Tour Cortney Novogratz’s Brazil Vacation Home Getaway

Cortney and Robert Novogratz have a LOT of design work under their belt, with gorgeous properties in LA, NYC, and on HGTV’s 9 By Design. Not to mention, an Amazon storefront and a recently launched Fred Segal collab with stylish (and affordable) home accessories. So when it comes to vacationing, their gorgeous Trancoso, Brazil, home does not disappoint. Cortney recently gave us an exclusive look inside their amazing property, complete with a guest tree house, a beach hammock, and an al fresco dining room that is the ultimate dinner party gathering zone. Scroll through for some serious vacay decor envy and a few Novogratz-approved tips on how to create laid-back vibes no matter where you are.

The Novogratz family has an actual treehouse at their vacation home for visiting guests. "This closet is located in our treehouse. The treehouse was built as an add-on project a few years ago. It is our private guest house for couples or smaller families. The entire space is made of local, raw materials and was designed to be open to mimic the shape of the tree," says Cortney.
(Photo via Ariadna Bufi)
Nestled inside the treehouse is an airy bedroom, complete with a lush canopy bed and decor locally sourced to keep with the natural look. Says Cortney, "I love canopy beds. They can be sexy, draped in fabric or as a standalone frame. They can also be practical, like when you need to drape them in mosquito netting in a tropical climate to protect you from the insects. Plus, you can also personalize them by draping your canopy beds with tassels or your kid's artwork."

Whether they've taken a dip in the pool or come in from the beach, this outdoor shower is a serene retreat. "One of the best gifts you can give yourself is time alone. This outdoor shower evokes peacefulness and being one with nature. It was made with all natural materials and feels like a little sanctuary. Personal outdoor shower time is something the entire family enjoys," says Cortney.
(Photo via Matthew Williams)
Says Cortney, "All of the bedrooms in our home were built as intimate, private suites so the main porch and pool were designed to evoke a feeling of gathering and community. There are lounge chairs for everyone and a ping pong and pool table just inside. I love this area of our home because it brings everyone together to relax and have fun."
(Photo via Ariadna Bufi)
The dome-shaped brick oven was a special project for the Novogratz family during a longer vacation and was built with entertaining in mind. "Not only can we cook brick oven pizza on it, there are a variety of methods you can utilize to cook your food including roasting, grilling, and baking," she says. "It's become a gathering focal point of our outdoor seating and bar area."
(Photo via Matthew Williams)
"The main porch overlooks the pool with a beautiful ocean view in the distance," says Cortney. If you want to find her, she's often floating in this picturesque pool. "The pool is my favorite space in the house. I am known as the master floater in the family. I can float for a very long time. I can temporarily drown out all the noise and chaos when I float by keeping my ears under the water. It's my happy place."
(Photo via Catherine Hall)
The heart and center of the family's Trancoso home is the open-air dining room, which can seat all nine of the family or up to 20 people. The long dining table and woven chairs were made in collaboration with neighborhood artisans. "The handmade dining room table is one of my favorite pieces because it is handcarved with a raw edge. The chairs are handwoven and you can really tell the talent of the artisan because they have held up over the years," Cortney explains.
(Photo via Ariadna Bufi)

In the expansive backyard, you'll find two playful swings, which she added to bring a sense of whimsy to her vacation home's poolside views. "These swings are our design. We love the pops of color and how the blue reflects the ocean, the sky, and the color of the pool," Cortney says. "The swings are hung underneath a trellis of wood that's woven with flowers. There's nothing quite like having a good laugh with someone while swinging in the sunshine."

"The swimming pool is the focal point lined with natural stones locally sourced in Brazil. They are really soft on your feet and create a comforting sensation when you stand on them," she shares.
(Photo via Ariadna Bufi)
Imagine lounging in this hammock swing with a good book and the soundtrack of waves crashing. "It's our go-to beach hang out because it feels very private. I knew this would be the perfect place to hang the hammock to share with the community," Cortney explains. "The kids love to hang out in it just after sunset with a lantern light, their favorite book, and the sounds of waves crashing. It never disappoints." (Photo via Catherine Hall)

Listen up, chefs: we thought Jeremy Allen White was officially off the market after months of dating the iconic Spanish pop star, Rosalía, but it looks like they're no longer an item! Jeremy was just spotted kissing one of this co-stars from The Bear, bringing their on-screen romance to real life.

