24 Under-$100 Home Goods Furniture Finds That Are *SO* Freakin' Good

home goods furniture finds for under $100

We all deserve to have our version of Barbie's dream house — a place that reflects who we are and what we value. Making this a reality can get expensive, though, and can ultimately deter us from creating a space that truly feels like home. Luckily, there are budget-friendly options that fit the aesthetic without hurting our wallets.

Home Goods is one of my go-to's when looking for new home decor. I love that the stores are constantly getting new inventory and that I never know what kind of goodies I'm going to find. So, if you're moving into a new place or just want to spruce up your current one, here are some of my favorite Home Goods furniture categories and examples of some amazing finds for *under $100* that are available on their website right now!

Mirrors

Ok, I have to be honest, I had no idea mirrors were so expensive until I started decorating my own place! Full-length ones, especially, can get so pricy but are essential for making sure your outfits are all that you want them to be. Thankfully, Home Goods delivers in this area time and time again. Both in-store and online, you can trust you'll find a variety of mirror options that are significantly cheaper than other stores.

Max Studio Iron Oval Floor Mirror With Stand

This floor mirror is simple and sleek, with a black matte finish. The round edges elevate its look and make it the perfect addition to any space.

Camden Reed Arch Top Metal Floor Mirror

What really makes this piece stand out is its unique easel stand. Its freestanding display and curved top make it a fun and functional piece.

Beaded Frame Wall Mirror

The beaded design of this circular mirror feels so dainty, I'm obsessed! D-rings make it easy to hang, and the piece doubles as wall decor and a functioning mirror.

Lamps

Image via Skylar Kang/Pexels

Good lighting is essential for your home to feel like a space you want to be in and Home Goods is great for affordable lamp options. From tall floor lamps that brighten up the entire room to small desk lamps that give you the light you need to get work done, Home Goods has a ton of options that are affordable and will fit your needs.

Ceramic Table Lamp

The dimensional texture of this lamp makes it a super fun statement piece! It's perfect to put on a desk or a nightstand to elevate a room.

Metal Floor Lamp

This floor lamp brightens up an entire room and serves as a fun piece of decor! The wood accents make it look more expensive than it is and at 60 inches, it adds dimension to a room.

Ceramic Pot Table Lamp

This lamp is giving bohemian vibes on a budget! The base is textured, making it an elevated alternative to a standard table lamp.

Artwork

\Pieces of artwork are one of the easiest ways to customize a space and add pops of color. They can get expensive, though. And if you're someone who likes to switch it often, this can take a major toll on your bank account. I love getting pieces from Home Goods for this reason, as it allows me to pick out pieces I love and switch them out whenever the mood strikes.

Embellished Arches Wall Art

Ok, this piece is so much more than meets the eye. While it looks great on your wall, what really makes it cool is that there are hidden Bluetooth speakers inside!

Positivity Wall Art Set

These prints look like something you'd see on Pinterest but without the high price tag! There are five different ones included in the set, each with positive quotes or a scenic picture.

Plant Study Framed Wall Art Set

These prints look so good, that no one would ever guess they're under $100. Their brushstroke designs are soothing and add color to your space!

Desks

Image via Alex Qian/Pexels

If you're anything like me, you spend more time at your desk than you'd like to admit. Because of this, having the right desk is so important! It has to be conducive to being your ultimate girl boss self, with lots of space for your laptop, planner, emotional support water bottle, etc. Home Goods is one of my favorite spots to find a desk because they have so many different options and so many of them are affordable!

Folia Contemporary Desk

The legs on this desk are so fun and elevate your workspace without even trying. The desktop surface is spacious, giving you plenty of room to work.

Roman Industrial Folding Desk

This desk is both rustic and refined, thanks to a wooden top and a metal frame. The top is foldable, saving you space, and setup is super simple.

Burton 3 Drawer Desk

My favorite part of this desk is the ample storage space it provides! The three built-in drawers add to the design and allow you to keep your various knick-knacks hidden away.

