How to Make Etched Glass Whiskey Tumblers and Champagne Flutes

When searching for the perfect gift for someone close, we all want something that just screams their name, personality and taste. Sometimes this is easy, and sometimes this is the most impossible task you’ve ever taken on. At Brit + Co, our answer to this dilemma is always (you guessed it) a DIY, so we whipped up two options — an Etched Whiskey Tumblers Kit and Etched Champagne Flutes Kit — available for $40 in the B+C shop.

Materials:

– 2 whiskey tumblers or 2 stemless champagne flutes

– 3M Vinyl Electrical Tape

– Etching Cream

– Applicator

Additional Tools (not included in kit):

– Scissors

– Paper plate or other disposable surface

Instructions:

1. Section off your glass with thick vinyl tape.

2. Add a more detailed pattern with thin vinyl tape.

3. Apply a thick layer of etching cream over your design.

4. Let sit for 30 minutes on a disposable plate.

5. Carefully wash off etching cream over an empty sink.

6. Peel away vinyl tape and wash thoroughly before use.

Grab a pair of champagne flutes or whiskey tumblers and lets get etching!

Mask off the area that you would like to etch using the thicker vinyl tape. Note: For safe drinking, do not etch near the rim of the glass. Keep your design to the lower half of your glass.

Next, go in with the thinner vinyl tape and create your pattern. For this set we went with a classic stripe all the way around.

Wasn’t that easy? Set this one aside and tape the same (or different) design on the second glass.

Gotta love a good pinstripe. Now let’s check out a few more designs.

For this next example, we wanted to give these glasses an alpine feel with an abstract mountain pattern. Note how we created “mountain peaks” with thicker tape, then used the thinner tape to create lines within those boundaries.

To keep the base clear and un-etched, mask off the bottom of the glass with thick tape, holding the tape with your thumb and stretching the tape around the circular base.

For this third design, we slightly modified the mountain pattern by criss-crossing the thick tape lines and continuing them to the bottom of the glass. Then we added thin parallel and perpendicular lines within the thick tape lines.

For this last design, we got personal with monograms. Note how we masked out the boundaries with thick tape and created the letter “M” with thin tape.

You could stop there with a fully etched square, but we wanted to go a step further and limit the etching to the shape of the “M”. We simply cut the end of the thick tape to a point to outline the top of the M, and then cut a point into the tape to mask the bottom.

Gravity plays a big part in the etching game, as the goopy etching cream has a habit of oozing down the side of the glass. If your design does not run all the way to the bottom of the glass, take the time now to mask off the space below your design to keep it clear.

We masked the same designs onto these stemless champagne flutes, but each with a curvaceous twist!

You can even make script letters with this awesome thin tape! Because it’s made of stretchy vinyl, you can bend and curve it any direction you like. Just hold down one end firmly with your thumb while bending the tape around those curves.

Now for the fun part! We recommend gloves for this step (and included them in our kit). Either way, it’s a good idea to work slowly and carefully with this stuff. Stir the etching cream thoroughly with a popsicle stick and then apply a thick layer over your taped design. It’s best to do this over a paper plate or other disposable surface, as the goopy etching cream can harm your table or countertop if it comes in contact.

The same goes for these flutes. Slather on that etching cream, then let your glasses sit upright on a paper plate for 30 minutes. This gives the etching cream time to do its magic and eat away at the smooth surface of the glass.

Once 30 minutes is up, wash off all of the etching cream over an empty sink (you don’t want to accidentally etch those leftover dishes). Peel away the tape to reveal your etched design.

Give your glasses a good wipe down with a wet paper towel to remove any leftover residue and thoroughly wash them once more with soap before use.

We’re loving this elegant matte effect that’s absolutely dishwasher safe!

We’re in a gifty mood these days, so we wanted to think about the personalities that best fit our designs. Maybe it will get your wheels turning on what to make for all those special people in your life.

1. The Barrel: For the no-nonsense Ron Swanson in your life who samples his or her booze straight from the barrel… and even made the barrel him/herself.

2. The Block Monogram: For the collegiate ones, this will fit right in with their rich mahogany and many leather bound books.

3. The Great Outdoors: Whether they love the mountains in an active outdoorsy kind of way or a theoretical hipster kind of way, these are just what John Denver ordered.

4. The Frank Lloyd Wright: For the structured architect in your life who can appreciate an ode to the greats, let’s all raise this glass.

Cheers to another successful DIY.

