12 Looks from the VMAs That You Could Totally Pull Off IRL

If you tuned into the VMAs last night, then you already know that it was one for the books. No surprise, Miley Cyrus nailed it with her superb (if not slightly cray-cray) hosting antics. Taylor brought her entire #girlgang as her special guests of the night and, as usual, Kanye shared some words of wisdom as he accepted the Video Vanguard Award from none other than T-Swift herself. Enough about the show highlights though — what we really want to discuss is the fashion. We’ve pulled together 12 of our favorite looks from the VMAs that you can replicate on your next outing.

1. ASOS Twist Knit Jumpsuit ($63): No stranger to flaunting jumpsuits on the regular, Kourtney proves yet again that a red-hot one-piece is just as chic as any dress that makes an appearance on the red carpet. You go, girl. (Photo via Jason Merritt/Getty)

2. Hadley Dress ($258): THAT slit. Gigi Hadid absolutely stunned with her long-sleeved, goldenrod-colored dress that not only had a plunging neckline, but put her gorgeous stems on display. You, too, can pull a Gigi with this midi-length dress from Reformation that takes on a slightly more toned-down vibe. (Photo by Jason Merritt/Getty)

3. Shine on Sequin Star Dress ($30): Our favorite model-turned-actress, Cara Delevingne, totally rocked it in a star-studded black mini dress. No accessories needed, because her frock was just that fab. For a similar look, this black cami dress with sequined stars would be perfect for a night of dancing. (Photo by Jason Merritt/Getty)

4. Lace Grid Dress ($252): It looks like Kylie Jenner pulled a solid Kardashian move by sporting a Balmain dress similar to the ones that Kim has worn during pre-pregnancy days. The verdict: She looked so good. For a fraction of the price, this beaded and sequined number above is guaranteed to wow on all fronts. (Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty)

5. Peep-Toe Lace-Up Over-the-Knee Boots ($120): Let’s just say that Emily Ratajkowski has now got us verrry excited for fall weather. Her lace-up, over-the-knee boots brought a major #girlboss ‘tude to her dress with a daring slit. Make the look yours by pairing lace-up boots with cutoff denim shorts now and a maxi skirt in the upcoming season. (Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty)

6. Floral Print Cross-Back Bralet ($16): Jeannie Mai’s two-piece floral combo had a lot going on — BUT in the best possible way. Allow this floral bralet from Missguided to do all the talking by mixing-and-matching it with easy-going separates. (Photo by Larry Busacca/Getty)

7. Vanessa Cut Out Slinky Midi Dress ($35): What’s black and sleek with cutouts allover? All signs point to this smokin’ LBD that Rocsi Diaz rocked with major panache. In a sea of LBDs that we’ve seen a million times (yawn), this one def stood out. (Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty)

8. Eagle Rock Collar Dress ($115): Peter Pan collars at the VMAs? Can do, indeed — or, at least, Molly Tarlov sure did. If you’re digging the prim and proper look as much as we are, then this floral collared number from Emily Schuman’s Cupcakes and Cashmere line will do the trick. Style with flats or heels for an easy day-to-night look. (Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty)

9. Black Glitter Box Clutch ($60): Mahogany Lox’s accessory of the night was so clutch. Literally. While this black glittery clutch from River Island isn’t adorned with any cool catch-phrases, it is ultra-sparkly — enough to get anyone’s attention at a black tie event. (Photo by Jason Merritt/Getty)

10. Lace Top ($30): Newcomer Tori Kelly kept it refreshingly simple by opting for an all-black ensemble. Besides her enviable curls and short shorts, her black lace top is what really kept us staring. We’re happy to let you know that Zara has a strikingly similar option that is sure to lend an ultra-feminine touch to any outfit. (Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty)

11. Call Out Lace Dress ($58): FKA Twigs did not disappoint. We literally can’t take our eyes off of her barely-there, put-it-all-on-display peekaboo dress. While most of us probably won’t be showing that much skin anytime soon, we did uncover a similar (read: slightly more modest) alternative. Pull out your most lacy underthings — this black mini dress from Nasty Gal is ready to come out and play. (Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty)

12. Curved Bar Collar Necklace ($13): “Bad Blood” girl Hailee Steinfeld sported a killer gold choker last night. To test-drive this fashion-forward trend, consider investing in Forever 21’s collar stunner for a game-changing look. (Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty)

My iTunes library is filled with music from '90s boy band *NSYNC and I'm proud of it. As much as I adore the Backstreet Boys, my stance is firm - *NSYNC will forever be the group that unlocks the romantic feelings in my heart. Fun fact: my mom and sister have core memories of me singing "Every little thing I do, never seems enough for you..." at the top of my lungs.