Side Tables

Image via Max Rahubovskiy/Pexels

TikTok taught me that everyone needs a good side table or night stand to lay out all of their nighttime essentials! Home Goods has some really good options that are affordable and have plenty of space to keep everything you need right where you need it.

Wood Drawer Side Table

This nightstand's small size and square shape make it an adorable addition to a bedroom. The woodgrain gives it an artisanal feel and the concealed drawer gives you storage without bulk.

Wood 2 Drawer Accent Table

If you're someone who likes to keep lots of essentials right by you, this is the perfect nightstand. The two drawers allow for plenty of storage space, plus the contrast between the white paint and the wood makes for an aesthetic find.

Wood 1 Drawer 1 Door Side Table With Charging Station

If you find yourself losing your phone charger and scrambling to find it at night, this nightstand is going to be a game changer. It has a built-in charger, a rustic finish, a drawer, and a cabinet!

Seating

Image via Mikhail Nilov/Pexels

No home would be complete without the perfect place to plop down and take a load off. Home Goods has great seating options for everywhere in your home, whether it be a desk chair, dining table seating, couches, or stools.

2 Dining Chairs

Dining chairs always seem to be way more expensive than you expect! These ones, though, are a great bargain and are available in two different colors: gray and blue.

Velvet Stitched Ottoman

For a seating option that can be moved around, this ottoman is an awesome find. The smooth velvet upholstery makes it look expensive and feels super soft!

Striped Accent Chairs

You can never go wrong with an accent piece, and these chairs don't disappoint. Their striped design is so fun and adds an elegant touch to any room.

Now that Halloween is officially over, it’s time to lean into all things holiday cheer. My favorite way to get into the Christmas spirit is decorating my space to match all the cookie decorating parties, gift wrapping sessions, and holiday cocktail hours to come this winter. But I’m one to do this on a budget – I often hit the thrift store for Christmas decor. When I’m not there, I’m scouring Amazon for pieces that are cute, but still take it easy on my wallet.

These are the best Amazon Christmas decorations I found that don’t cost an arm and a leg, but rival styles you’d find at more upscale stores like Anthropologie and Nordstrom:

Amazon

Peiduo Small LED Light Birch Trees

These tiny trees lit by twinkly LED lights are perfect for topping your mantle or dinner table. I think they add just the right amount of whimsy to your space, no matter how you decorate with them! They're not necessarily Christmas-specific, either. Their simple design allows you to spruce 'em up in all kinds of ways year-round. Similar pieces at Target and Anthropologie range from $21 $68 for one tree, but you can get two trees for just $25 on Amazon right now.

Amazon

Plaid Throw Pillow Covers

Plaid – specifically red plaid – is timeless when it comes to Christmas decor. It never fails to make a space extra cozy! These 18x18-inch covers are perfect for throw pillows on your bed and couch alike. You can snag this set of 2 in a few other holiday-ready colorways for just $10, and they'll likely last you a while with the right care.

    Amazon

    Artgar Real Touch Pine Garland

If you have a mantle, use it! A mantle is prime real estate for Christmas decorations like stockings, candles, and cards – but none of that is truly complete without a good garland! This 6-foot faux pine garland can easily span your mantle to fill in any negative space and simply make things cozier. It comes with attached LED lights (no wall plug necessary, just a few batteries) as well as pinecone accents to make the garland itself feel fuller. Plus, $30 isn't so bad for a statement piece like this!

    Amazon

    Vintage Bow Decorative Tray

This piece reminds me of a tray Pottery Barn Teen and LoveShackFancy sells in their collaborative collection, except it literally costs $60 less. It's not a total dupe, but the one thing it does have in common is bows: the most adorable reference to gifting season! I think this $9 pick could be so cute as a serving platter for Christmas desserts or even as a festive catchall you keep on your coffee table throughout the holidays.

    Amazon

Kate Aspen Retro Floral Drinking Glasses

The intricate design on these green-tinted glasses really has me hooked. They'd look so good with any sort of Christmas party tablescape – as long as you're sipping Christmas cocktails out of them! A similar set of 6 is currently being sold on Quince for $48. This one's only $26.