A Fresh paint color can be the dramatic upgrade you need to fall in love with your kitchen again. Four years ago, I painted my kitchen cabinets with Benjamin Moore's Adriatic Sea, and while I still like the color I'm ready to go more earthy in my aesthetic. "The biggest trend we’re seeing for kitchens and kitchen cabinets is homeowners looking to add more color and turn away from all-white kitchens and gray kitchens/kitchen cabinets," says Sue Wadden, Sherwin-Williams Director of Color Marketing.

Thinking beyond white these days, many designers are finding unique ways to pair color with stone and natural woods. "Lately, I’ve been captivated by the power of contrasting materials and colors to transform this essential room," says Amr Samaha, founder of LA-based Samaha Studio. "In our latest project, we’ve paired the timeless elegance of French white oak cabinets with a striking maroon paint." Here's a peek at Amr's design and several other designer picks for the best kitchen cabinet colors this year.

Samaha Studio

Amr's bold choice of a maroon hue adds warmth and depth, creating a kitchen that is both sophisticated and inviting. Try Farrow & Ball Preference Red No.297, Benjamin Moore Classic Burgundy, or Clare Paint Vintage to get the look. Always test a sample to make sure the color suits your specific lighting situation.

"The maroon hue does more than complement the natural wood — it elevates the entire space, turning it into a focal point that’s as visually stunning as it is functional. By embracing contrast, we’ve crafted a kitchen that not only looks beautiful but also feels like home," he says.

Sherwin Williams

"I love Sherwin Williams Dark Knight," Lauren Reyes says, principal designer + owner LA-based LVR Studios. "We’ve used this for my own kitchen’s cabinetry – it’s not a typical navy blue like we’re used to seeing as it has rich hues of dark blues and greens."

Farrow & Ball

Another favorite is Farrow & Ball’s Joa White, a light and clean taupe. "It's a nice way to achieve a “white” kitchen, but a lot warmer and very sophisticated feeling," Lauren says.

Sherwin Williams

Sue recommends Sherwin Williams'Thunderous SW 6201 for an earthy nature-inspired look. I think this is my pick too! "Dark yet calming, it is ideal for this space since it complements natural elements like wood and metal very well," she says.

Sherwin Williams

Sue is also a fan of the wine-colored trend. She recommends Carnelian SW 7580. "To add some drama and mystery into a kitchen, this deep saturated violet with warm red undertones is a beautiful choice. Although it might seem like a bolder choice, it’s easy to pair with clean neutrals, thanks to its muted tone."

Farrow & Ball

Amanda Leigh at House of Rolison seconds the redder tones for a warm and stimulating color. Her favorite? Benjamin Moore Nicholson Red. "We love coordinating a cabinet color to the vein of the slab we choose. It helps marry the materials we use without being too coordinated," she says.

Amanda's other favorite is also in the greige family, Farrow and Ball's Drop Cloth.

Whearley & Co

If you want to lean more green in your greige, Whearley & Co.'s Cooking Apple Green is a lovely neutral with a bit more tint.

Sherwin Williams

Sue adds to her fave list Sherwin Williams Color of the Year for 2024: Upward SW 6239. "This light and breezy blue that creates a beautiful coastal chic vibe to an all-white kitchen. Homeowners can take this aesthetic one step further by adding wooden accents to the space."

Theresa Butler Interiors, Marc Mauldin

Theresa Butler, principal and founder of Theresa Butler Interiors in Atlanta recently refreshed a 15-year-old kitchen with its original cabinets using Benjamin Moore Advance Paint in Marine Blue (on island) and London Fog (in cabinets).

Theresa Butler Interiors, Marc Mauldin

Theresa also used Benjamin Moore White Dove to refresh this traditional kitchen.

Benjamin Moore

Theresa also recommends Benjamin Moore Stratton Blue (a muted blue-green shown above), a soothing Ocean Air, and Peale Green, an earthy forest green, for kitchen cabinets. Love the idea of forest green too!

Lowe's

Something in the Ocean Air family is the Tranquil Waters Tintable Cabinet Paint from Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines.

There's no shortage of drama between the many Cyrus family members, but after Billy Ray's recent post-inauguration performance, Miley and (most of) her siblings just publicly voiced their concerns. While not everyone made their own statements, Trace Cyrus took to Instagram with an open letter, expressing his worries — and apparently almost all of the Cyrus siblings "signed off" on the messaging. Here's what we know about what happened with Billy Ray, what Trace wrote, and how Miley really feels about it all.