That's why this '90s baby has been squealing with excitement over *NSYNC's reunion at Justin Timberlake's LA Concert last week and the fact they made another recent appearance to support him! If you're as much of an *NSYNC fan as I am, have no fear because all the details are here!

Did *NSYNC Appear At Justin Timberlake's Album Release Party?

OMG, they did! It shouldn't come as a surprise because they've been working hard BTS to surprise fans, but our hearts cannot be still. Held on March 14th at Dan Tana's in West Hollywood, Justin Timberlake's album release party had the spirit of a friendly kickback with close friends, good food, and a DJ set that created amazing vibes.

Yes! Justin Timberlake was seen posing next to his bandmates Chris Kilpatrick and Lance Bass during his album release party. They looked like they could barely contain their own excitement which makes us feel like they're way past the friendship stage. They're camaraderie feels like a brotherhood at this point.

How Did Justin Timberlake Surprise Concert Goers With An Appearance BY NYSNC?

During a portion of his free concert in LA, Justin Timberlake stood onstage as curtains opened behind him to reveal his bandmates JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kilpatrick singing their hit songs "Gone," "It's Gonna Be Me," and "Bye Bye Bye" much to the crowd's delight.

Kirbie Johnson, host of the Gloss Angeles podcast, was one of many who shared her enthusiasm on Instagram. Towards the end of her caption she wrote, "Whatever brain synapses were firing back when I was 13 were back in full force last night. They sounded AMAZING!"

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were also in the house, and it seems like they had the best date night ever! She posted a series of videos on Instagram Story and could be seen fangirling while belting *NSYNC's lyrics along with them. John Legend looked just as excited which shows the impact *NSYNC has on people.

Once the performance was over, JT took to Instagram to share a photo of five empty barstools onstage with the caption "That was fun. Let’s do it again soon. 😁."

Does *NSYNC Have a New Song Together?

www.instagram.com

Following the release of "Better Place"for the Trolls Band Together soundtrack, *NSYNC was working on gearing up for the release of their new song together that's featured on Justin Timberlake's upcoming album Everything I Thought It Was. Titled "PARADISE," it features their signature harmony that has a nostalgic, yet modern blend I can see myself listening to a ridiculous amount of times.

All I'm going to say is that I'm jealous of anyone who got to see *NSYNC perform "PARADISE" in person last night.

When's The Last Time *NYSNC Performed Together?

Image via Scott Gries/ImageDirect

Even though there was a special *NSYNC reunion at last year's VMA awards, Peoplementioned that the group's last live performance was at the 2013 VMAs. That means we'd been living without their beautiful voices for almost a decade! The horror!

If it happens, how would feel about going to the NSYNC reunion tour?

Scream 6 was one of the hottest movies of 2023, and we've been looking forward to Scream 7 since the credits started rolling! Even though we won't see Melissa Barrera return, I'm super excited to see Neve Campbell return as Sidney Prescott — and it looks like in addition to Friends star Courteney Cox stepping back into Gale Weathers' shoes, we'll also be seeing a beloved Yellowstone universe star taking on a brand new role.

Keep reading for the latest Scream 7 news — and everything you need to know about the cast.

Is Sidney going to be in Scream 7?

Brownie Harris/Paramount Pictures

Scream 7 Cast

Yes, Sidney Prescott will be in Scream 7! “Sidney Prescott is coming back!!!!” franchise lead Neve Campbell says on Instagram. “It’s always been such a blast and an honor to get to play Sidney in the ‘Scream’ movies. My appreciation for these films and for what they have meant to me, has never waned. I’m very happy and proud to say I’ve been asked, in the most respectful way, to bring Sidney back to the screen and I couldn’t be more thrilled.”

The actress was not involved in Scream 6 due to salary inequity. "As a woman I have had to work extremely hard in my career to establish my value, especially when it comes to ‘Scream,'" she told Variety ahead of the sixth movie's release. "I felt the offer that was presented to me did not equate to the value I have brought to the franchise."