"What would you do if your entire family, and your hometown, set you up to find love?" That's the question Ashley Williams poses in the first Small Town Setup trailer, coming to Hallmark+ in 2025. And if anyone has the answer, I have no doubt it's Hallmark — if anyone knows about warm, cozy, and sappy romance it's them! Even if you're not a huge reality dating show fan (or if you couldn't stop watching Reese Witherspoon's Love in Fairhope) this is one January TV show you won't want to miss.

Here's everything we know about Hallmark's dating show Small Town Setup, hosted by Ashley Williams.

'Small Town Setup' puts you right in a Hallmark movie.

All six episodes of Small Town Setup premieres on Hallmark+ on Thursday, January 2, 2025, and is hosted by Ashley Williams, who you'll recognize from movies like Falling Together and Two Tickets to Paradise as well as How I Met Your Mother.

Just like your favorite Hallmark movies are all about finding love, Small Town Setup focuses on singles coupling up. The show will follow a single who "has made it in the big city, but has yet to find love." And their concerned parents (definitely a Hallmark trope and an IRL trope...) get the whole neighborhood involved in finding three potential matches.

"When the singleton arrives home for a visit, they are presented with dating options curated by their hometown. After three dates, will they find love in their hometown? Or head back to the big city? All is revealed at a big town hall event, full of heart, warmth, and a few laughs along the way."

Okay, getting the entire town involved in my love life sounds crazy, but the whole community coming together for a town hall event sounds exactly like the kind of sweet and sappy event my life needs. (Listen!! Dating as a 20-something in the city is harder than I expected...)

Throughout the trailer we see our singles looking for love around their hometown, going on small town dates, and finding connection in the most unexpected places. Yeah...I'll be tuning in — especially since Small Town Setup is totally giving Gilmore Girls.

Searching for exterior paint colors can be overwhelming; it's a big commitment to paint your entire home! When I was ready to paint my fixer upper four years ago I found the perfect combo at my local Benjamin Moore store, but I flipped their body, door, and trim suggestions to suit my preference, choosing Chelsea Grey for the door (instead of body), Woodlawn Blue for the house (instead of door), and White for the trim. A lot of it comes down to choice, but there's more to consider when choosing exterior paint colors. Whether you're looking to improve your curb appeal, increase your resale value, or just want to refresh the home you love, paint can make a huge, beautiful difference. Here's how.

    Lucut Razvan

"I am loving the trend toward warm paint colors, with a monochromatic exterior highlighted by a vibrant door for a pop of color," says Compass realtor Suzanne Ashimine. Pale Oak from Benjamin Moore "is a taupe greige that appears almost white in bright light but reveals a subtle purple undertone in shaded areas," she adds.

    Damiano Fiore

Ashimine also recommends Fawn Brindle by Sherwin-Williams for a versatile warm taupe greige that suits a variety of architectural styles.

How To Choose An Exterior Paint Color

    Lina Kivaka

There are a few factors to consider when choosing an exterior paint color. What might work for a coastal home near the beach might not work for a craftsman in the mountains. Look around your neighborhood and consider the color palette of the neighborhood. You don't necessarily want to be the pop of yellow in a sea of taupe, but you also don't want to be like all the others.

Consider what goes best with your neighborhood, the colors you tend to gravitate toward in the interior, and exterior color trends that will keep your home modern and fresh looking. You also want to consider more than one color: there's the trim, windows, garage doors, shutters, and natural elements you'll need to complement like brick, stone, and roof colors.

    chi m

"Make sure that the roof complements the house color to achieve a cohesive aesthetic," adds Ashimine.

    Clare Paint

"Aegean Olive (1491) by Benjamin Moore, a deep, earthy green with brown undertones, is perfect for grounding a home," she says. This Etsy palette of green paints is perfect for olive lovers. Clare Paint Field Trip is a deep, forest green hue that feels outdoorsy and elegant at the same time too.