Scroll to find out what's going on with Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, and the rest of their family at the moment.

Joe Raedle/Getty Images

On January 20, 2025, Billy Ray Cyrus performed at Donald Trump's Liberty Ball after the inauguration ceremony. However, the performance left many wondering if the "Achy Breaky Heart" star was alright. While Billy Ray alleges there were technical difficulties that hindered his performance, the performance was awkward to say the least. After claiming his guitar was "cut" off, he said, “Y’all want me to sing more or you just want me to get the hell off the stage? I don’t give a damn."

Billy's son Trace took to Instagram on January 23, 2025, pleading with his father to get help after the incident. He wrote:

"Since my earliest memories all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever. I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life. Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now. It seems this world has beaten you down and it’s become obvious to everyone but you.

You may be upset with me for posting this but I really could care less at this point,” he continued. “Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away … We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew & hoping for the day he returns … As I write this with tears in my eyes I hope you realize this message only comes from a place of love and also fear that the world may lose you far too soon. I love you Dad. We haven’t talked in a while but I’m over a year and half clean from alcohol. Guess what? I feel amazing.. I don’t know what you’re struggling with exactly but I think I have a pretty good idea & I’d love to help you if you would open up and receive the help.”

Since Trace's Instagram post, more members of Billy Ray's family spoke out to agree with the sentiment that the country artist needs help. According to Page Six, all the Cyrus siblings except for Braison "signed off" on this post after agreeing with what Trace wrote. A source also told Page Sixthat Miley has "no interest" in fixing her relationship with Billy Ray after their lengthy estrangement.

Amy Sussman/Getty Images

Billy Ray's recent ex-wife, Fire Rose spoke to The New York Postabout his behavior after Trace shared his message on Instagram. She said, "What’s being seen in public now reflects much of what I experienced in private during our relationship. It’s very sad to see those same struggles continue for him, but I’m glad the truth is coming to light — for his potential good because healing is only possible when you confront the truth and accept there’s a problem.”

However, Billy Ray's son Braison told PEOPLE, "I don't have any bad feelings toward anyone in my family," seemingly avoiding any involvement in the perceived "drama" or "feud" the Cyrus family is going through at the moment.

And now, Trace claims Billy Ray threatened legal action against him for his open letter. He posted a statement on Instagram, saying:

"Dad my message was beyond loving. I could have been extremely honest about a lot more but I don’t want to put your business out there like that.

But for you to threaten me with legal action for wanting you to get help is a disgrace. Pappy is looking down on you with such disappointment I can assure you. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I will always love you but I no longer respect you as a man. Everyone close to you is terrified to tell you how they really feel. I'm not. Get help."

Now, Billy Ray just officially entered the mix with his own comments. The singer shared a clip of his song "Somebody Said a Prayer" on Youtube, adding a lengthy caption to the post. He wrote:

"Sunday callin... Giving thanks for the California Rain . Praying for the brokenhearted and their pain. Praying for my family. For my children … sons and daughters…and their mother. Let this moment be the start of healing ❤️🩹 for us all. 'The past does not equal the future.' Amen 🙏🏼"

As this situation continues to unfold — and very publicly — we hope that the Cyrus family gets the peace and healing they're looking for.

Prior to becoming a mom, I never drank coffee on a daily basis. I didn't get the hype surrounding it because eating a hearty breakfast used to give me all the energy I needed to tackle my day. If you listen closely, you can hear my mom-coded chuckle.

Though I used my Keurig here and there...I fell into the daily Starbucks habit that I haven't quit been able to shake yet. The tasty drinks felt much easier to grab and go, instead of dropping in a pod and adding creamer, hoping for that barista-made flavor. However, I finally found something that makes me feel like I'm my own at-home barista: the Ninja Espresso Machine!

What is the Ninja Espresso Machine?

Amazon

This Ninja coffee maker is a 3-in-1 machine that allows you to make espresso, classic drip coffee, and cold brews! It goes the extra mile by letting you make the following of each:

  • Espresso — double shot or quad shot
  • Drip Coffee — classic, rich, or over ice
  • Cold Brew — cold pressed expresso or cold brew coffee

Depending on your mood, you can brew anywhere from 6 to 18 oz. drinks. It's like the grandmother of coffee makers IMO — she really can do it all, and then some!

What kind of features does it have?

