Halloween-Themed Clothes from ASOS So Cute You’ll Want to Wear Them Year Round

Halloween is around the corner, and we can always trust ASOS to have super cute Halloween-themed clothing and accessories. Whether you want to dress spooky every day in October, or just want an alternative to wearing a punny costume, ASOS has you covered. This year is chock full of cute animal ears and funny t-shirts; we basically want them all.

If you follow along on B+C, you’ve seen and admired our canine model, Turkey Temple (one of my favorite pet names, TBH). He is definitely a turkey by trade but clearly not by species. It seems like an obvious choice, but this was Turkey’s first time dressing up as a turkey for Halloween. Spooky season might be over, but it's *always* a good idea to dress your dog up for Thanksgiving if they don't mind!!

Keep reading for the cutest and easiest DIY dog turkey costume!

I’ve been making a lot of pet costumes this year, but this one has been high on my list for a long time. With some felt and One-Wrap Velcro, we created this pet costume in no time at all. How To Make A Dog Turkey Costume

Tools And Materials:

  • red, orange, yellow and white felt
  • cardboard
  • One-Wrap Velcro
  • pen
  • fabric scissors
  • hot glue gun

Instructions:

1. Draw large, long oval feathers on your yellow felt. Stack the yellow felt on top of the orange felt and cut them both out. Next, draw a curved rectangular shape on the white felt and cut it out.

2. Hot glue the white rectangular shapes to the feathers, then glue the feathers to one another to create a fan shape.

3. Glue a horizontal strip of cardboard to the back of the feathers to help them stand upright.

4. Hot glue a piece of felt to each edge of the feathers and attach a strip of One-Wrap Velcro that is long enough to wrap around your dog’s belly.

5. Cut out a gobble from red felt and attach some One-Wrap Velcro.

Draw 12 long feathers on your yellow felt. Stack the yellow felt on top of the orange felt and cut out your feathers. Cut 12 white curved rectangular pieces to accent the feathers.

Glue the white pieces to the feathers and then glue the feathers to one another into a fan shape.

Attach a long strip of cardboard to the back of the feathers to help them stand up straight once the dog turkey costume is assembled.

Hot glue a piece of felt to each edge of the feathers and attach a strip of One-Wrap Velcro that is long enough to wrap around your dog’s belly.

Draw a gobble onto a piece of red felt, cut it out and glue it to a small piece of One-Wrap Velcro.

Hey Turkey — here’s your turkey costume!

Attach the gobble to your dog by wrapping the One-Wrap Velcro around the collar.

Cutest turkey I ever did see!

Babe wake up, Knives Out 3 is officially on its way! It's been almost two years since we saw Benoit Blanc solve his second case in Netflix's Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The film (which stars Janelle Monae, Madelyn Cline, and Kathryn Hahn) followed a case of secret identities, intrigue, and also received an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay, NBD. On May 24, 2024 Netflix confirmed that Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery is coming, and on June 10, they confirmed filming began outside London!

Here's everything you need to know about Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, including a first look at the characters.

Your first official look at Josh O'Connor in 'Knives Out 3'

John Wilson/Netflix

All I've been able to think about since the first set pictures leaked (see below) is "move over Fleabag Hot Priest!" Our first official look at Josh O'Connor (whose character name we still don't know) and Daniel Craig's Benoit Blanc features the duo inside a cathedral with a seriously gloomy atmosphere. I'm willing to bet this is the middle of Benoit's investigation — and I'm hoping Josh is there every step of the way. Who knows; maybe that black jacket will be the new Chris Evans white sweater.

Our first look at Josh O'Connor on the set of Knives Out 3 totally confirmed my personal hope and theory the movie would be set around a graveyard, and it's also the second time Josh has played a priest. He starred in 2020's Emma as Mr. Elton!

Your first look at Benoit Blanc in 'Knives Out 3'

Netflix

Benoit Blanc is debuting a brand new look in the new Knives Out movie. The black and white filter goes perfectly with the Wake Up Dead Man title, and is also reminding me a bit of Frankenstein.

What is the movie Wake Up Dead Man about?

Lionsgate

Daniel Craig narrates the official Instagram announcement, saying, "In the beginning, the knives came out. Then, behold, the glass was shattered. But my most dangerous case yet is about to be revealed." The title Wake Up Dead Man definitely sounds scary, so I wouldn't be surprised if the story took place around a graveyard.

I'm expecting it to be extra spooky after actor Josh Brolin (who you'll recognize from Dune and as the voice of Thanos) told New York City Comic Con that the story "scared" him.

"I read it and I was just like, 'God, this is so well written. We just don't read things like this anymore,'" he said during the panel (via People). "It turned out that it was a cast, a lot of people who I had worked with, a lot of people who I loved and hadn't met yet, like Andrew Scott and Josh O'Connor, and people like that...Then doing it turned out, I mean, still one of my favorite jobs that I've ever had."

"I can't say what I played," he continued. "It scared me, which I wanted to be scared."

Is there going to be a Knives Out 3?

Image via Netflix

Yes, we're getting a Knives Out 3! Netflix bought the rights to at least two more Knives Out movies following the success of the first film in the fall of 2019. And on May 24, the official Instagram account confirmed the third movie, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, will be hitting our screens soon. The movie will feature Benoit Blanc's "most dangerous case yet."

When is Knives Out 3 coming out?

Netflix

Knives Out 3 is coming in 2025. While we don't have a specific release date yet, the title and graphics for Wake Up Dead Man is definitely giving spooky Halloween vibes. Hopefully we can add it to our list of our Favorite Halloween Movies!

Will Wake Up Dead Man be on Netflix?

Yes, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery will be available to stream on Netflix.

Who's in the cast of Knives Out 3?

Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images for The Met Museum/Vogue

Our first Knives Out 3 cast members are here! In addition to Daniel Craig, we'll see Challengers' Josh O’Connor and Priscilla's Cailee Spaeny. Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church are also in the cast of Wake Up Dead Man.

Considering the franchise has Madelyn Cline, Chris Evans, Janelle Monae, and Ana de Armas, I knew Netflix wouldn't disappoint!

Is Knives Out 1 connected to Knives Out 2?

Lionsgate

Knives Out 2 is a standalone sequel to the first Knives Out movie. So Daniel Craig's Benoit Blanc helps with each case, even if the rest of the characters don't know each other. I'm expecting Knives Out 3 to follow that same format.

What do you want to see in Knives Out 3? Let us know in the comments!

The ‘90s hails as one of the best decades for offering iconic pop culture moments, shows, and movies. But, it was an entirely different decade — one that was almost 26 years ago. Filmmakers hadn’t a clue what would change in our ever-evolving world, so I’ll cut them some slack there, but some movies have a premise that now makes you go, huh? And if you don't believe me, check out these '90s movies that I'm pretty sure wouldn't get made today.

Here are the ten '90s movies I think wouldn’t stand a chance with audiences if they were made today.

1. She’s All That (1999)

Miramax

She’s All That would not be all that if it were released in 2025in 2025. Starring Freddie Prinze Jr., who is not to blame at all for the controversial plot (we love Freddie), She’s All That reinforces the “nerdy girl turned prom queen by a popular jock” trope. In the end, the jock falls in love with her – shocker! Maybe we have She’s All That to thank for women in movies simply taking off their glasses and looking like looking like a totally different person – as if it’s ever that easy.

2. American Beauty (1999)

Dreamworks

American Beauty would make people cringe in their oversized, plush movie seats if it were to come out today. Ignoring the fact Kevin Spacey is the film’s protagonist, the premise is all kinds of creepy. A grown man becomes increasingly attracted to his daughter’s ((yes I said daughter)) friend as the movie courses through its two--hour runtime. Something in me tells me this romanticized version of perversion would definitely not be made today.

3. Forrest Gump (1994)

Paramount Pictures

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good viewing of Forrest Gump.. WhoWho doesn’t? It’s a classic tale about a man named Forrest, played by Tom Hanks, narrating audiences through his untamed life account. It’s virtually harmless, disregarding the fact that Hank’s character has an IQ of 75 as well as a physical disability. It’s hard to imagine modern audiences responding as well to this as it could be seen as a crude representation of people with disabilities. While it may not be made today, it’s an inspiring story nonetheless where Hank’s character wins in the end.

4. There’s Something About Mary (1998)

20th Century Fox

I recently took it upon myself to watch this "classic," and it was underwhelming and a tad jarring for multiple reasons. The most prominent was its main plot point of men stalking a woman strictly based on her looks. Not very demure, and definitely not very mindful!

5. American Pie (1999)

Universal Pictures

Where do I begin with American Pie? It may be blatant to most, but American Pie would be scrutinized to no end if it were released today, mainly due to its exploitative scenes and portrayal of teenage sexuality. It features scenes that were considered raunchy at the time – the BIG one being a teenager filming himself having sex with an unconsenting girl – but the humor doesn’t hold up (as it shouldn’t) and would face much more scrutiny if made today (as it should)... Nevertheless, it was a comical movie in its heyday.

6. Hackers (1995)

United Artists

Hackers wouldn’t be made in 2025 for one simple reason: the technology is far superior now. The concept of a group of teenagers hacking into a computer system is far too simplistic for younger audiences who probably delete scam text messages on the daily. It now reigns as a cult classic, but I’d like to think it’s purely for nostalgic sentiment.

7. Chasing Amy (1997)

Miramax

A man going after a lesbian woman who “transforms” into being straight, yeah I’m going to have to say this film is pretty dated.. While it pales in comparison to the backlash the film receives today, the film garnered criticism from the LGBTQ+ community soon after its release. According to Entertainment Weekly, Ellen DeGeneres walked out of a screening of the film in 1997.

8. Dazed and Confused (1993)

Gramercy Pictures

Dazed and Confused is considered a lighthearted cult classic, but the film wouldn’t be praised as such if it were made today. As years have gone by, the fictional context the film’s premise is built on isn’t so fictional today. There’s hazing, bullying, and sexual innuendos amongst teens that are featured in an outdated, insensitive light. All of this is portrayed as a fact of ’90s highschool life giving into the notion that things such as bullying is normal and accepted. Now, if those same plot points are in a film, they’re usually put into a negative light, as they should be. Nevertheless, Dazed and Confused remains a nostalgic 90s watch for a lot of viewers. After all, we have this movie to thank for the iconic Matthew McConaughey line “alright, alright, alright.”

9. Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)

20th Century Fox

As comical and heartwarming as Mrs. Doubtfire is, it has just as many red flags. In the midst of a divorce, a woman’s ex-husband invades her privacy and dresses up as their children’s nanny to spend time with them when he quite literally has a court order not to do so – oh? When you look at this film's plot with a bird’s eye view, it seems invasive and alarming, and that’s because it is. Though, I’m willing to forgive this film’s evident issues for the mere fact that Sally Field and Robin Williams are a dream team and gave wonderful performances in their respective roles.

10. Never Been Kissed (1999)

20th Century Fox

What was considered a cute rom-com in 1999, Never Been Kissed would now be considered quite the opposite. When watching, it’s easy to forget that Drew Barrymore’s character falls in love with a teacher, while she’s disguised as a teenage high school student. If your reaction was to be revolted, I can’t blame you. Let’s have this ‘90s film and its weird plot stay put in the past.