Who else is in the cast of Scream 7?

Brownie Harris/Paramount Pictures

In addition to Neve Campbell, we'll see Isabel May (who you'll recognize from the Yellowstone prequels 1883 and 1923) appear as Neve's onscreen daughter. We could also see Courteney Cox reprise her role as Gale Weathers, via Variety.

However, we won't see onscreen sisters Melissa Barrera or Jenna Ortega in Scream 7. It was announced in November 2023 that Melissa would no longer star in the franchise following her posts on the Isreal-Hamas war, while Jenna's absence has been attributed to Wednesday season 2 scheduling conflicts.

When is Scream 7 coming out?

Philippe Bossé/Paramount Pictures

Scream 7 Release Date

Scream 7 will hit theaters on February 27, 2026. This is an unexpectedly perfect release date because nothing sends a shiver down my spine like winter (and Ghostface of course).

What is Scream 7 going to be about?

Brownie Harris/Paramount Pictures

Scream 7 Plot

We don't have an official plot for Scream 7 quite yet, but I'm feeling confident we'll see Sidney Prescott and (hopefully) Gale Weathers take down another Ghostface. Scream 6 co-writer Guy Busick has the sole writing credit on this new script, as well as Melissa Barrera's 2024 movieAbigail.

Is Scream 7 confirmed?

Brownie Harris/Paramount Pictures

Yes, Scream 7 is officially happening! After Scream 6 (which was released in March 2023) became the highest-grossing movie of the whole franchise, a sequel was announced in August of that year. Kevin Williamson, writer for the original 1996 Scream, will direct.

Who do you hope to see in Scream 7? Check back here — and our Facebook! — for the latest news on your favorite movies.

Think of music videos like tiny movies. Whether they're creative concepts like "Satellite" by Harry Styles or they draw inspo from actual movies Ariana Grande's "thank u, next," they're always creative and they're *always* fun to watch. This year, our favorite artists — including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, SZA, and Olivia Rodrigo — were nominated for all kinds of awards and ended up taking home some pretty big wins. Keep reading to watch everything that was nominated for "Video of the Year" and to see if your favorite artist won!

Megan Thee Stallion And Justin Timberlake Had A Moment Backstage

www.tiktok.com

I just talk with my hands lol 💁🏽‍♀️see ya next time @Justin Timberlake

Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake went viral during the awards show for a backstage exchange. While fans jumped to the conclusion that the two artists were fighting, in reality, they were just joking around!

"She had her makeup people there...and they were all doing her up," Chris Kirkpatrick says on a new episode of the Johnny's House podcast. "Justin walks over like, 'Hey do me now.' She turned and looked and realized it was Justin and...freaked out. And she was wagging her finger at him and was like 'No, not like this. I can't meet you like this.'"

The duo ended up taking a picture and filming a TikTok together and are very clearly not fighting. "I just talk with my hands," Megan captioned the video.

Kelsea Ballerini Did The Most Insane Costume Change

www.youtube.com

Kelsea Ballerini - "Penthouse" | 2023 VMAs

We already loved how absolutely adorable Kelsea and Chase Stokes were on the carpet, but this performance totally wowed us! While obviously she looked and sounded gorgeous, the most shocking moment was her INCREDIBLE costume change from her white gown to a shorter black dress. When someone figures out how she did it, *please* let us know!!!

Fall Out Boy Came Out & Everyone's Elder Emo Jumped Out

www.youtube.com

Fall Out Boy - "We Didn't Start The Fire" | 2023 VMAs

Who didn't scream-sing Fall Out Boy when they were younger? Content Editor Haley Sprankle may or may not have played "Sugar We're Goin' Down" during the cake cutting at her wedding. Regardless, their cover of "We Didn't Start The Fire" was so fun!

Shakira Earned The Vanguard Award

Shakira - "Hips Don't Lie" / "Objection (Tango)" / "Whenever, Wherever" & More | 2023 VMAs

Though we *do* wish she woulda played "Waka Waka," we've honestly never been let down by a Shakira performance, and we certainly weren't tonight. The "Hips Don't Lie" icon danced the night away on the VMAs stage, showing everyone why she's the Vanguard Award winner tonight!

