Guys, it’s officially crunch time. Thanksgiving is less than a week away! If you’re running short on time, you might be tempted to reach for canned cranberry sauce this holiday season. We’re here to (hopefully!) change that with 3 creative twists on your classic cranberry sauce. Oh, and did we mention that you can make them all in under 15 minutes? Read on for the recipes!
Cabernet Cranberry Sauce RECIPE
Boozy cranberry sauce? Ain’t nothing wrong with that.
Ingredients:
– 1 12-ounce bag fresh cranberries, rinsed
– 3/4 cup granulated sugar
– 3/4 cup Cabernet (or other red wine)
– 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
– 2 teaspoons orange zest
– 1 cinnamon stick
Instructions:
1. Combine 1 cup water and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add cranberries, Cabernet, orange juice, orange zest and cinnamon stick.
2. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until cranberries begin to pop. Let cool. Enjoy!

Pomegranate Cranberry Sauce REcipe
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 1 cup pomegranate juice
– 3 tablespoons lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon lemon zest
– fresh pomegranate seeds

2. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until cranberries begin to pop. Fold in chopped walnuts. Let cool. Enjoy!