Pascal Le Segretain / Getty Images

Jeremy's on-screen romance turned IRL.

Photos of Jeremy and co-star Molly Gordon (who plays his love interest, Claire, in The Bear) obtained by People show things heating up between the two. The duo had their arms wrapped around each other as they embraced for a kiss. This is the first time we've seen them both linked romantically, and we're honestly shocked and left wondering what happened with Rosalía, who he was going steady with in fall 2023.

October 25, 2024: Jeremy Allen White & Molly Gordon Spark More Rumors

A month after Jeremy Allen White and Molly Gordon were seen locking lips in Los Angeles, Peoplesnagged more photos of the two as they enjoyed a nice walk in NYC. They look cozy in their casual fall outfits — complete with matching burgundy hats — and were all smiles. They've yet to confirm anything though, but they have all the makings of a budding romance that could be serious!

Scroll on for a deeper look into all of Jeremy's recent romantic escapades!

Jeremy Allen White's Steamy Dating History

First, there were the Jeremy Allen White and Selena Gomez dating rumors.

An anonymous submission to DeuxMoi at the beginning of July 2023 set off speculation that the two A-listers were “in touch.” The tip noted that Selena and Jeremy had allegedly met at a Vanity Fair cover shoot and hit it off ever since.

The gossip was neither proved wrong *or* right, though in hindsight, it didn’t hold up too strongly. Not long after rumors began circulating, the Haim sisters posted on Instagram about "single summer," picturing Selena alongside a Taylor Swift-backed girl gang.

Then, a big PDA fest with Ashley Moore.

Things were steaming up on the streets of Los Angeles when Jeremy Allen White was spotted engaging in some serious PDA with model and actress, Ashley Moore in August 2023. How they met is a total mystery, but seeing them together via paparazzi pictures was jaw-dropping – especially considering Mr. White was seen with his estranged wife and kids the week prior. Yikes!

Next, Jeremy publicly thirsting over Alexa Demie.

He’s at it again! In August 2023, Jeremy Allen White scrolled past a video highlighting Alexa Demie’s new campaign with Calvin Klein and did what any fan would do – he left a comment (though minimal): “Wow.”

To publicly show his affection (or rather, attraction) via Instagram is a whole thing in itself. King.

In fall 2023, Jeremy Allen White and Rosalía were going steady.

“Rosalía and Jeremy Allen White have recently started dating,” a source told Us Weekly in November 2023. “They started out as just friends, but things have turned romantic recently.”

Alexa, play "That Should Be Me" by Justin Bieber!

The duo had been sighted side-by-side a few times. TMZ shared photos of them together at a late-October 2023 farmer's market and even sharing a smoke break in a parking lot. Romantic!

That budding romance came after what we call White’s hot boy summer – he was out and about on the streets of Los Angeles amidst his separation from actress Addison Timlin. Throughout their divorce, White was rumored to be involved with Selena Gomez, thirsting over Alexa Demi on Instagram, and was publicly spotted smooching Ashley Moore.

Kevin Winter / Getty Images

Despite all of this, Jeremy was spotted being friendly with his divorced ex.

In what TMZ was calling "the friendliest divorce ever," Jeremy Allen White and his now-ex Addison Timlin had been seen doing family activities together amid his romantic antics. The pair shares two young daughters, which is likely why they're still seeing each other from time to time. Where Jeremy's head is, we can't say for sure, but we do know he's out there acting young, wild, and free.

Like it or not, ‘tis the season to start thinking about the holidays. ‘Tis a stressful season, too, but don’t let the hustle and bustle of it all get you down. Whether you’re already formulating family plans or researching the best gifts to give, the best way to lean into this time of year (and not resist the holiday cheer) is by decorating your place to be as merry and bright as possible.

I know what you may be thinking: it’s still quite early to kickstart the festive mindset. And trust me – I’ve always been anti-early holiday decorating, but Anthropologie’s most recent holiday collection has persuaded me otherwise. They’re selling tons of timeless pieces to help you get a jump on the season, and my favorite part is that many of them can be used year after year. Single-use decor is overrated – heirlooms are where it's at.

From cozy Christmas doormats to candle holders I’m actually excited to spend money on, I scrolled through all of Anthro’s offerings to find 11 festive faves that’ll also sway you to start setting up early this year.