Jasmine Williams

What features doesn't this Ninja coffee maker have is the better question. My favorite feature so far is the weight-based dosing that helps the machine determine what you'll need for the perfect cup of coffee. What does that mean? It has a built-in scale that does the heavy lifting for you, showing you the recommended setting you need by detecting the weight of the beans before grinding.

It also has a hands-free frothing option that rivals the skills of Starbucks' baristas with its Barista Assist Technology. The four frothing features are:

  • Steamed milk
  • Thin froth
  • Thick froth
  • Cold foam

I've tried the steamed milk and cold foam options so far, and they're AMAZING. I think that's the best part of making coffee now!

Is it hard to put the Nina Espresso Maker together?

Jasmine Williams

This is probably the heaviest coffee maker I've ever had, but it doesn't bother me. I bought my fiancé a Nutri Ninja Personal & Countertop Blender last year, so I'm familiar how sturdy their products are.

However, I want to mention how heavy it is so you're not surprised when you're taking it out of the box! It took two people to slide it out in my experience, so make sure you have someone to help you. If you don't care about keeping the box the Ninja Espresso Maker comes in, you can just cut it open to make it easier for you.

Putting this machine together is simpler than it looks, though. It comes with additional pieces like the assisted tamper, a funnel (to ensure you have the right amount of ground coffee), two baskets (to determine what type of coffee you want to make: quad shot espresso, classic, cold brew, or cold-pressed), and the portafilter (AKA the longer piece which serves as the main handle when you're grinding the beans and ready to brew your coffee). Thankfully, comes with the double basket installed already.

How much counter space does it take up?

Jasmine Williams

The Ninja Espresso Machine doesn't take up as much space as I thought it would — and that's great because I live in an apartment, so that real estate is very limited in my kitchen. I was able to place it on the smaller counter by stove and still have room to place my coffee essentials next to it. But if you want to create a coffee corner, I definitely suggest placing it on a longer surface.

Do I need to use pre-ground coffee or whole beans?

Jasmine Williams

This is a great question! I usually skip the instructions when putting something together (that rushed mom life, you know?), but decided to because I didn't want to mess anything up.

It's easy to reach for pre-ground coffee, but this machine specifically requires whole beans because of the grinder feature. If you're worried about added time from the grind, don't — it really doesn't take long for the beans to be ground!

Do I have to use whole milk for the frother, or can I use something plant-based?

Jasmine Williams

You can actually use both! The cool thing about the Nina Espresso Maker is you can change the settings to whole or plant-based milk when you want to use the frothing feature! I just prefer to stick with unsweetened almond milk because it doesn't irritate my digestive system and has 0 grams of sugar in it!

Final Thoughts:

Jasmine Williams

The Ninja Espresso Maker has converted me into a coffee drinker who doesn't have to leave her house for the latest Starbucks fall drinks — or at least not all the time. 😉 The included QR code on top of the machine helped me see step-by-step installation and brewing guides, so that's a welcomed bonus that continues to make regular use so much easier.

I will say that you have to test the hardness of your water and run a pre-cycle before using the machine. A water test strip is included in the box, and this process takes a couple of minutes to do. Once you're ready to run the pre-cycle, fill the water reservoir on the side is place a 10 or 12 oz. cup under the portafilter and press brew. When the cup is full after a few minutes, dump the water in the sink and you'll be ready to brew your first cup of espresso, classic brew, latte, or ice coffee!

Ultimately, while I don't care for drinking espresso, that feature works for my Domincan fiancé — it's perfect for getting him that shot of flavor and energy some he craves in the morning. Otherwise, for all other coffee-making endeavors, I give the Ninja Expresso Maker a 5 out of 5 rating! It really has something for all coffee lovers, and it takes than less than five minutes to have a cup of cold or warm deliciousness! BRB while I brew something for my Gilmore Girls rewatch...

There was a 99 percent chance that anyone who watched TV in the 1990s watched a rotation of sitcoms. I, for one, lived and breathed sitcoms; that is, before streaming came along (I’m only human). Now, instead of waiting until 9pm on a Thursday, you can watch your favorite ’90s shows whenever and wherever you want.

Here are 17 hilarious ’90s TV shows that are da bomb (I’m so sorry) you can stream in 2025!