    Ethan Hansen

"The exterior of your home is the first thing people see," says Sue Wadden, Sherwin-Williams Director of Color Marketing. "Why not play up the unique aspects of your home's architecture to make a memorable impression?" Is your home modern, traditional, a bungalow, a craftsman, a Victorian? There are so many ways paint can highlight its best features.

    Sherwin Williams

This Craftsman, a style known for its natural and earthy tones, looks like a natural fit for its landscaping in Sherwin Williams Roycroft Vellum on the body and Sherwin Williams Craftsman Brown on the trim. Accentuating the details are Rookwood Brown and a pop of Naval on the door.

    Farrow & Ball

This modern home is anchored by a pop of pink with Farrow & Ball's happy-inducing Rangwali hue.

    Farrow & Ball

Here's Farrow & Ball's Rangwalias front door inspo too!

    Benjamin Moore

A cool muted hue like Benjamin Moore's Louisburg Green on the body with a deep mossy green like Castle Peak Gray on the door (and Halo on the trim) are more coastal vibes for a home near the water.

    Farrow & Ball via @tomcouch

If you're looking for a zen upgrade to your outdoor space, Farrow & Ball Mizzle is a greyish green that is a soothing neutral indoors and out.

    Farrow & Ball via @all.thats.pretty

Here is Mizzle on a darling Dutch door paired with Farrow & Ball Pointing on the body.

    Clare Paint

Clare Paint's Vintage is a fun door color for a modern farmhouse (especially where I live in wine country!).

    Benjamin Moore

This cool gray-painted siding stands out among all the greenery in Benjamin Moore's Cloud Cover (on siding), Concord Ivory on door, and Gray Owltrim.

    Zac Gudakov

Prefer something in the orange family? Consider a cool, deep orange like Sherwin Williams Rookwood Terra Cottaor Earthen Jug with a pink-infused hue like Sherwin Williams Intimate White. Loch Blue is a pop of blue to compliment both.

    Benjamin Moore

This door in Benjamin Moore's Nicolson Green makes a bold statement on this more traditional off-white exterior in Benjamin Moore's Harwood Putty.

    Farrow & Ball

Farrow & Ball's Schoolhouse White is also a beautiful exterior white. The planter is painted in Farrow & Ball's Inchyra Blue.

    Sherwin Williams

This Victorian home gets a modern refresh with Sherwin Williams Sheraton Sage and Downing Sand on the trim, with accents on the window and stairs in Rookwood Antique Gold and Fairfax Brown.

    Benjamin Moore

Brown is also a popular house color for fall for a bit of drama. Benjamin Moore's Dragon’s Breath is a versatile dark brown that goes with anything, especially bright greenery to welcome guests. Another brown to consider is Benjamin Moore's French Press.

    Sherwin Williams

Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black makes a bold front door.

    Benjamin Moore

This home with a front porch mixes gray, brown and green tones highlighted by Benjamin Moore's Meditation for an earthy finish. These Benjamin Moore neutrals are perfect for highlighting architectural detail: Sparrow, Black Forest Green, and Kendall Charcoal.

    Benjamin Moore

Love the details of Spanish-style homes? If you are painting stucco, look for something creamy like Benjamin Moore's White Chocolate contrasted beautifully with dark green door shutters and trim like Benjamin Moore'sDark Olive.

Tourism can be a blessing for the economy of many cities around the world, but it often comes at a price. Destinations like Venice and Bali are iconic for a reason — they’re unique, breathtaking places that lure travelers from around the globe. But when a travel destination becomes too popular, it risks losing its charm and overcrowding can strain infrastructure, inflate costs for locals, and disrupt the peace and quiet of small, serene towns.

Here are 12 destinations that have struggled with overtourism. The good news? Many are implementing smart strategies to balance tourism with sustainability. Planning to visit? Consider booking during the off-season for a more authentic and enjoyable experience or try these hidden gems.

    Pixabay

    Venice, Italy

Cruise ships and swarms of tourists have overwhelmed this picturesque city, leading to overcrowded canals, damaged infrastructure, and skyrocketing prices. The local population is dwindling as Venetians leave due to the city’s unsustainable tourism boom. Last spring, in an effort to manage the influx, the city put into effect an entry fee for day-trippers and has limited cruise ships docking its shores.

