Here’s Everything We Know About Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Temporary Custody Agreement

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce has been seemingly anything but amicable thus far, with allegations of cheating and child abuse, as well as a scary death hoax to contend with.

For the next three weeks at least, the couple has agreed to play nice, however, striking a temporary custody agreement (effective through October 20) rather than fighting things out in court.

For the time being, Brad’s team has granted Angie’s request for sole custody with Brad receiving visitation rights, albeit not without some restrictions. His first visit with the children, for instance, will reportedly be with a therapist, with the potential for this to be carried out for the duration of the agreement. In addition, both the actor and Angelina have agreed to undergo individual counseling. Interestingly enough, they will also both be present for larger group counseling sessions with the children as a family unit, making us think there just might be a shred of hope in this mess after all?

Coming on the heels of the news that Angelina has hired crisis manager Judy Smith to help her cope with the larger-than-life headlines, however, we also can’t help but wonder if this turn-of-events wasn’t merely advised in an effort to help, well, manage the crisis.

And after the three weeks is up? That all depends.

If all goes well, the Department of Children and Family Services may simply make a few additional recommendations, but if things go south, they also retain the right to turn the situation over to the courts.

Ay yi yi! We, for one, are simply glad that there will be a cease-fire between both parties for the time being — it’s undoubtedly been one hell of a month for both of them (Brad reportedly hasn’t seen the kids since the news broke), as well as for their six children.

Here’s to hoping all goes smoothly!

If you're a 90s movies (and horror movies) lover, you might agree that nothing beats an old school slasher. I Know What You Did Last Summer, which stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Freddie Prinze Jr., premiered in 1997, combines everything we love about coming of age movies — friends, summer vacation, and drama — with just enough terror to send a chill down your spine. After only two episodes of Only Murders in the Building season 4, Hulu renewed the series for season 5! I'm so excited that the show breaks a recent pattern of cancelling shows after the third or fourth season, giving us more time with our favorite characters, and I'm not the only one.

"Here we go again… my favorite set family. I’m coming home!" Selena Gomez says in an Instagram post, while the official Only Murders account made their own post, saying, "We had our lawyers call business affairs. Turned the 4 into a 5. #OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding is coming back for Season 5!!"

In addition to the show entering production, the one and only Renée Zellweger (Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy) just joined the cast. Iconic!

Here's everything you need to know about Only Murders in the Building season 5, coming to Hulu soon.

Who's in the Only Murders in the Building season 5 cast?

Eric McCandless/Disney

The Only Murders in the Building season 5 cast features all our favorites, and some new faces! According to Dan Fogelman, “we can expect more big guest stars that’ll probably be announced sooner rather than later,” he tells The Wrap.

"I am so grateful that I have been surrounded by human beings that make me better, challenge me, remind me day after day that every moment is a gift," Selena Gomez says about working with Steve Martin and Martin Short. "That’s my pure joy. I thank god for the era I’m in. It’s been the best yet."

The Only Murders season 5 cast includes:

  • Selena Gomez as Mabel Mora: a true crime lover who begins her own podcast after getting sucked into a murder mystery.
  • Martin Short as Oliver Putnam: a theatre director and founder of the Only Murders in the Building podcast.
  • Steve Martin as Charles Hayden Savage: an actor and true crime lover who begins the Only Murders podcast with Oliver and Mabel.
  • Téa Leoni as Sofia Caccimelio: a woman who approaches the podcast trio after her husband Nicky goes missing.
  • Renée Zellweger
  • Christoph Waltz
  • Keegan-Michael Key

What is Only Murders in the Building season 5 about?

Patrick Harbron/Disney

We finally got our first details about Only Murders season 5 — and we're going in a direction I totally didn't expect. When Sofia visits Mabel and Charles in the season 4 ending, and asks them to find her missing husband, she's disappointed when they turn her down. And since Téa Leoni just joined the season 5 cast, it looks like she's not taking no for an answer.

“I think she’s the great tease at the end of the finale and a little bit of an intriguing bump forward,” co-creator John Hoffman says in an interview with Deadline. “She’s an extension of the little news report in Episode 9 that Mabel makes note of at the hospital. [Sofia] is the wife of the Dry Cleaning King of Brooklyn, and maybe a couple of dry cleaning outlets in Manhattan, as well, we may come to know...It’s a world opened up potentially that we haven’t talked about too much yet in New York, so she holds a lot of intrigue.”

Patrick Harbron/Hulu

New York's underground is a wild space that we haven't really seen on Only Murders yet so I know we're in for one very interesting season — because if this show is going to go there, they're going to go there.

