Fall is here, y’all! You know what that means, right? ‘Tis the season for pumpkin EVERYTHING. It’s time to break out that blender because we’re showing you how to whip up Healthy Swirled Pumpkin Smoothies. They’re dairy-free, easy to make, and will satisfy any sweet tooth. No one has to know they’re good for you too! :)
Ingredients:
- 4 cups sliced bananas
- 3 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 Tablespoons maple syrup
- 3 teaspoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- assorted nuts, granola, and dried fruit for garnish
Instructions:
1. Place sliced bananas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze overnight, or for a few hours.
2. To make the vanilla smoothie layer, combine 1 cup frozen sliced bananas, 1 cup almond milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 tablespoon maple syrup in a blender. Blend until smooth.
3. To make the chocolate smoothie layer, combine 1 cup frozen sliced bananas, 1 cup almond milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, and cocoa powder in a blender. Blend until smooth.
4. To make the pumpkin smoothie layer, combine 2 cups frozen sliced bananas, 1 1/2 cups almond milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (feel free to add more to taste), and pumpkin in a blender. Blend until smooth.
5. Time to layer your smoothies! Fill a glass with a few spoonfuls of the pumpkin mixture. Top with a few spoonfuls of the vanilla mixture and continue to alternate. Repeat with the pumpkin and chocolate mixtures. Top your smoothies with nuts, granola, and some dried cranberries.

Top your smoothies with nuts, granola, and some dried cranberries.
We used pumpkin seeds and pecans for an extra festive touch, but feel free to get creative with your toppings.
