Hailee Steinfeld’s Go-To Outfit Is Basically the Same as Yours

Hailee Steinfeld has all but taken over the style scene in recent years, slaying red carpets left and right (see: the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party or the 2017 AMAs). But her biggest wardrobe staple is a basic you probably already have in your closet.

“Honestly, when it comes to basics? A good white tee and a good pair of jeans,” she tells Brit + Co, citing Levi’s — the same denim brand that outfitted the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan for the family’s Christmas card — as her favorite.

The “Love Myself” singer is equally chill when it comes to her beauty routine — at least when she’s living out of a bus, like she will be from July through September when she joins Charlie Puth on their joint summer tour. “Hydrating, moisturizer, and a little under-eye concealer,” she laughs ticking off her travel secrets.

The answers, while surprisingly practical, are ones that would likely make her newest film character proud. Come December 21, we’ll see Steinfeld make her debut in The Transformers franchise as teenage mechanic Charlie Watson in Bumblebee, a prequel to the original 2007 Transformers film.

Though it’s a role that differs vastly from her last big screen stint as Emily Junk in Pitch Perfect 2 and 3, it’s one that Steinfeld, 21, was immediately attracted to. “She’s a bit of a tomboy. [She has a] sort of edge [and a] respect for herself that I was really drawn to,” she says. “It’s the sort of complexity that a real teenage has.”

For now, though, the “Let Me Go” singer is laser-locked in on her other day (and night!) gig: her music career. And, with her sophomore album on the way and a guest advisor spot alongside Kelly Clarkson on an upcoming episode of The Voice, things will only heat up from here.

“Right now, music is the main focus,” she shares. “[Touring] really truly is a lifestyle. [It’s] amazing, I love every single second of it — every single night you’re in front of fans and you get to interact and connect with them through music.”

In short? It’s fun. “Pieces of advice like, ‘Have fun’ or ‘Don’t take things too seriously,’ really resonated with me,” she says. “I think just staying true to yourself is one of the most important things anyone can do in any [kind of] work.”

For Steinfeld, that includes celebrating the everyday little things that make her happy: like, say, cereal, for instance. In fact, when we speak to her, she’s actually at the Kellogg’s Café in NYC to help pay homage to one of her favorite foods with a live performance.

“Anyone who knows me knows that I have a crazy obsession with cereal, so it only felt right to pair up with Kellogg’s and celebrate,” she says, adding, “You can never go wrong with Frosted Flakes.”

Will Blake Lively Join Taylor Swift At The Super Bowl Amidst 'It Ends With Us' Drama?

Taylor Swift might have "not a lot going on at the moment" (she did just wrap up the Eras Tour, you know), but Blake Lively is juggling Another Simple Favor, her Justin Baldoni legal battle, and a second lawsuit from Justin's crisis PR firm. But despite her packed schedule and public beef, according to reports, Blake still has the popstar's invite to watch the 2025 Super Bowl, which will see Taylor's BF Travis and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs battle against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Any Taylor Swift fan will remember last year's Big Game, which featured Tay in a stunning black bodysuit and high ponytail combo, and Blake in a red tracksuit.

"Last week I left my kids for the first time ever and wore pants that were shoes," Blake said in an Instagram post after the 2024 Super Bowl. "I took pictures upside down and had no clue. I treated a friendship bracelet like a Flat Stanley for my husband like I didn’t realize it wasn’t ‘07. I borrowed more jewelry than the skeleton in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. And I went clubbing. Now I know what my episode of the Twilight Zone would look like."

According to The US Sun, Taylor's sending invites to Blake and Ryan Reynolds, as well as Ice Spice, Sabrina Carpenter, Selena Gomez, and Benny Blanco. "Taylor would like to have some of her close friends and family all together and be there to show love and support her man," an insider says. That's going to be one star-studded box!

However, other sources are saying Blake's starting the rumor about being invited to the Super Bowl...and that she won't actually be there. According to a blind item, Blake "is the one leaking stories that she is going to be in the suite next week with the A+ list singer. That isn't going to happen." We'll have to tune into the Big Game on February 9 to find out.

A Super Bowl invitation would definitely make it seem like things are good as gold between Taylor and Blake, who were rumored to be feuding after Blake allegedly called Taylor one of her "dragons" in a text.

The text in question came after Taylor reportedly joined a meeting between Blake, Ryan Reynolds, and Justin Baldoni after the It Ends With Us director had less-than-ideal feedback to Blake's script rewrite.

An insider told DailyMailthat "for the time being she is taking a step back from Blake because she doesn’t want to get tangled in this more than she already has – which is far more than she ever needed to be. Her friends also think that Blake’s 'I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have dragons' text to Justin was uncool and unnecessary because she was essentially used as an intimidation tactic. She was referred to as some kind of pet or possession."

But thanks to a Page Six insider, we also know those feud rumors are supposedly "not true." Here's hoping that's true.

Gisele and Joaquim were also waiting until giving birth to find out the baby's gender, and a source tells People the couple welcomed a baby boy. Stay tuned from an official announcement from the couple — if they choose to share, of course. The source also reveals the baby's middle name is River, which continues the tradition of Gisele choosing water-related middle names for her kids!

"Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they're looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family," a source told People in the fall of 2024.
