GENERAL CONDITIONS: The Brit + Co HASK Hair Social Giveaway begins at 9 AM PST on 04/16/18 and ends at midnight PST on 06/15/18. The Promotion partners include Brit Media, Inc. (the “Sponsor”) ULTA Beauty, and HASK Hair (collectively the “Promotion Entities”). The Promotion and all entries, are subject to and governed by the Sponsor and its Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and the additional terms herein. By entering this Promotion, you agree to abide by the terms of these Official Promotion Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to a Promotion.
HOW TO ENTER: To participate in the Promotion, tag a friend in the comments of the Brit + Co Instagram or Facebook Post and be sure to follow both @britandco and @haskhair on Instagram or Facebook. Follow the entry instructions posted for the Promotion on the Brit + Co Instagram or Facebook post (“Promotion Description Page”). Any limitation on the number of entries per person will be stated in the Promotion Description Page. All entries become the property of Sponsor, and will not be returned once received by the Sponsor. By entering, each entrant grants Sponsor the right to disseminate information regarding the entries as part of Sponsor’s ongoing marketing and public relations efforts without compensation, notice to or approval from the entrant, unless prohibited by law. Each entrant shall take any additional steps reasonably requested by Sponsor in order to transfer and/or perfect the rights granted or warranted to Sponsor in these Official Promotion Rules.
ELIGIBILITY: Promotions are only open to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age at date of entry. Employees of Sponsor as well as their immediate family members and/or persons living in their households; as well as all of Sponsor’s agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to participate in any Promotion. Entrants who do not comply with these requirements or these Official Promotion Rules are not eligible to compete or win a prize. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. ALL U.S. FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
PROMOTION PERIOD; DEADLINE: The Promotion begins a 9 AM PST on 04/16/18 and ends at midnight PST on 06/15/18 (the “Promotion Period”). All dates are subject to change. Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeping device for this Promotion.
DRAWING METHOD & ODDS OF WINNING PROMOTION: Winners will be selected by random draw. Actual odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Sponsor will notify each winner of a contest or sweepstakes within fifteen (15) business days after the time and date listed on the Promotion Description Page via e-mail to the winner’s registered e-mail address (the “Winner Notification”). A winner must respond to the Winner Notification from his/her registered e-mail address within 48 hours of receipt of the Winner Notification and, in order to be eligible to accept a prize, must include in such response: (i) winner’s full legal name, (ii) current residential mailing address, (iii) phone number, and (iv) date of birth. If a winner fails to respond to the Winner Notification in the time and in the manner required, or if a Winner Notification is returned as undeliverable, such Winner will be disqualified and will be deemed to have forfeited his/her prize. It is the sole responsibility of an entrant to notify Sponsor of any changes in his/her name and/or address. Each winning entrant must sign and return any documents, if requested, within the time period stipulated by the Sponsor. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification. Any notification returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and the prize will be awarded to another entrant. In the event a winning entry is discovered to be invalid for any other reason whatsoever, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. In case of dispute as to the identity of any entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that such winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.
PRIZES: One (1) winner will receive one (1) years worth of products and a $100 gift card. A prize is non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash and may not be applied as a credit towards a different Sponsor offering. All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of a prize are the sole responsibility of a winner. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold any taxes as required by applicable law. Unless specifically stated otherwise, any third party prize providers have not sponsored this Promotion in any way.

RELEASE BY ENTRANTS: By entering the Promotion, each entrant indemnifies, releases and agrees to hold harmless Sponsor, Promotion Entities and each of their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, owners, employees from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, losses, or damages of any kind (including, but not limited to, consequential or punitive damages, those related to, personal injury, death, damage to property, infringement of proprietary rights, rights of publicity, or privacy or defamation, and attorney fees) arising out of or in connection with: (1) entering a Promotion; (2) acceptance or use of any prize; or (3) any other act or omission arising out of or relating to the Promotion.
PUBLICITY: If an entry is chosen by Sponsor as a Promotion winner, each winning entrant expressly consents to the use by Sponsor (without further permission or financial compensation) of such winner’s name and/or likeness, in any medium (including without limitation digital or hard copy), for publicity purposes in connection with the Promotion, for marketing and advertising purposes or for any other purpose that is not prohibited by law.
MISCONDUCT: Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify or refuse entry to any person who (i) tampers with the registration process, the operation of a Promotion or a Sponsor web site; (ii) acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy or harass another person; or (iii) is otherwise in violation of these Official Promotion Rules. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means and entry by any means which subvert the entry process will be void. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify from the Promotion and ban from any future Promotions, any person it believes to have intentionally violated these Official Promotion Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or to have tampered with any element of the Promotion without notice to the disqualified or banned person.
LEGAL WARNING: Any attempt to deliberately damage any online entry or website or to undermine the legitimate operations of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify such entrant and seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law.
GOVERNING LAW: Promotions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, applicable to contracts made and performed therein without reference to conflicts of law principles. All disputes related to any Promotion or these Official Promotion Rules will be arbitrated pursuant to the arbitration clause in Sponsor’s Terms of Use.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: Promotions and all related web pages and code are the property of Sponsor. Any copying or unauthorized use of Sponsor’s copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without Sponsor’s express written consent is strictly prohibited.
PRIVACY POLICY: Sponsor will collect, use, and disclose the personal information provided upon registration and entry into the Promotion in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, including but not limited to, sharing personal information with our third party promotional partners.