1. Freaks and Geeks

NBC

Freaks and Geeks is the pinnacle definition of ‘cult classic,’ if there ever was one. Cancelled after only one season, the show regained popularity through the years, due in large part to streaming. And it’s no wonder why, as it shows the first-hand awkwardness that is navigating high school. Freaks and Geeks offers other things as well… such as a very young Linda Cardellini, James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segal, Busy Phillips, and Samm Levine. If any filmmakers are reading this — how about a modern day Freaks and Geeks reboot?? Freaks and Geeks is streaming on Hulu.

2. Will & Grace

NBC/IMDb

The ’90s weren’t all bad. Sure, there were some pretty heinous outfit choices made, and all of society collectively decided they needed a grunge phase (at the same time), but it did give us Will & Grace. Will & Grace gave us one of the first mainstream sitcoms to feature openly gay main characters. Its witty humor along with relatable characters, and all around great dialogue, makes it stand the test of time. Will & Grace is streaming on Hulu.

3. Friends

NBC

Friends may be the most unrealistic show, in terms of a bunch of 20-somethings living in grand, spacious apartments in one of the most expensive cities in the world, but it’s realistic in how it portrays friendships and the rollercoaster of dealing with jobs, love, and life in New York City. After all, it is a classic, and if you haven’t seen this show, you haven’t experienced the peak of ’90s sitcoms. Friends is streaming on Hulu, Max, and Prime Video.

4. That ’70s Show

Fox

That ’70s Show may or may not have been the first ’90s show I was exposed to, but that’s beside the point, and might I add, ironic. The show’s nostalgic 70s setting is a character in and of itself and shows that teenagers will be teenagers, no matter the decade. That ’70s Show is streaming on Peacock.

5. Family Matters

ABC

Family Matters blessed us with the iconic character of Steve Urkel, and decades of a go-to Halloween costume for many. While the show may have started in 1989, it’s an essential and memorable sitcom that had its main run in the ’90s. Family Matters is truly all that and a bag of chips – that was my sad attempt at trying this decade’s lingo. Family Matters is streaming on Disney+, Hulu, and Max.

6. Seinfeld

NBC/IMDb

Most know it as the show about nothing, but Seinfeld gave us everything. It took trivial events and churned them into a decade of iconic and famous lines, hysterical characters and arguably the best guest appearances on a sitcom, from Jennifer Coolidge as Jerry's masseuse girlfriend to Bryan Cranston as Jerry’s less-than-ethical dentist. Seinfeld is streaming on Netflix.

7. The Simpsons

Fox

Though The Simpsons is still running today, the ’90s were the decade that it truly shined, so much so that the particular decade is considered The Simpsons’ “golden age” with Bart Simpson becoming a quintessential ’90s character. As funny and entertaining as the comedy series is, it’s also become quite the pop culture predictor, making it all the more amusing to watch it back now. The Simpsons is streaming on Disney+.

8. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air

NBC

Will Smith was one of the decade's charming and notable heartthrobs, and what better way to see him in all his glory than by watching The Fresh Prince of Bel Air? It was the sitcom that catapulted Smith into superstardom and was a decade hit due to its exploration of real-world topics. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air is streaming on Hulu and Max.

9. The Nanny

CBS

Fran Drescher is that girl. She made us “over-the-top personality” girls feel seen. Not only that, but comedy itself is timeless and should be enjoyed for generations to come. Incidentally, Drescher’s character has an amazing fashion sense, so this show is a 2-for-1 viewing experience – you get a fashion show within a sitcom, and what’s better than that? The Nanny is streaming on Peacock.

10. Boy Meets World

ABC

Before the modern day coming-of-age genre (think Sex Education) came Boy Meets World – a sitcom that follows a boy and his friend and love interest through middle school into college. Better yet, this series was so good that it aired on Friday nights. The beloved characters alone makes the show worth the watch. Boy Meets World is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

11. Ally McBeal

Fox

If you likeLegally Blonde, you’ll love Ally McBeal. Ally is a young, blonde, hot mess lawyer working at a Boston law firm called Cage & Fish – ring any bells? Ally McBeal is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

12. Sabrina the Teenage Witch

ABC/The WB

Imagine dealing with your teenage struggles but on top of that, you have to control magical powers – yeah, you might not live that IRL, but Sabrina the Teenage Witch shows you what it's like! In all honesty, Sabrina the Teenage Witch is as iconic as they come. Its legacy has been felt in every generation that’s followed – who doesn’t know Salem, the talking, black cat? Sabrina the Teenage Witch is streaming on Hulu, Disney+, and Paramount+.

