”

Who's in the After the Hunt cast?

After the Hunt stars Ayo Edebiri, Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Chloë Sevigny.

Considering Julia Roberts plays a professor in Mona Lisa Smile (one of my favorite movies ever), she definitely has the authority and grace to knock this role out of the park.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni aren't the only ones affected by their ongoing legal battle following the release of It Ends With Us. According to the actress' amended complaint, her four children (James, Inez, Betty, and Olin) are "traumatized" by the events of the last few months — and she herself “struggled to get out of bed” some days.

Here's how Blake Lively's family has been affected by her legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

Blake Lively's kids are "traumatized" by the Justin Baldoni drama.

According to Page Six (who obtained the court document), Blake Lively's "traumatized" kids have been “emotionally uprooted in ways that have substantially impacted their well-being.”

The complaint also claims Ryan Reynolds has “been affected mentally, physically and professionally by his wife’s and children’s pain," and that Blake herself has sometimes “struggled to get out of bed."

A People source already claimed she was "pretty surprised at the backlash and drama," which "felt out of control to her."

“She frequently chooses not to venture outside in public,” her complaint continues. “While she has fought to maintain her personal life and business interests, behind closed doors she has suffered from grief, fear, trauma and extreme anxiety.” And Blake and Ryan kept it pretty low-key until they made their reappearance at the SNL50 celebration.

Blake Lively told Brit + Co ahead of the movie's release that her family is "all over" the movie. (And her sister Robyn is actually in the movie, TBH).

"Motherhood influenced this — my own mother influenced this," she says. "I was lucky to be able to be involved in so many different aspects of movie, not just onscreen, on screen is the smallest amount of work that I did in this film to be honest. And I took the relationships with my mother and my sisters, or my children, and my feelings and I mean, it's all over this film."

"Moments we've had together, things we've said to each other," she continues. "And I think that's why I feel so proud and it, and it's so personal me."

And her amended complaint also features text messages about the alleged misconduct.

Blake Lively's amended complaint also features text messages she sent to a mutual friend she shares with Justin. In May 2023, she wrote, “I was gonna invite you to set tomorrow. These people. Whoa . . . It’s like HR nuts today," she says. "The both of them. I wasn’t expecting that turn. I mean it’s been present but today I came home and cried.”

"Keep your hormones to yourselves," she continues in another text. "This is not mine. I don’t want it. I don’t want you [sic] gaze or words or tongue or videos of your naked wife. Yeah. It’s shocking. Clowns.”

The publishing of these text messages came after Justin published his own amended complaint and timeline of events on his website — including a text hyping up Blake's postpartum body.

"I want you to know, you will look amazing. Anything you are insecure about we will talk through and get creative together and make you comfortable," he says in a text the month Blake gave birth to Olin. "I just don't want you to stress about your body. It's the last thing you need. As soon as I have a rough schedule that's even remotely accurate I'll share and I'll make sure the team keeps this in mind as well."

I am SO GLAD 1923 season 2 is on its way because there's no way I'd be able to focus on anything except that 1923 season 1 ending if it got cancelled. With so much danger, our favorite characters scattered to the wind, and the fate of the Dutton ranch hanging in the balance, I have so many questions and I'm hoping the first few episodes of this February TV show answer them, like, ASAP.

Here are 8 questions 1923 season 2 definitely needs to answer when it premieres February 23 on Paramount+.

1. When are Teonna and the Duttons going to meet?

Emerson Miller/Paramount+

I'm starting out with my most-important question because it's all I can think about. I want Teonna to meet Cara, Jacob, Spencer, and the rest of the gang! I could totally see Alex getting to Montana and Teonna, her dad, and Pete helping Alex make it to Bozeman...let's make it happen Taylor Sheridan!

2. How is Alex getting to Montana?

Lo Smith/Paramount+

Speaking of Alex, how the heck is she getting to Montana, let alone the specific town she told Spencer to meet her in. Traveling in 1923 is definitely more difficult than traveling now (especially as a woman) but if anybody's able to traverse the American countryside on their own, it's her. She just has to get off the boat first.

3. Will Arthur's death have any more consequences for Spencer?

Emerson Miller/Paramount+

1923 fans will remember the reason Alex and Spencer are split in the first place is because after dueling with Alex's ex Arthur, Spencer throws him off the ship in self defense...and then is kicked off himself. Does he have his stuff? Will he have any guilt that his actions led to Alex being on her own? Is he traveling the country in a tux? Only time will tell.

4. Can we please do something about Father Renaud?

Lo Smith/Paramount+

I hate this man. He's slimy, he's headmaster at Teonna's abusive Catholic boarding school, and he simultaneously makes me boil with rage and shudder in horror. After the events of season 1, he's hunting Teonna and I hope he NEVER catches her. Maybe Spencer can duel this guy next.

5. What's going to happen to the Dutton ranch?

Emerson Miller/Paramount+

Considering Yellowstone exists, we know the Dutton ranch stays in the family — despite the fact Whitfield reveals the ranch defaults to him unless the Duttons can pay up. So I guess either Jacob and Cara work it out before it's too late, or one of their descendants gets it back?

6. Will Elizabeth and Jack start a family?

Christopher Saunders/Paramount+

Season 1 ended with the heartbreaking realization that Elizabeth had miscarried her first child. There was a beautiful moment between Cara and Elizabeth as the older woman offered some comfort, but my heart still just aches for her. Whether Elizabeth ends up giving birth in season 2, or her and Jack adopt, I can't wait to see what the future looks like for these two should they want start a family.

7. ARE ZANE AND ALICE GOING TO BE OKAY?

Trae Patton/Paramount+

I need these two (who were attacked and separated for miscegenation) to be featured in the first 10 minutes of 1923 season 2 — hopefully together, with their children, and happy. Can we make that happen Paramount?

8. How will Jacob and Cara take down Banner?

Lo Smith/Paramount+

Banner's been after Jacob and Cara — and their land — and despite the fact he almost successfully kills Jacob, I just refuse to believe our Dutton patriarch could be defeated by a man like that. (And not just because Jacob's played by Harrison Ford).