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion Slayed "Bongos"

Cardi B feat. Megan Thee Stallion - "Bongos" | 2023 VMAs

These baddies bodied their VMA set, to nobody's surprise. In gorgeous blue bodices (a hue we've seen all over runways and street style alike this season), Megan and Cardi brought the heat, dancing their a*ses off. BRB while I try to get my hair to look like that tomorrow!

Olivia Rodrigo Performed "Vampire" and "get him back"

www.youtube.com

Olivia Rodrigo - "vampire" / "get him back" | 2023 VMAs

On the heels of her Gutsalbum drop *and* new music video for "get him back," Olivia Rodrigo took the VMAs stage in New Jersey. Her vocals were stunning, paired with beautiful visuals + choreography. One shocking moment? Fans couldn't tell if she was escorted off stage for real, or if it was a part of the show. Seems as if it was all according to plan, given her cheeky smile and unshaken demeanor, but regardless — we're so glad she's alright!

NSYNC Reunited To Present The First Award Of The Night

www.youtube.com

*NSYNC Presents Taylor Swift w/ Best Pop Award | 2023 VMAs

Boy band OGs, NSYNC reunited Tuesday night to present the award for Best Pop Music Video. Everyone was absolutely gagged to see the quintet on stage together, even though the reunion was rumored for a while. While we didn't wanna say bye, bye, bye to them too soon, we were happy to see Miss Taylor Swift take the stage with her first win of the evening for the "Anti-Hero" music video.

Funny enough, the queen of easter eggs had the audacity to question what this auspicious reunion meant, saying, "They're gonna do something, and I need to know what it is." Oh how the turns have tabled, Tay. 😉

Designing the perfect home is like self-care. Our spaces are increasingly evolving into our personal sanctuaries as more of us blend our living and working spaces. In 2025, this trend will continue, transforming homes into multifunctional havens: wellness retreats, gathering spots, hubs of tech convenience, and true reflections of personal style. "Creating a personal space and putting your signature on your home to create something unique will be a 2025 trend," says Lily Li, an interior designer from San Francisco's BoConcept. Gone are the generic, cookie cutter designs we see everywhere. 2025 will be all about you and what you love.

Here are top design trends for 2025, according to a recent Home Lifestyles 2025 report from global trend forecaster WGSN, plus our favorite 2025 trends buzzing on the home decor scene!

Keep reading for the top design trends for next year.

Little Luxuries

Lulu & Georgia

Even on a budget, we love to treat ourselves to a little bit of fancy. Think plush throws, high-thread-count bedding, or a curated collection of decadent candles. This trend celebrates everyday indulgences by incorporating small, meaningful upgrades into your home. Statement lighting and mirrors like this Sarah Sherman Samuel Rook Mirror; handmade pottery; even small touches, like gold-rimmed coupe glasses or elegant trays for organizing your essentials, that elevate the ordinary. This is all about feeling sophisticated yet totally cozy.

Individual Expression

Rebel Walls

Individual expression embraces personal style over following trends. More people will look within for their home decor style, celebrating unique, curated spaces filled with meaningful pieces, like vintage finds, DIY projects, and bold color choices. It’s about telling *your* story through design and turning your home into a one-of-a-kind reflection of your personality, passions, and experiences.

Elevated 70s Vibes

Design: A1000XBetter | Photo: Michael P.H. Clifford

Wood drenching is back from the '70s with a more grown-up look. Resurfacing are elevated designs and quality woods with '70s decor like sleek chrome lamps, shag rugs, chenille, and burgundy. Disco lamps optional.

Return Of Post-Modernism

CB2

CB2 Bodene Ivory Resin Coffee Table

Inspired by 1980s post-modernism, AKA "the designer decade," everything from coffee tables to sofas are coming out with unique shapes and unexpected designs. Look for more sculptural pieces that play together with a still-minimal vibe.

Asymmetrical Rugs

Etsy

Etsy Handtufted Irregular Shaped Rug

Hopping on the curve trend are rugs in 2025. Play with your wooly shapes for a more organic look.

Intentional Design

As more people become concerned about climate change, WGSN expects 2025 will bring more services that help us reuse and repair. Things like refillable beauty products, climatarian cuisine (food chosen based on its carbon footprint), and products and services that encourage DIY, resale and repair will be big in 2025. Choosing quality pieces that will stand the test of time and even incorporating vintage pieces for their uniqueness and sustainability factor will be part of this trend.