13. Full House

ABC

If I had a dollar for every series that technically started in the late ’80s, but didn’t gain their popularity until the ’90s, I’d have, like, $10. Full House first premiered in 1987, but by the time the ’90s rolled around it had become an American household staple. Most of the show’s run was in the ’90s, and it later gave us movies such as Passport to Paris simply due to casting the Olsen twins. Thank you, Full House. Full House is streaming on Disney+, Prime Video, and Max.

14. Sister, Sister

ABC/The WB

I’m going to throw it back real quick – this show was originally part of the TGIF programming on ABC – that’s right, I’m talking about Sister, Sister. This show is a nostalgic favorite with Tia and Tamera Mowry, who, in my mind, are the sisters of the late ’90s and early 2000s. Sister, Sister is streaming onDisney+, Hulu, and Paramount+.

15. The King of Queens

CBS

Who doesn’t love Kevin James? On second thought, don’t answer that. The King of Queens is certainly an acquired taste, bordering on the line of “I don’t want to admit this is funny, but it is.” But it has our girl Leah Remini and that’s reason enough to give it a watch. The King of Queens is streaming on Paramount+ and Peacock.

16. Wings

NBC

Wings flew under the radar in the ’90s, no pun intended, as it didn’t amass the same following as other shows like Friends, but it had a loyal following due to its sharp dialogue and loveable characters. The backdrop alone is all the more reason to watch this ’90s series today – Wings follows two brothers, Joe and Brian Hackett, who run a small airline in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Need I say more? Wings is streaming on Paramount+ and Prime Video.

17. Sex and The City

HBO

Yes, I’m labeling Sex and The City as a comedy, and deservedly so. I love this show, call me basic! It blends romance, drama, and comedy beautifully together, all with the glitz and glam of New York City essentially as its own character. Sex and The City transports you to a different environment and, dare I say, is an elevated version of Friends.Sex and The City is streaming on Hulu, Max, Netflix, and Prime Video.

When I opened my Instagram feed and saw a picture of Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal together again, my first reaction was "AH!" — especially since they're sitting on a couch, just like they do at the end of When Harry Met Sally. Not to mention the fact Billy's wearing a pullover very similar to his iconic cable knit sweater in the rom-com. The duo announced they're reuniting for a special surprise and fans are convinced there's only one thing that surprise could be: a 2025 Super Bowl commercial.

Here's everything we know about Meg Ryan & Billy Crystal's When Harry Met Sally reunion.

Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal made a joint Instagram post on January 22 teasing a big surprise. "It’s finally happening, we’re reuniting for something iconic," Meg says in the caption. "Can’t wait to show you all soon 💙."

My favorite thing about the post (aside from the surprise, obviously) is the fact that Meg and Billy are in outfits their When Harry Met Sally characters would totally approve of. Meg's blazer and button down and Billy's white cable knit sweater? Say no more!

Now we're sure to find out what this surprise is soon, but that hasn't stopped fans from making a lot of guesses.

"I bet it’s a Super Bowl ad ❤️," one user comments, while another agrees, "I need a sequel (but I’m thinking it’s a Super Bowl commercial?)."

Although a third comment totally summarizes how I'm feeling: "IT’S HAPPENING OH MY GOD EVERYONE REMAIN CALM."

Bleecker Street

The last time we saw Meg Ryan onscreen, it was for her latest rom-com What Happens Later. The movie follows two exes who spend a night of adventure together when they're stranded at an airport.

“It’s a different story than when you’re in your 20s,” Meg told Glamour. “I wanted to make something beautiful and offer a new way of thinking about what love is.”

And this new movie connects to her other films, like When Harry Met Sally, because “whatever was happening, they were destined to find one another," she continues. "There’s a comfort in the kismet and the idea of an inevitable connection. It’s a wonderland idea. It’s an enchanted idea.”

And old school media lovers are living large because this isn't the only reunion we've gotten lately! At the beginning of December, Gilmore Girls fans were in for a treat when Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson reunited as Luke and Lorelai for a Walmart commercial (alongside Sean Gunn as Kirk, naturally).

The commercial features Luke and Lorelai standing in Luke's diner talking all things "coffee coffee coffee," with Luke in his signature flannel and Lor wearing a sherpa jacket she'd be all over in 2025.

It all started when Lauren Graham teased the collab on Instagram, saying she had "something brewing." And Scott's post that he was "back at #LukesDiner for something really special," fans picked up on it. "KING LUKE WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!?!?" one user commented. "I’m ready for whatever this is ☕️ 😍," a second added.