Executive producer Dan Fogelman told The Wrapwe can look forward to “another big fun mystery the writers have been cooking up," while Hoffman has gone on the record saying the new episodes will “hit on some very current things going on within New York, specifically very relevant things that are happening in the city right now.”

When is Only Murders in the Building season 5 coming out?

Patrick Harbron/Hulu

There's no Only Murders in the Building season 5 release date quite yet, but the show is in production! Considering we've had a new season over the last four years (with season 1 in 2021, season 2 in 2022, season 3 in 2023, and season 4 in 2024), we're expecting to see season 5 in 2025. Stay tuned for the official Only Murders season 5 release date.

How many episodes are there in Only Murders in the Building season 5?

Patrick Harbron/Hulu

Only Murders in the Building season 5 will have 10 episodes total on Hulu.

It'll take you about five minutes after meeting me to learn I'm from North Carolina. I simply can't stop talking about it! The cities are vibrant, the beaches are gorgeous, and the mountains are beautiful (quick plug for info on donating to Hurricane Helene relief). And since I'm from the Outer Banks, I have been locked in on Netflix's teen drama show of the same name. You can imagine my heartbreak when the streamer announced season 5 would be the final season (and when season 4 killed off my favorite character), but never fear my treasure hunting, adventure seeking friends. Netflix is bringing us a brand new drama called The Waterfront that has enough drama and intrigue to fill the Outer Banks void in your life.

Here's everything you need to know about The Waterfront, streaming on Netflix June 19, 2025.

4. The Expanse

The Expanse, which debuted in 2015 and has six seasons, offers an interesting take on the future of humanity, where human conflict and political intrigue are still an issue, even in the solar system.

It's set in a world where Earth, Mars, and the asteroid belt are on the brink of war, and centers on a crew of survivors from a mining ship, James Holden, Naomi Nagata, Amos Burton, and Alex Kamal, who uncover a big conspiracy. The crew is played by Steven Strait, Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham, and Cas Anvar, respectively.

Fox

5. House

House has redefined the medical genre, thanks in part to the title character, Dr. Gregory House. Played by Hugh Laurie, Dr. House is modeled after Sherlock Holmes and solves medical mysteries that no one else can at the fictional Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey.

Aside from Hugh's iconic performance, the show is driven by a powerful cast of supporting actors, including Robert Sean Leonard, Lisa Edelstein, Omar Epps, Jennifer Morrison, Olivia Wilde, Jesse Spencer, and Kal Penn.

USA

6. Monk

This show offers a unique twist on the detective genre by blending comedy with mystery in a wonderful way. Monk follows Adrian Monk, played by Tony Shalhoub, who is a brilliant but neurotic detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

His phobias and quirks often lead to complications and plenty of hijinks at work. Nonetheless, his unrivaled detective skills still make Adrian one of the best in the business. Monk ran for a total of eight seasons and paved the way for Mr Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie, which came out in 2023.

7. Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan brings the iconic character to the TV screen for the first time. Played by John Krasinski, who's most well-known for his role as Jim in The Office, Jack Ryan is a CIA analyst who finds himself thrust into the field and uncovers a complex pattern in terrorist communications that sets off a high-stakes chain of events.

The series takes the action-packed essence of Clancy's novels and adapts it for television, just in case you prefer to watch instead of read.

Nicole Rivelli

8. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel centers around Miriam "Midge" Maisel, a 1950s housewife who decides to pursue a career in stand-up comedy after discovering she's quite talented at it.

Amazon Studios

9. Fleabag

Fleabag is the adaptation of Phoebe Waller-Bridge's one-woman stage show. As the unnamed protagonist, known only as Fleabag, she plays a dry-witted and emotionally scarred woman who shields herself from pain with sharp humor and unfiltered commentary.

Viewers follow along as she navigates the chaos of life, love, and loss in London. Fleabag is obviously driven by Phoebe Waller-Bridge's outstanding performance, but it also has great supporting actors, including Andrew Scott, Sian Clifford, Brett Gelman, Olivia Colman, Jenny Rainsford, and Bill Patterson.

Liane Hentscher/Prime Video

Last but not least is Upload, a series that definitely deserves more attention. It debuted in 2020, has three seasons, and takes place in 2033, where technology actually allows people to upload their consciousness into a digital afterlife.

So, after the character Nathan, played by Robbie Amell, unexpectedly dies, he's uploaded to the virtual paradise of Lakeview. Upload has a knack for balancing quirkiness with social satire and is sure to keep you hooked.