The best Anthropologie holiday decor pieces for 2024:

Anthropologie

Confetti Glass Tree

I love anything with retro flair, and these confetti glass trees have definitely earned a spot on my mantle! I also really appreciate that they span beyond your classic red and green Christmas decorations, adding a subtle pop of color via pinks, blues, and yellows. They're shoppable in 3 colors so you can snag a perfectly complete set!

Anthropologie

Embroidered Stars Velvet Runner

For all the family dinners and parties to come this season, this cozy cotton-velvet table runner sets any food and drink spread up for success. You get a little bit of holiday charm from the embroidered gold starts without it being overly Christmas-y, so you could even use it in the dining room once the holidays have wrapped up.

Anthropologie

Poplar Tree Wall Hanging

This wall hanging is such a unique piece that you can customize based on each year's ornament collection. I definitely will be snagging this to curate my very own (and highly curated) ornament art installation. It's also a wonderful small space-friendly hack to hang up if you don't have space for a traditional tree!

Anthropologie

Lou Benesch x Anthropologie Stargazer Zodiac Ornament

Astrology fans, rise up! These eye-catching ornaments come in all 12 signs – which can be great for your own tree, or as a thoughtful personalized gift for any zodiac lover in your life. I just absolutely love the cozy touch of the velvet ribbon!

Anthropologie

Espresso Martini Cocktail Glass Ornament

Is the season ever merry and bright without an espresso martini? Year after year, this drink graces my family's bar around the holidays. This glass ornament is the perfect "spirited" touch for the season that doesn't require a huge monetary commitment, and with the right care, it can last you a lifetime.

Anthropologie

Chunky Knit Holiday Icon Stocking

You're never too old for stocking stuffers – I prefer mine packed with candy. The chunky wool knit of this adorable, bow-adorned stocking has a vintage feel that'll fit right in with any interior.

Virgin River fans rejoice: season 6 isn't event out yet (it hits Netflix on December 19) and the show has already been renewed for season 7! Which is a huge deal because that makes Virgin River the longest-running Netflix drama ever, and after so many Netflix cancellations, it's exciting to see a show (especially one that's so feel-good) break that Netflix cancellation curse! And showrunner Patrick Sean Smith promises, “There’s a lot more to go here with these characters" (via Tudum).

Season 6 will see Mel and Jack finally tie the knot (and after we've been waiting for them to say "I do" for literally six years, this wedding is my most-anticipated scene), but the ceremony is just beginning for this cozy TV show. Here's everything you need to know about Virgin River season 7 before you even press play on this winter's episodes ;).

Is Virgin River going to have a season 7?

youtu.be

- YouTube

Virgin River Season 7 Plot

Yes, we're getting a Virgin River season 7! The new installment will follow Mel and Jack after their wedding day, and Patrick Sean Smith says season 7 will “explore the honeymoon phase for them as they’re building their lives on the farm, which can come with its own obstacles.”

But don't worry hopeless romantics, we don't have to worry about whether Mel and Jack are endgame. “I can’t imagine creating a scenario where you think Mel and Jack are going to break up,” Patrick continues. “It forces you to dig a little bit deeper into, well, what other issues can they have in their relationship? Especially when you want to keep it through the romance lens. I think Alex and Martin play all of those [moments so well], it’s just resting on emotional stakes as opposed to will they, won’t they.”

When is Virgin River season 7 coming out?

Virgin River Season 7 Release Date

We definitely don't have a Virgin River season 7 release date yet (it was literally just announced!) but check back here for updates. Based on the fact we got season 5 in 2023 and are getting season 6 in 2024, here's hoping we get season 7 in 2025.

Who else is going to be in Virgin River season 7?

Netflix

Virgin River Season 7 Cast

The cast of Virgin River season 7 includes Annette O'Toole as Hope, Tim Matheson as Doc, Colin Lawrence as Preacher, Kandyse McClure as Kaia, Sarah Dugdale as Lizzie, and Kai Bradbury as Denny.

“Especially with Hope and Doc, getting to tell love stories between two people at that age is something that television never does,” Patrick says. “Or if they do, it’s for comic relief or something. So the more that we get to grow those characters and dig into them, it just feels special. It feels like nothing else anybody is doing on television.”