    Oleksandr P

    Bali, Indonesia

Once an idyllic paradise, Bali now suffers from traffic congestion, environmental degradation, and overcrowded beaches. The island’s resources are strained under the weight of mass tourism, but there are efforts underway to promote sustainability like putting a moratorium on new hotels.

    Willian Justen de Vasconcellos

    Machu Picchu, Peru

Overtourism has led to erosion and damage to this ancient Incan citadel. A quota system and mandatory guides are helping preserve this popular South American destination.

    Darren Lawrence

    Tulum, Mexico

Once a tranquil paradise known for its pristine beaches, ancient Mayan ruins, and eco-chic vibe, Tulum has become a cautionary tale of overtourism. The surge in popularity, fueled by Instagram-worthy scenery, has brought overcrowding, environmental strain, and rising costs. The Guardianreported that locals are being pushed out by developers and despite the thinking that tourism helps local communities, poverty nearly doubled between 2015 and 2020. Local ecosystems, including fragile mangroves and coral reefs, are threatened by unchecked construction and pollution too. The local ruins have implemented stricter rules like no food or drink to limit trash and environmental impact from tourists.

    Jimmy Teoh

    Santorini, Greece

Instagram fame has turned this once-serene island into a tourist hotspot. Narrow streets are perpetually clogged, and locals are struggling with soaring costs of living due to tourism demand. The government has since capped the number of daily cruise ship visitors to keep overtourism at bay.

    Chait Goli

    Cinque Terre, Italy

Known for its colorful cliffside villages and breathtaking coastal views, these once-quiet fishing towns now see millions of visitors annually, way more than they can handle. To combat issues like congestion and cruise ships, local authorities have introduced visitor caps and encourage sustainable travel to protect Cinque Terre’s charm.

    Rudy Kirchner

    Reykjavík, Iceland

Is there anyone not going to Iceland these days? A small country with breathtaking landscapes, Iceland has been overwhelmed by tourists flocking to Instagram-famous sites like the Blue Lagoon and Diamond Beach. It's best to travel during the off season (November to April) and travel to lesser known spots like the Sturlungalaug hot spring.

    youseflns

Maya Bay, Thailand (Phi Phi Islands)

This iconic beach, popularized by the DiCaprio film The Beach, suffered ecological devastation from hordes of visitors and anchored boats. Coral reefs were destroyed, and the beach was closed for years to allow recovery. It has since reopened after a huge revitalization project, but they have introduced visitor caps.

    Pixabay

    Kyoto, Japan

Traditionally quiet streets of this ancient capital city now teem with tourists during peak season. An increase in litter from tourists has required the city to install more trash bins to handle the crowds, and peaceful geishas are often chased down for photos. To mitigate the problem, Kyoto is considering running special buses to popular sites to reduce overcrowding, and temples and shrines are encouraging visitors to come early in the morning.

    Prabin Sunar

    Mount Everest, Nepal

The ultimate challenge for adventurers, Mount Everest has experienced overcrowding on the slopes and at base camps, leading to dangerous conditions, with litter and human waste piling up on the mountain. Permits are now harder to get, and stricter regulations for climbers are being enforced.

    Mateusz Popek

    Dubrovnik, Croatia

The Game of Thrones effect brought an influx of fans to this medieval city. Overcrowded streets and cruise ship arrivals have made it difficult to appreciate its beauty. The local government is taking steps to limit daily visitors and impose stricter cruise ship regulations.

    Helena I

    Lisbon, Portugal

Short-term rentals dominate the housing market now, thanks to affordable flights and the digital nomad craze. This has led to skyrocketing rents and displaced locals. Historic neighborhoods are inundated with tourists, making them less charming too. Everything from public transport to waste management struggles to keep pace with the influx. I went in December and it still felt a bit like Disneyland. Douro Valley and Madeira might be more favorable destinations any time of year.
